Putting the finishing touches on my new store!
This GRAND Basset Griffon Vendéen is announcing the GRAND opening of her own store! Yes, I am going into business! What do us girls love to do? Shop – so why not shop at my new store?
As you may have noticed, my mom really enjoys photography and especially us pets. She is by far not a professional but practice makes perfect and I know all to well how much she practices! Sheesh…can’t even sleep without a flash going off! Actually, I like modeling for mom, I love being the center of attention. If mom says “photo shoot” I am Johnny on the spot there and ready for my task. I don’t know how many photos mom has but I would say it is in the 1000’s, she took 105 just at our last dog park visit! She deletes the bad ones but the good ones add up. We get many compliments on our photos and many people have said they would like cards or calendars or other items with some of my goofiness in a photo. This got mom thinking and finally she decided to help me open my own store.
The other thing mom and I have noticed is that there are so many sad, homeless animals, many being shown online. We like to keep our site fun and happy most of the time, it makes us too sad to have those pictures on our site but we do feel for all those pets. Because of this we have decided to donate 25% of the profits from my store to the Animal Humane Society. Mom has adopted many pets from there over the years and it would be money they could really use. Even if I only sell a few items I will still donate the 25% as every little bit will help.

Since this is all new territory for me and mom, we may change things up depending on the feedback we get.
