A Real Modelling Job | GBGV

What a great surprise – I had a real modelling job!  If you follow me you may remember that I did a photo audition back in March with Barbara O’Brien Photography.  I had pretty much given up hope of ever being a real model, meaning doing work for someone other than my mom.  Well, I guess that the other night after I had gone to bed mom got a call that I had a real photo job for Target on Thursday!  She did not tell me but I knew that something was up as she was extra happy and she was telling me I had big plans.  I also apologize if anyone is offended by the nudity in some of my photos but the groomer and photo people requested that I remove my collar.

My Thursday started out with a trip to the doggie spa to see Emily, my groomer, at Doodles to Poodles Dog Grooming.  I like Emily but did not see why I needed to be fancied up, after all, I was just fancied up a few weeks back.  I

got trimmed, my coat stripped and then a bath and blow dry.  I was looking fine I must say but I do prefer some nice dirt and mud on myself.  Mom picked me  up and we went home for a bit and then she said we had to get going again.

Another trip without Katie, that is usually a bad thing meaning vet or something.  I got all seatbelted into the car and we headed out to a photo shoot.  I found it really odd too because mom did not have her good camera with her that she uses for our photo shoots.

We drove to a place called Fuse Box which is a pretty cool photo studio.  I was a bit apprehensive about going in because I thought it might be a trick but it was not.  Everybody loved me and thought I was so cute and I got treats which was great!

I did a photo shoot for a dog bed for Target.  The bed is – oh, I can’t say because it is a secret but it will be coming out with my photo on the packaging – oh, they don’t tell us when, it is also a secret.  What I can say is that it was a really comfy bed!  I did a super

good job everyone said.  I sat there just as they asked me too, I looked cute and I even panted for them.  The whole thing took about 1/2 hour total and I even get paid for my work – this will be my first paycheck!  I best open a woofing account at the First Bank of Dogs to keep my money safe.

Mom says she will be checking Target weekly until the bed with me on the package comes out and you can bet that I will be sharing it with everyone when it does! Imagine going down the aisle and seeing

Emma on a shelf!  Hopefully they liked me so much that they will have me do other modelling jobs for them in the future.  I love modelling and I think I am a natural!

Now I need to go outside and roll around in the grass and dirt a bit to get that awful clean smell off of me!
