Next to squirrels, wabbits and baking, reading is on top of my favorite hobbies list. As you know, Go, Dog, Go is the absolute best book of all time in my opinion but I also enjoy seasonal and/or educational books too.
I had mom go to the library and get me some good Christmas books for the holiday season. She picked out some really good ones but the best by far is the one called Santa’s Secrets Revealed!
Poor Santa is always clouded with so many questions including those awful beings that say he does not exist – rubbish! This book is really a great tell all about Santa and how he works. Actually, some parts were pretty frightening when he gets into how he tells who is naughty or nice…you really need to watch yourself because he knows! According to this book, Santa gathers data on all of us from cameras that can see us from as far as 50,000 miles away! The data is all stored on computers these days and
the computer keeps track of all the naughty and nice behaviors. The reindeer actually have built in radar that bounces off obstacles and is collected by their antlers to give them directions and their firefly DNA provides the light. Those elves are amazing too with all the work they do – it is like a small city where they are! Everyone should read Santa’s Secrets Revealed.
I got some other fun books too, one was more of a picture book that had fun stuff to
look at. Even Katie took a look at the picture book but she is not much for reading.
One day I decided that I should really read my cat bro Bert a story, so I chose Santa Got Stuck in the Chimney because Bert is so chubby 🙂 Not my best idea! I got into his scratching post to read to him, we even put on theme hats to help us really get into the story but when I got to the part about Santa being stuck, Bert freaked out. Look at his eyes – he was terrified. I thought the story was so funny but since Bert is chubby, it was scary for him. I had to stop reading and explain to him that it is just a story and there is nothing to worry about. I guess in the future I better find a book that will not scare him.
Nevertheless, reading Christmas books is fun, if you haven’t read any, you really should!

Hey Emma, Jet here. Hi Katie (and Bert).
Emma, another spectacular post… you simply excel at crafting your posts… how thoughtful of you to select books for the family. We cannot even pick a word that properly conveys how much we loved your photos. Nice to see Katie, she’s our kind of fluffy! You certainly have the holiday feel down pat!
Amazing photos and totally cute. So sweet to see kitty enjoying her story.
