Oh boy! Blogville has been all a buzz the past week about the Valentines Ball.  That is not my thing at all, getting all fancy, finding a date, no thanks…I just like to have no frills fun! If you follow me much you know that my sister Katie is the one that would love a Valentines Ball.  She is all fancy, doesn’t like to get dirty, is boy crazy…you know, the type that would like to go to a Valentines Ball.

You may remember last spring I secretly signed Katie up for MatchPuppy.com She did get some response but nothing that really blew wind into her fur coat.  She continues to flirt with all the younger males around our neighborhood and is “dating” 3 boys that live within a block of each other. We have to stop and see each one sometimes when we are out walking. Those boys see her with the other boy and they whine, bark, etc…it makes me sick all this lubby dubby stuff. I have more important things to do like squirrel and wabbit tracking.  A serious hound such as myself does not have

Ok, back to the ball. After seeing everyone posting about their dates for the ball I got the brilliant idea to find a date for Katie so she could attend the ball, what a nice little sis I am…arroooo!!!  Through my blog friends I have met Jasper in the Mangamahu valley, just south of Wanganui in New Zealand. Cupid Emma hits Katie with the “love bug”

has requested that I post more about Katie so I figured he must be interested in her. When I read last week that he needed a date for the Valentine’s Ball, I quickly got out my cupid bow and arrow set and shot my sister with the love bug, after which she accepted Jasper’s invitation and is all excited about it. I am happy for both of them as they look similar, he is a good sized boy and he is younger which Katie likes.  Now she is really busy getting in extra “beauty rest naps” so she will be absolutely stunning for the ball.
