Emma: Hi Katie, will you let me interview you?
Katie: Why, don’t you have someone else to ask your silly questions to? Big yawn…
Emma: Oh, come on, you’re my big sister and I really want you on my blog, woof!
Katie: Fine, but try not to be too ridiculous, please, you know I don’t like being ridiculous. I will just stay lying down here if you don’t mind since I was kind of napping.
Emma: Ok, you can sit or lay or whatever, but why don’t you like being silly, it is so much fun! Aroooo!
Katie: Emma, I am a mature, elegant Kuvasz lady so why would I like to be made a fool of?
Emma: Well, fine, then we will try to keep this serious. How is it that you are so elegant anyway, were you always that way?
Katie: No, when I was a puppy I got into lots of trouble and mischief and mom could never imagine me being an elegant dog but I matured as time passed.
Emma: Will the same thing happen to me, how dreadful! Grrr…
Katie: I doubt it, you are already 6 and still a complete shaggy, crazy, mess. I think you will always be like that.
Emma: Oh good! Woof! You love my crazy self, though, don’t you?
Katie: Aside from that first week or so when mom first brought you home I have always loved you and had fun with you even though you can really push my paw pads at times, grrr.
Emma: What do you mean?
Katie: For years you pulled my tail, now that darn cat Bert does it instead, and you are always jumping on top of me and wanting to wrestle, plus you eat your stuff so slowly, it kills me, I just want to steal it all from you, but I don’t.
Emma: Thanks for not stealing my stuff, anything else I do that you don’t like?
Katie: Well, you are naughty a lot and I am always afraid I will get blamed, grrr, but I think mom knows it is you and not me, especially when it comes to stealing things like her food!
Emma: Yeah, I think she knows but I don’t care, the crime is usually worth the time! Arroooo! Why do you like boys so much?
Katie: I think the better question would be why don’t you? They are fun and they love me because I am a big, friendly, beautiful female. You are just a tease which they don’t like so much.
Emma: But you love me right, sigh…
Katie: You know I love you and I would do anything for you, we are best friends and sisters! I will always miss my sister Trine but I am so thankful that I have you!
Emma: Awww, that is sweet, you know I cry when you take off sometimes and I can’t see you like at the big dog park with lots of trees. I’m super attached to you and to mom.
Katie: I know, you are kind of a real baby, but that might be mom’s fault, I do just fine on my own, although, I do miss you and mom somewhat if you are not around.
Emma: Since you spent so much of your life in Germany, do you miss it?
Katie: I miss getting to go everywhere with mom like shopping and out to eat but I really miss all my friends that I had. We had so much fun playing on the dike and the beach along the North Sea and I could go out to eat and go shopping with mom too but the main thing is that we have a wonderful home with mom. Actually, I take back the shopping thing, that was super boring, but I left my fur all over the stores to get them back for being so boring, woof, woof!
Emma: We do have a pretty good life, I just did not live in Germany long enough to really miss it, so I am happy here. One last thing, are you sad that I have a blog and social media accounts and you don’t?
Katie: No, not at all. I don’t want any of that stuff. My pals are all real and I see them when we are out walking, I don’t need all your goofy computer stuff.
Emma: Thanks for the interview Katie, I promise not to post too many goofy pics of you on the internet, ok?
***On a side note, mom, Katie and I finished the Idita Walk on Valentines day…we are still walking, just hit that goal and kept moving on…
Welcome to Monday Mischief – The pet blog hop that wraps up the weekend! This Blog Hop is brought to you by Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog, My Brown Newfies and Luna, A Dog’s Life
Great interview, even if sisters are difficult. Oh, the love of siblings 😉
Congrats on finishing the walk and still continuing.
Thanks, my sister has her moods but I do love her!
What a great interview with Katie! I certainly seems like you love each other very much!
Congratulations on finishing the Idita walk!
Thanks…now if we could just take a walking break but that will never happen with mom…walk-a-holic that she is!
what a fun and clever post! Yay for finishing the walk!
Woof!
Woof! Woof! FUN interview. I say it was a good one … Katie is so sweet. Sending her Golden Kisses. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Oh no…she loves kisses…she may fall in love with you!
Enjoyed your interview with Katie! She is so pretty and sweet! We bet she makes a great big sis!
She is really patient with me and puts up with me…I could learn a lot from her about not being so naughty but I kind of like being a naughty pup…my image 😉
Congrats on hitting your goal – and for a pawsome interview. I’m hearing that song from the old movie, “Sisters…”
🙂 Thanks…
Thanks for helping us get to now Kaite more. And great job on the walking!!
Thank you! Katie is a wonderful dog to have for a sister!
I like that interview!
Purrs,
Nissy
Thank you…it was like pulling teeth to get her to do it!
Baawaahhaaaa Push my Paw pads, that was funny. Love your comment back to orientalliy001 ( that was a mouth full ..BOL ) Great interview and Katie is adorable like you, can never imagine her being naughty:) Have a wonderful Monday xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
Glad you enjoyed it, I won’t tell Katie you thought it was funny since she is so serious about things 😉
It sounds like you get along as well as can be expected…lol.
the brown dawgs
Or maybe a bit better…most of the time 😉
you guys are some seriously cosmopolitan, 21-st century pups! With a sense of humor to boot.
Thanks…mom says we are worldly since we have been in many countries and lots of states…I think we are just lucky dogs!
That was a great interview and sounds like two typical sisters!
and we even share outfits (meaning our collars).
Love the picture!!!!
Thanks…wish Katie would have cooperated a bit more but I have to take what I can get with her!
Aw… you had a sister moment, too cute and very typical sounding!
Yeah, we have our “moments”.
That was a fun interview! Maybe I should try that with my sisters. Maybe not!
Well, if it is your interview you can always edit it 😉
Great interview!
Congrats on finishing the challenge too
Thanks!
This is hilarious, the funniest thing is this is how me and my cousin talk lol. She would be katie I would be Emma lol
Good, then we must be normal dogs 😉
soooo cool!!
Thank you, woof!
What a wonderful interview it was nice to meet Katie. I didn’t know that your both lived in Germany as hunds! I know exactly what you mean Katie, going out to dinner or the pub, loads of fun, going shopping….boring!
Even though they all say shopping is boring I would still like the option…no chance in the USA.
It’s true, we dogs get spoiled here in Europe. The USA needs to get on board, so we can have the choice of being bored shopping or not!
Great interview. Katie seems very wise. Also, I never knew you were all from Germany. Pretty cool. I heard dogs are allowed in a lot more places over there than here. Maybe one day….we can hope. 🙂
I was born in England and mom brought me to Germany, Katie was born in Germany but we all moved to the US in 2007. It was so great going everywhere as a dog but I doubt that will happen here because most dog owners aren’t responsible enough…German dogs are quite well behaved, Americans are the same with kids as many of them are out of control too…sad but true…a different culture.
Emma, great interview. Personally, I would much prefer a silly, up for some fun girl doggie than a prima donna who wants to lay about.

My sister is a very refined one…but we are total opposites and work well together 🙂
Emma I think you and Katie are sisfurs and best furriends and that’s so wonderful…It must be great to have someone there to play with anytime…Congrats on finishing the Idita-Walk so quickly…You’re the champs of Team Dogventurers fur sure…Momz & I are half way done now and we too plan to keep walking after we finish…it’s become a big part of our day together
Walking is so important for some many reasons for us doggies and our humans…keep on pawing forward!
I enjoyed learning more about Katie! Well done on finishing the walk.
Thanks…I am sure you and Katie would be good pals too!
Oh Emma,
You’re such an awesome interviewer!! Love the picture – I’m amazed you got so much out of Katie, she didn’t seem in the mood – you guys are funny!! 🙂
Have a fun weekend,
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
Correct, Katie is never “in the mood” for silliness but I force her to have fun sometimes 😉 She just likes to hang out and be elegant…boring…zzzzz
