As you know, Buddy is here and there is nothing more fun than being flying dogs on a brisk winter afternoon in January! Woof! Wait a minute, it is spring time. It is March. Buddy is here for spring break, not winter break…this weather has me thinking it is January! No matter, whatever time of year it is, the sun is shining, we have cold and snow and us dogs enjoy a good romp in the white stuff which can end up in flying dogs. If mom would just stop what she is doing and let us out, that would be a great start! She obviously is not paying enough attention to us or she would have seen us all stacked up by the door to go out!
Most of our friends are tennis ball freaks and Buddy is no exception. He finds a tennis ball and that is all he wants to focus on…boring…zzzzzzzzzz!!! Katie and I are not into tennis balls, well, I am not at all, but Katie likes to steal it when another dog is playing with it and then get a game of chase me going. Usually this works unless there is more than one tennis ball in play. Katie
is always trying to animate Buddy into playing but he is still afraid of her, so he never chases her for the ball.
Then there is me, Emma, queen of the yard, best chase and wrestle dog in town. I love to just run, jump, attack and continue. I have learned that if I pester Buddy enough he will finally give in and play my game with me. It is a lot of fun and that little fellow does some pretty good flying of his own! We had so much fun, and don’t worry, even though some of the shots
look like we might be fighting or someone might be getting body slammed, no one was hurt or injured, we just had our wild pants on and wore ourselves out racing through the snow so much. Now for some fun flying dog photos…real down and dirty action shots of me and Buddy, yay! Remember you can always click on an image to see it in a larger size!
Welcome to Monday Mischief – The pet blog hop that wraps up the weekend! This Blog Hop is brought to you by Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog, My Brown Newfies and Luna, A Dog’s Life
What fantastic photo’s Em, I love roughing it with my buddies 🙂 Yeah, where’s Spring and look at all that snow you have xx00xx
Mollie and Alfie
Chase and wrestle is my absolute fav!
Those snow photos are sooooooo much fun! I wanna come play!
Get on your wild pants and jumping shoes and head over!
The pictures are so cute!
Thanks!
You still have a lot of snow don’t you? It looks like you are all having a lot of fun together. 🙂
We still have a lot of that white stuff but spring is supposed to appear the end of the week.
Wow, you got some incredible action shots there. Glad you guys are having so much fun, even if Spring is not behaving itself
If you can’t beat the weather, make the best of it!
Those are great action shots. We love to get our wild pants on too.
Ready for action…wild is wonderful!
It looks like you are having a great time with Buddy! We can’t believe you still have snow! We never even got enough to play in and you still have it. Lucky you, even though we are kind of glad that Spring is right around the corner…we hope!
We hope to see the grass in a week or so, they say the end of the week spring will appear.
Look at you two go! That sure looks like you were sure having a big time!
We do get pretty crazy and then pretty tired out!
What amazing fun, Emma! There are some great flying shots in there!
*high paws*
Oz
Flying over to high paw five you 😉
Awesome action pics Emma! We didn’t know you could fly!!!
I think it is my flapping ears…like airplane wings 😉
Wow! Looks like you two were really having a wonderfully wild time!!! Maybe I should get myself a pair of those ‘wild pants’!
LOL! Yep, they really do the trick!
WOW! You still have LOTS of snow…
Purrs
I know, but it should start melting now, it is finally going to be above freezing.
Emma-how do you get your body to go in those positions? Lol! Looks like you had a blast!
I am super long and short, so I can jump and twist and I am only 6, so still pretty flexible!
Looks like a blast! Especially love that photo of Buddy mid-air.
thus…flying dogs, we get pretty wild!
Oh, that looks like so much fun, Emma! I wish my dogs would play like that a little more, and be a little less focused on those silly tennis balls! It is great that you are still enjoying the snow too. Even though I complain about it, I know the dogs are just as happy to have it….they love to play in it too. 🙂
That tennis ball obsession can get in the way of fun but we do our best to coax the other dogs into racing with us 😉
That looks like sooo much fun:-)
You would so love it in all the snow romping around!
Emma, you are quite an athlete! Kuster says he wishes he were there with you. He’d give you a run for your money, that’s for sure!
Bunny
The more dogs, the more fun…anyone can play in our yard!
Woof! Woof! I see that your ear is up, WOW. So much FUN. We did not get any snow. Happy Monday Mischief. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Ours is finally starting to melt and spring may really be coming this weekend!
OMD…that looks like a blast!!! What awesome photos too!!! They all look like they were sure enjoying the white stuff!!!
We were, just my sister can’t race around like she used to but she had fun despite that.
Great photos…snow white! 🙂
Hmmm…I best look for my 7 dwarfs…they are probably buried under the snow!
Hey Emma,
Best chase and wrestle dog in town? Ooooh, we so need a play date!! You should come over to my place as spring is definitely here, it’s super warm and sunny (in the 70s)!!
Wags to all
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
Spring is supposed to show up by the end of the week, which means that green (or brown at this time of year) will be back soon!
That looks like a lot if fun, Lexie and Mica play together but both being big there is a lot more chest bumps. Nobody goes down!!
Since they are much bigger they are probably not as agile 🙂
Looks like you are having a lot of fun. Are you loud when you wrestle? Sampson is very verbal it sounds like something horrible is happening but its really not!
No noise when I wrestle but when I chase I let out my GBGV hunting call which mom says is scary and loud!
Wonderful photos…and nice of you to keep pestering him until he gave in and had some real fun!
Thank you 🙂
