Hey there! It’s me, that crazy dog Emma barking about staying in shape again!
Before I get to the part about my new stick, I have to thank the sponsors of K9 Kamp for awarding me the Best Dressed Kamper Badge! How cool is that! Who would have imagined it being me, but on the other hand, it is not just what you do it is how you look doing it. My mom tells me that all the time, not sure if it is true or not 🙂 K9 Kamp has ended, I am rested, and we are on the road paw padding it forward as always. Early morning long walks, chase and wrestle with friends and some pool time are all on our summer program. We look forward to the next K9 Kamp in the fall!
Now for a little video of me with a wonderful treasure I picked up at the park the other day. Sometimes I just love a big stick. I gallop around with it all proud like, and usually carry it all the way home with me. Remember staying fit doesn’t have to be anything grueling, just romping around with a stick helps keep a pup fit!
Next week I will have some fun posts as Emma’s B&B has been rocking the past couple weeks! On Monday you will see the most unlikely guest ever! Check back to see who spent four days with us!

Mom says I am a super proud dog that always holds her head and tail high, especially if I have a treasure like stolen laundry or a stick 🙂

Living with mom, I don’t have a choice. She had to wear a boot up to her knee for a month in the winter but she still walked us a couple hours a day and the boot fell apart around week 3 – LOL! This weekend we have 2 dog guests and she runs with the one and then walks all 4 of us at once…I think the neighbors may call a doctor to have her evaluated 😉

A good stick is great fun!
The simple things is life are the best – nothing beats a good stick. When Eko was a puppy he used to pick up sticks about four times as wide as his body and then get stuck in the doorframe when he tried to bring them inside.
Oh dear, that is embarrassing! We thought of you this morning as I have two friends at my B&B, making it four dogs total and mom is walking us all at once but she doesn’t have a free hand for a photo 🙁 2-40, 1-80 and 1-10 pounder. It is going really well actually!
That’s one thing Chester and Gretel never do – play with sticks. I know some Doxies that do though 🙂

Great job Emma staying fit and looking great!! We love sticks too, but we just like to chew on them and shred them into little pieces for Mom to clean up 🙂
I can’t have them at home because I shred and eat then but I love to run with them on walks.
We never eat them, cause Mom has told us since tiny puppies that they would hurt us. We just leave a pile of shredded stick for her to clean. The fun is shredding anyway 🙂

No but the wind did get some branches down that I can pick up 🙂
