You humans always talk about how busy you are and how much stress you have but have you tried living the life of Emma the GBGV? I think I am almost at my limit as far as what a dog can do in a day, or week, or month! Putting it simply, I’m working like a dog! I thought I would join in the Follow Up Friday blog hop this week to sum up what is happening at my dog house.
Last Friday Buddy arrived for his fifteen day stay at Emma’s B&B. We had some rotten weather the first few days but things have cleared up so we are happier being outside now. As usual, he is a bit tired from all the walking but he is having a nice vacation. He has also learned how to ring my doorbell…at first this made Mom really happy but now he just rings and rings and rings and Mom is about ready to remove the battery!
Monday was Mom’s birthday. We had a pawsome day and she thanks everyone so much for all the birthday wishes. She loved the cake but is now telling me she ate too much…humans…they are so hard to keep happy!
We are still actively searching for Snoopys in the Twin Cities. So far we have posted three. I think when we find the ones that are outside we will have about ten. Some are just Snoopy and some are Snoopy on his dog house. It really is a fun project finding them! If you have missed them, check my last three Wordless Wednesday posts. If you have no clue what I am barking about, click here to read about why I am searching for Snoopys.
Since I’m howling about Snoopy, I got my new Snoopy collar from England this week – Official Royal Mail. I just love it. We have searched for one for a long time and could not find one in the US. I order this from Snoopy’s Collars in the UK and they shipped it over to me. I am wearing it proudly!
Other than my usual day to day wabbit and squirrel hunting, and the items I mentioned above, I am in the end stages of getting my book ready to publish. It has been edited, the cover photo is done, my logo is done, now I have to finish finding all the photos, get the cover designed, and then publish. It has been fun, but Mom and I are ready to be finished. It will be coming out as an e-book and paperback this fall. Since I am a worldly dog, it will be available in many countries, but only in English. I have decided to call it something that suits me…Tales of a French Scent Hound. The book is based on my blog – a bit about my breed, and then short stories about me and my life. There will be lots of photos too! Please keep my book in mind for Christmas as it is really a book for kids to adults and will be sure to bring smiles and laughter to any recipient. Mom and I are super excited, and we have lots of fun marketing ideas lined up as well. Stay tuned to this blog for further information as it becomes available.
