This is the best time of the summer for looking at flowers. Here in Minnesota we can’t even plant them until the end of May, they take a couple months to grow into beautiful plants, and by August they are at their peak!
Sniffing the flowers I planted on our deck in the early morning sun after a nice walk.
I was looking for wabbits in my neighbor’s garden when Mom forced me to stop and pose for a photo. The flowers are pretty but a wabbit in the middle would be even better!
Yes, we wouldn’t be Minnesotans without a “Snowball Bush”. This year with our cool wet weather they have really grown and have huge snowball flowers.
Take a moment this month to really enjoy the beauty (if you live in an area with seasons) as next month fall starts approaching and the flowers start losing their luster.
Today I am joining my friend Sugar the Golden Retriever in her {This Moment} See Beautiful blog hop which is the 2nd Friday of every month. The purpose is to share what we see that is beautiful and brings meaning to our life. Sharing Moments of Beautiful event/occasions, actions/emotion, scenery, object … following what Confucius said
“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.”
Emma, that sure is see beautiful 🙂 Have a wonderful weekend xx00xxx

You too 🙂 Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do!
Beautiful flowers. Glad your mom talked you into taking a break from wabbit chasing for a picture.
She can be a real spoiler sometimes. I hear there is more to life than wabbits but I find that hard to believe!
Yes seen many of those Snowball flowers too here. Many little furry friends find them as a hideout. Your mom planted Beautiful flowers. Lots of Golden Thanks for sharing. Happy Seeing Beauty. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
We have some other bushes that hide critters. I know exactly which ones!
You sure are beautiful Emma. And the flowers were nice too.
Thank you!
You look so pretty with the flowers Emma. The second photo especially looks like a good framer!
Thank you 🙂
Those are definitely beautiful flowers Emma!
Thanks Finn 🙂
I love flowers of all kinds. Those are beautiful pictures.
Thank you, we love them too, I think more so because they are only around a few months of the year!
Your flowers are beautiful, Emma. Ma wishes she had such a green thumb. I do agree that a rabbit in the middle of the garden would be fabulous! Have a wonderful weekend!

My mom seems to plant and things grow, she has no reason for the why, but it usually works. TGIF!
those snowball flowers have always been one of my faves! They are truly “Beautiful!” Happy Friday!
Thanks…and on a hot day they make you think cool!
You sure do have a pretty garden Emma – your mom has a green thumb!
You know everyone says that but all her fingers look the same color to me, maybe I really am colorblind???
Emma, you are more beautiful than the flowers! Woooowoooo, Ku
Oh, thank you 🙂
Everything here is all dried up and brown from our drought… Thanks for sharing the color! Do BEE careful sniffing those flowers too closely!
Bummer with your drought. We had a dry month in July but otherwise this summer has been ideal for plants, sun, not too hot and enough rain.
Gorg! Love those snowball flowers!
Thanks, they are super huge this year!
Those flowers sure are beautiful, but you sitting beside them is what really brings out their beauty. I think at least a couple of these are framers!
Thank you, I do look pretty decent with flowers 🙂
Those are some lovely flowers. This time of year in Texas our flowers are burned to a crisp.
I hear it is super hot and dry down there. Not my kind of weather. Hope you have a/c!
That we do! We go out and have some fun in the mornings then I spend the rest of the day sleeping in front of a fan. It is what it is.
You are seeing beautiful today Emma…your gardens are lovely and that snowball is huge
Typical MN snowball – LOL!
Your flowers are absolutely beautiful, Emma. I especially love that snowball bush. I might have to look for one of those to add to my gardens. You are right that everything is hitting it’s peak right now….I hate to think it will be going the other way soon!
This summer has been pretty awesome, meaning not so hot, so we aren’t as anxious for winter as usual.
HI EMMA WHAT BEAUTY YOU HAVE ON YOUR DECK…ENJOY EACH MOMENT

Arrrooooo!!!
Yes, those of us who live in the North certainly know how important it is to sniff the flowers when we have them. The season is oh so short.
I had a hard time, though, deciding which was prettier, the flowers or Emma. No I didn’t. It was Emma all the way. 🙂
Aww…so sweet…I think the flower just bring out beauty!
Snowball bushes! I haven’t thought about them in years. When I was little a neighbor had a gigantic one, more like a tree. Thanks for the memory. All your deck flowers a gorgeous too.
They have them as trees too 🙂 My neighbors have one.
Mom says her grandma had to giant snowball bushes behind her house and she used to love those flowers. If you ran through them, it was like being snowed on. Your photos are all lovely today, and thank you for bringing back some happy memories!
Bunny
Your welcome. We take great care not to bump them, so they stay nice. We also have some dried ones in the house in a vase…versatile flowers!
Your flowers are beautiful Emma! We have one of those snowball bushes! Mommy says it is the prettiest one that we have!
We love them. We have 3 of them, one is pink.
That last photo is SO lovely!
Thank you 🙂
Yes but fall brings its own beauty. 🙂
True and fun leaves to play in but one needs to admire the flowers this month 🙂
Beautiful Emma and beautiful flowers 🙂
