Here I am with Snoopy #11, right outside Billy’s on Grand Avenue in St. Paul. Minnesota is the state of hockey, so it is fitting to have this house dedicated to the “Miracle on Ice” team that won the Olympics in 1980. I have no idea about this hockey team but someone old as the hills like my mom will remember it she tells me! The coach, Herb Brooks, was from Minnesota. He died a couple years back in a tragic car accident.
Join in the fun at the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Love see the Snoopys. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Thanks Molly, Happy Wednesday!
To commemorate the team and coach. What’s missing is the hockey puck n stick. Happy BlogPaws WW. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
Good point!
You are to funny!!. Nice snoopy. Remember your mom could never be as old as the hills. She can be wiser, smarter,……..etc,etc. But never old π
My sister Katie is 11 and Mom says she is old but Mom is much older than 11, so I figure she is really old π
How cool…both the dog house and you, Emma – together!
Thanks!
I have never seen so many Snoopys, they are all fantastix π xxooxx
Mollie and Alfie
This is about the last one π
I am sure in years I am older than you Mom but I am sure we are both very young in heart. If your Mom can keep up with three of you I think she is very young!
She is a lot older than my 11 yr old sister and she says Katie is old, so she is really old π
That is so neat with all the names on it! Sorry to read about the coach though π
That was really sad. That I do remember since it was only a few years ago.
I am old as the hills, and I totally remember that. Very cool!
Yay! You old humans like Mom are fun!
Oh man, this is definitely up there vying for my favorite. If you want to cheat and learn about the team more you can watch the movie Miracle.
Mom remembers it well, it was huge in MN!
Those Olympics are a little before my time, but it’s a nice tribute!
Before mine too but Mom remembers it.
That is a great dog house, Emma! I once lived on Grand Central, too. Long ago.
Thanks…
Mom’s old enough she remembers. Love Dolly
π
Whee love those Snoopy’s! ^_^
Happy Wednesday
Nacho, Noah, Buddy & Basil

Thanks small friends!
Hey! My brother’s name is Mike Ramsey! There are only about a million of them floating around. π That’s a cool Snoopy. I think I liked last week’s Snoopy best of all, though.
I think there is a Snoopy for everyone!
Cool! I definitely remember watching the Miracle on Ice happen! (What are those little blue lines on Snoopy’s face?)
I think they are just battle scars from being outside and touched by humans.
When I saw the title appear in my e-mail this morning I thought of that old horror movie Lake Placid where Betty White feeds alligators or crocodiles or whatever until they reach a bizarre size. (It’s here in Florida, and allegedly one of few places where alligators and crocodiles can co-exist.) I was relieved to see that the post was about Snoopy, and not about someone being eaten. LOL!
Oh heavens, we don’t like scary things at my house, so no worries about that on my blog π
Another cool Snoopy’s dog house!
π
This is a good one….I like Snoopy in the hockey uniform. Unfortunately I have to say I remember this so I am also as old as the hills. π
I can’t imagine being older than 15-18 yrs old, so anyone over that age is ancient to a dog!
You sure snoop out the best Snoopy Dogs Emma! Thanks for the well wishes, I appreciate them and I appreciate you so much!
Even though you kitties can be real pests sometimes, I do like you and care about you. Since I don’t have to live with you, I like you even more π Get better soon!
You look so cute sitting there beside that Snoopy! I don’t know anything about that old team, but I think it’s pretty cool that someone memorialized them that way!
Bunny
I guess it was a huge deal, but especially in MN with the coach and several players coming from here.
Very cool! I don’t know anything about hockey, but I know you look great next to Snoopy’s house π
Pucks are fun to chase π
i love your snoop posts π
Thank you!
Hey Emma
I love all the Snoopy’s you find, no idea how you sniff them all out?! π
Hope you’re having a fun day π
Your pal Snoopy π
I’m a hound, that’s the secret!
I’m a big fan of snoopy, he is the coolest guy of all the peanuts! Do you need a special code to open the door of snoopy’s house?
Unfortunately, the door is just for looks, it is not a real door π
I’m old enough to remember about the Miracle On Ice team, but don’t really remember any details. And I truthfully don’t know a woofin’ thing about hockey. That Snoopy house is a great tribute to the team, though.
#11, huh? How many more Snoopys do you have to go? Or are you still researching them?
That is about it, there are supposedly a few more but they are either a long drive or no longer where they should be.
That is a cool Snoopy house. It looks a bit worn though…lol. I remember that team. When they won, it was really something. π
I hear it was a big deal, Mom remembers it.
