7 years ago today I left my furry parents and siblings in England and went home with my new mom. It was a frightening day, but it did not take me long to realize I had a wonderful new home. Happy 7th Gotcha Day to me! (Yes, that was me 7 years ago today, my colors faded.)

I just remembered I had a dream about you last night Emma! I was babysitting you and we were out for a walk and there were all these big dogs around, but you didn’t care, you just went right up to them and barked in their face! And then you turned into Bailie and I picked you up because I was afraid…and that was the end. Too funny – I Just remembered when I came to your page and saw your pics! Happy Gotcha Day!
LOL! Dreams can be so strange! I do sometimes bark in big dogs faces…then I send Katie in to save my furry behind 🙂

Some of us fade, some don’t. Her parents were darker, so we hope she stays a bit darker. I am also more black on my back spots and she is more brown, so we aren’t complete twins.

Bailie is a lot like I was but she is more dark brown, where I am/was black, so I don’t think we will ever be too much the same. We hope she doesn’t fade too much.

Oh, happy Gotcha Day, Emma! Wow – lucky number 7! (It’s funny how some dogs fade from their puppy colors. Our beagle had a black heart shape around her face as a pup and jet black ears – she eventually faded out to the normal brown head/ears of a beagle and only black on her back.)
It is hard to believe those are my puppy pics since I faded so much. We will see if Bailie fades or stays more dark.

Heck no, seven is not old at all…I’m not a huge dog, so seven is a good age. Mom says I still have my spunk but am pretty well behaved.
