I need your booties, I hurt my pads on the stones on the beach. I need some of your snow Em 🙂 xxooxxx
Mollie and Alfie
The shoes keep us from getting snowballs between our pads and no burning from the nasty salt on the street.
you both look so adorable in your boots! Happy Wordless Wednesday!!
Thanks, fashionable wabbit hunters!
Morning!
Hi, Thanks for hopping by!
Hope ya don’t get more snow. You’d be lost until the spring thaw!
We have gotten a bit more, but we want a big storm. We love the snow.
I love your matching boots!
PAWZ have a different color for every size, so since we are medium, we are blue, Katie has large, so purple.
I see, I just thought your mum had decided you two should match!
She does like us to match but we do wish we could choose any color. Blue is what we get!
Looks like fun! Mom says she should have taken me out after it warmed up to 15deg and almost a foot of new snow! Maybe today! Love Dolly
We bound like wabbits through the deep snow. It wears us out, but it sure is fun!
They are so cute with that adorable small boots.
They keep those painful ice and snowballs from forming between our pads.
Those booties are just so cute. Stay warm. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
We find them a bit embarrassing but they do feel good, so we wear them.
We had 12inches of snow in Manhattan and 6 inches of salt. There is no where to walk. Those look like good boots. Where did you get them?
PAWZ they are called. All the pet stores around here sell them, even Target has them. They come in 12 packs and are around $16. The look like balloons, but they are great. We don’t mind wearing them at all. Every size is a certain color, blue is medium, Katie has purple for large. They are perfect for injured paws too, so we always have some on hand and in the spring they are usually on clearance, so we stock up. Normally we get a few walks out of one set.
You girls look like snow angels! I bet those boots help keep the ice from between your toes, too! I’m on walking restriction because I sliced up my pads during my run at the dog park. Phooey!
Bunny
Ouch, that sounds painful! Hope you heal up quickly. The shoes keep those painful snow and ice balls off our paws!
They look so adorable and sweet on that 6 inches of fresh snow 🙂
We just love it!
Love the booties. Emma, you look a little bored by the whole thing.
I wanted to keep on moving, not take a break!
Love your matching pawz. Looks like a you guys had a great walk!
We did and I had some sore muscles after an hour of bounding through the snow.
Looks like you guys saw/smelled something interesting! What was it? 🙂 By the way, ice booties!
Wabbits…they always hide under Pine trees!
I wish I’d been there with you!
Minnesota is a great place for a dog like you!
You two are so cute and I love your pawz!
Thank you 😉
Emma, you both look too cute in your PawZ! Did you really smell a rabbit?!? if so, you know I am jealous!!
Happy WW,
Oz
There are so many wabbits around, I know there was one under that tree before we got there and Bailie had it in her nose.
The pawz stick out like a….ummmmm…sore dew claw! All the light colors and there are your blue pawz, but we are so happy that you have them to protect your feet from the snow balls and salt. it is chilly here (by Florida standards) and I do not like cold! XOXO a shivering Panda the Boston
There is only one color for each size, so we are blue. They really help us keep from getting snow and ice balls, and that is the main thing.
Like the matching digs. But Bailie, where is your other leg? I can only count three!
I think we sold it to buy more snacks 😉 Or maybe she was sitting on it?
A worthy trade in Eko’s opinion!
Super CUTE in your Pawz! I don’t think I could get Daisy to walk in the snow…she’s freaking out just at cool, windy Florida weather LOL!
Most dogs love it once they figure out what it is all about.
can you send me the wabbit? Or can you tell me where you saw it?
We have so many wabbits around our area, you can find one just about anywhere 🙂
Emma, that must be a wonderful place :o)
Hey Emma – Leo and I can’t seem to grasp the bootie thing. We will wear the snowsuits but can’t rock the booties. They look good on you though – Harley
We don’t mind PAWZ at all, we don’t like the other kinds of boots, though. Thought of you guys again yesterday when we were playing in our tunnel.
They are definitely picking up the scent with noses on “high alert!” Very smart to wear booties in all of that snow plus, a clever way to disguise your puppy tracks. The Wabbits will be so surprised to discover those tracks belong to you!
We got lots of snow too! I need to get some booties like that for Luna. Hope you enjoyed your walk!
We had a blast!
Booties are sooo sensible! I am glad you wear them. So nice for not getting the snow between your toes!
They are a must if we want to do some serious snow walking and playing!
I see why you would want to take a pit stop!
It was more of an idea from Mom, we were having a blast romping through the fresh snow!
That is a wonderful picture and I love your collars. Brown dawgs would break those cute collars…lol.
Mom has always had these kind of collars, even her 100lb lab/newf mix had one. There has been a ton of pulling, etc, but they have (paws crossed) never broken. We also wash them in the washing machine and it hasn’t caused any issues.
I can’t tell you how many collars brown dawgs have destroyed: leather, nylon and chain. I think it is their powerful shoulders. All they have to do is lunge at the right moment and…
One time Storm broke a chain collar at a hunt test. Maybe the link was weak because she broke a link in half! You will appreciate this: since then we buy chains made in Germany.
What? Made in Germany quality failed! I won’t tell the Germans!
No no the made in Germany is the good kind and all we buy…lol. The other chains are crap.
Oops, now I get it…whew, German quality stays intact!
Matching boots, matching leashes – can’t quite tell if the collars match too, but in any case, it’s always best to deal with inclimate weather by looking awesome.
It’s not what you do, it is all about how you look 😉
You two are so cute! Love the pretty snow. Did you get to see a wabbit? 😉
No actual wabbits on that walk…squirrels, though. We live in a big wabbit area, so we are always smelling them and often see them too.
Yay for fresh snow! I bet you really enjoyed getting out there for a long walk. You both look so cute with your Pawz on! Bailie looks like she is getting almost as big as you now, Emma.
She has about 10 lbs of filling out to do and then we will be even 🙂
LOVE your matching PawZ. I bet it makes it easy and safer to walk. Happy BP Wordless Wednesday. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
No paw freeze when we cross a street and it keeps ice and snow clumps from forming between our pads. We only wear them for fresh snow and extreme cold but they work great!
Today was the first time I wished I had booties for Toby! They are cute, good to know they work.
We don’t mind wearing the either. They don’t help keep paws warm, but they protect them from salt, chemicals and snowballs.
Have fun ladies! I just saw some wabbits in the yard earlier today.
Oh man! We would love to come and chase them!
It’s great you have pawz so you can play longer in the snow.
Exactly, no painful snowballs.
What angels…I just adore your cute little booties!
Thank you 🙂
That looks like pretty good whiffin’ you two!
We could tell the wabbits had recently been there!
Are you sure it was wabbits? I know yesterday was Squirrel Appreciation Day, so maybe there was a big squirrel party in your ‘hood?
You girls sure look adorable in your purple pawz!
The photo was from Saturday, but my squirrel friend fat Fred was at my feeder yesterday for his “special” day. We barked and howled at him!
With well protected feet it looks like! Oh I just can’t imagine all that cold (making me think about my daughter in Minneapolis).
I guess she is enjoying the arctic weather this week too. We don’t mind, except the bitter cold keeps us from taking long walks but we love the winter.
6 inches!? Dang! We only got a dusting! Hope you guys are enjoying the snow 🙂
Yep, we tend to get lots of that stuff and we love it, especially when it is light and fluffy!
Beautiful picture, and lucky for that wabbit, you appear to be frozen in place. 🙂
No kidding, wabbits are always surprised by our speed and agility…then I catch them and surprise over!
Yay snow! If you smell wabbit in that cold stuff, those nose work classes must really be working. 🙂
We have our heads under the snow lots of times sniffin’ for critters. As scent hounds, we have serious sniffing instincts!
