Hanging out and relaxing in Gramma’s kitchen!
I wonder if that pesty Ground Hog sees his shadow today or not? I sure would love to be there to great him when he pops out of his hole in the ground, but Mom says that would not be good. Bummer!
One little note. I’m howling with excitement because a UK website called A Blog From My Dog actually mentioned my blog as one of their most recommended fun sites to visit. Remember I am from the UK, so that makes it extra special. Stop by and have a sniff around their site.
I amΒ joining the Black and White Sunday Blog Hop sponsored by Dachshund Nola and Sugar the Golden Retriever. Sometimes photos are simply more fun in black and white!
We’d sure love to chase a ground hog too. Nice for the shout out for you. Have a serene Sunday and enjoy some big easy today.
Best wishes Molly
I would prefer a wabbit or tree rat, but a ground hog could be fun π
I wish you’d get that pesky groundhog too, Emma. I just heard that he saw his shadow. π
We want some more winter, so we are happy he saw his shadow, just don’t want the bitter cold anymore.
I agree….we don’t mind some more winter either, as long as we get some snow and not more of the bitter cold! We supposedly have a big storm coming this week….fingers crossed.
Paws crossed for snow for you! We are going to be cold, but not quite as cold. Only single digits below zero.
Emma, you are international! Whether in color or black and white you are a beauty! Have a “super” Sunday at grandma’s! XOXO Panda the Boston
Thank you! Have a super Sunday at your house!
I see your shadow, Emma. Wonder if that means anything…
(Congratulations on your international stardom!)

The ground hog saw his too. Yay! More winter! Just hope it isn’t as cold as it has been.
So happy for you! So cool!
Thanks!
I love to hang out in Grandma’s kitchen too! Great picture! Love Dolly
Grammas are a bit like mini humans. They drop lots of stuff or leave things on the counter for us surfers to grab.
I was waiting the whole afternoon, but no groundhog here… bet they are on the way to the superbowl. Congratulations Emma, I agree, your blog is really one of the bestest dog blogs!!!
Thank you! I don’t know where to find those darn ground hogs around here and with so much snow, I doubt they come out much in the winter!
Beautiful shot Emma. Is today groundhog day?
It sure is and he saw his shadow…Yay! More winter is coming!
Found a sun puddle. Scooby my chihuahua brother loves those.
Happy ground hog day!
Bailie and I love the sun, Katie looks for the shade.
You made me chuckle..
Go get that ground hog. We have had enough winter!
π Sorry, more winter, but we wanted some more, just not so cold hopefully.
Congrats on the shout out Emma! What an honor!
I have to agree with mom, it would not be good for you to be near Mr. Groundhog. I suspect he might never make a shadow again if you were. π
You are correct. I don’t mean to be cruel, but it is my instinct. At least no one would worry about the shadow part!
That looks like a great sun spot… I hope you’re enjoying it!
It was toasty warm!
Wilhelm also wanted to “help” when the groundhog came out of his hole, Emma. It would be “fun” since groundhogs are much smaller than badgers! π
Give Wilhelm my number. We can make plans for next year π
We sure hope that goofy groundhog is wrong!
We want more winter at our house, so you can send the weather to me π
Yay for your shoutout! Your blog is super nifty, so it’s well deserved.
Kitchen sunpuddles are the best, aren’t they? All nice and warm, and right where all the foods are!
Exactly! The kitchen is an ideal spot to hang out and stay warm!
How Pawsome Emma! It’s so nice to be recognized π You guys are definitely very fun to visit. I did nominate you for Best Dog Blog too.
Thank you, appreciate it!
Congratulations! We think your blog is awesome! We got some snow today but not much. We wish that if it was going to snow that it would snow lots! Have a great Sunday!
We were really happy with our last load of about seven inches of fluff. Maybe you will get more?
How pawsome. You guys are famous all the way to UK. Have a nice day.
Especially since I was born in the UK and my dog parents are still there it means a lot to me π
Such a cute photo!
Thank you π
BOL! Yeah, that might not be good for the groundhog. ;P
Such a sweet photo! I hope you had a lovely day today. π
I think a ground hog is a critter, so it would be bad for him since I hunt critters and I am good!
I bet grandma sneaks you treats while you are hanging out in her kitchen, doesn’t she?
Never! But we know where the treats are and if she goes in that closet, look out Gramma!
Emma, I hope your grandma spoiled you rotten. Congratulations on the recognition from your homeland! : )
Gramma does spoil us pretty well. Imagine that she was not even an animal person until Mom came along and forced all kinds of pets on her! She does pretty well with us all and has really adjusted well since the days when Mom was little.
What’s Grandma making? We have sunshine today too and tomorrow … then another round of SNOW. It feels like we are in MN. Hope you guys had a PAWsome Sunday. Golden Woofs
Katie is sick, so lots of cleaning going on at our place, but Sunday was nice. We enjoyed lots of walks in the nice weather.
Emma that looks like the perfect place to wait for the groundhog prediction. The sun makes it look pretty and cozy π
It was nice there and I do love lying in the sunshine.
I bet Grandma’s kitchen smells good Emma π π Have a super Sunday xxxoxxx
Mollie and Alfie
She always has good stuff and sometimes forgets about my counter surfing…you know what that means π
Looks like you found a nice sunny spot. π
I love the sunshine.
