Mom is a Realtor, so I can tell you this much – a twinhome is two homes with separate entrances that share a common wall.
Today, I’m joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws today! Don’t forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
Lovely photos!
Yes, but do they come with central heat? 🙂
We supply our own heat, Mom calls it centralized body heat whatever that is. I know the snow acts as insulation.
That is adorable. Hope the neighbors get along. 🙂
As long as my sister doesn’t howl late at night we should be good.
An igloo/ice cave duplex! Pawsome! Did you dig those all by yourselves? XOX Panda the Boston
Mom helped us out but we did some of the digging – sweat equity they call it 😉
Best picture of the day!
Thanks! It is my only picture today 🙂
Looks like a doggie igloo in Alaska!
🙂
Hap-Pee WindsDay!
It is actually warmer in Alaska this winter than here in Minnesota, so the igloo builders moved south to Minnesota 😉
Super cute!!!!
Thanks!
Can a Katie and I move in with you. Do you think there is room?
We have a couple more lots if you would like to build a new twinhome next door? There isn’t room for more than one in a house half.
In Chicago we call it a two-flat or a duplex! Cute picture! Love Dolly
We have duplexes too but they are different from twinhomes. Duplexes are usually in the city, not sure what the difference is, but they are basically the same.
That is too adorable! And your mom was certainly lucky to get both of you posing so nicely at once;)
Bailie and I both love to pose and get photos taken, so it was pretty easy.
Just fantastic and so clever! Now…how do you have the time to make snow forts???? lol!!!
Mom loves to play in the snow and we are fun to play with, so we built these together on the weekend.
How cute is that! And you guys look right at home.
Thanks, we love our twinhomes!
What a great doggy duplex. If I didn’t have to clean my house for my students to do a home inspection, I’d definitely create one of my own.
Ohh, or maybe I should build a duplicate of my own house and not bother with cleaning. Thanks for the great idea, Emma. 🙂
I would build the duplicate or build one like ours, not much cleaning needed.
Emma, are you sure that is a true twinhome…and not an igloo? I don’t think igloos come in twinhome style, but I could be wrong. 🙂
Happy WW,
Oz
I think it is the latest rage in Antartica um, I mean Minnesota!
OMD that pic is so cute. You really are having tons of the white stuff. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
We have piles and piles if you want to come over and build.
That is awesome! Have fun in the snow!
We are having a blast.
Too CUTE! How long did it take you to build that? Have Lots of FUN! Golden Woofs
Thanks! It was pretty quick because the piles of snow were there, and then Mom helped out with a lot of the digging. We love them, lots of fun, but we don’t like to share them.
Lol! Love it! 🙂 The expressions are really what make this picture. By the way, are twinhomes the same thing as townhouse?
Thank you! Townhomes are normally more than two in a row, but same basic thing.
Double the cuuuwoooowoooteness!
🙂
I think mom should pose you two in front of all of her listings. Those houses will move like hot cakes!
As long as it isn’t too hot! Our twinhomes will melt! Also, no boys allowed because they might pee on the walls – LOL!
Ten-year-old me is jealous of your awesome snow fort!
My eleven year old sister isn’t interested, but we sure love them!
That is awesome!
Thanks!
Hahahaha twin igloos 🙂
It’s great because we don’t have to share, we each have our own. You would look great in one!
Haha! Very cute! That’s definitely a twin home if I ever saw one.
Thanks, we are quite happy with them.
That looks like a lot of fun!
It was fun helping to build them and now we love to play in them!
That is so awesome! No wonder you love winter so much, Emma, you really get out there and have fun in the snow!
Mom loves it too because she can behave like a kid again with us. It is hard to keep her out of our twinhomes, though.
Wow! An igloo duplex! You must be the coolest mom on the block!!
Our neighbors think she is the oddest mom on the block but we don’t care, she is lots of fun!
You two are snow cute!
Thanks!
Fun! I made Pierson a snow dog house last year, but it didn’t look anything like that. Now that we got a ton of snow last night, perhaps I should try to make a bigger and better snow dog house. 🙂
Just start digging low and make sure to keep the roof and walls nice and thick. We dig some on the bottom and leave the top part for Mom to do.
Remarkable.
Love it 😀
Thanks, we are having fun with the snow!
Nice digs, girls! BOL
The only thing missing is a set of front doors!
Cool house you got there! Literally. ;P You two are so cute.
We save money on refrigeration costs for sure!
Cute duplex, er, dog-plex. Hope we’re invited to the house-warming pawrty!
We may have a house cooling party, a house warming could destroy the place 😉
You two are so cute!
Thanks!
We saw this photo on fb and liked it! I love it! It is such a perfect shot!!!
Every time i visit your blog it always makes me smile! 🙂 so i am subscribing through email! LOL
((husky hugz))
Frum da pack at Love is being owned by a husky
Thank you! I want to spread smiles and laughter along with some knowledge at times, I think it is working 🙂
It looks like deluxe accommodations to me! Are you both going to start decorating soon?
Bunny
We have to hurry before spring arrives!
What a cute photo!
Thank you!
Sounds like a duplex! You guys look so cute in your icy little igloo houses!
Thanks, they are ideal for a Minnesota winter.
Very clever – nice igloo!
Now we are wondering if we may be GBGV Eskimo dogs?
I cannever get enough of your pictures Emma! Always make me smile!
Thanks, love to bring smiles and laughter 🙂
I love it! Is there a Jack and Jill bathroom, too 😉
LOL! No, we have to go outside to use the bathroom. Evidently, there are issues with warm fluids and stuff causing damage in an igloo twinhome.
In the northeast we call them duplexes. But my twins will be delighted to learn they were raised in a twinhome!
Duplexes and twin homes are a bit different here in Minnesota but they are basically the same. We see most duplexes in the city as they are homes that are being used to house two families, but twins in a twinhome sure sounds fun!
OMD, that’s the funniest thing i’ve ever seen. love, love, love. props to your mom for her creativeness.
wags, bailey unleashed
Mom wanted to play in the snow, but she is too old for that, so she decided to play with us and do something she loved to do as a kid 🙂 It was lots of fun!
I absolutely love this picture!
You should make at least one for the boys. it would need to be big, but with all the snow this year, you must have a pile somewhere.
Two funny!!!!
🙂
What an adorable photo!
Thank you!
Looks like an awesomely fun twinhome Emma!
They are great and we love to hang out in them.
Hey girls love your winter home – tell me, where’s the mini-bar?
Um…we have plenty of ice…how about if the boys bring the drinks?
