Hi Friends! I am dead dog worn out. Training Bailie to pass her Obedience Class was a lot of work, so today I’m putting my paws up and letting little sis Bailie write her very first blog post! After all she is the one that experienced it all, so who better to write about it than her? I will be back tomorrow baking some yummy Valentine Luvcakes! Take it away, Bailie!
Bailie here at the keyboard for the very first time. I can’t believe my sister let me actually have my own post! I have the most exciting news to share with you! My class was cancelled twice because of our cold weather, but finally on February 6th, I got to take my exams and I passed Obedience 1! I was howling like a hound the whole night! I wasn’t perfect, but I went from class clown and most likely to fail to one of the best in the class. I did an awesome job and Mom was super proud. Emma was along and got to watch from a distance. She didn’t have to growl to correct me even one time! My strengths were rather unusual, down, and down/stay. Now I can finally relax and work on fun stuff like Nose Work.
Emma posted about my training a bit ago – how I was going to all kinds of places, including Mom’s office, to work on my obedience skills. Well, I tell you, I was seriously working like a dog. I had to go to the office three mornings a week for an entire month. What puppy does that? It was rough working at the computer, pawing through files, barking to banks on the phone!
Sometimes I had to put my paws down and insist on a union break!
I had to help out with the copy machine. That thing sure holds a lot of paper to chew on!
There was a really complicated binding machine that I had to use to assemble reports. I was all paws with that. When I finished, it looked like a disaster area!
Since Mom had to use our computer a lot of the time, I sometimes had to settle for one in the other room, but it had a nice big monitor. When no one was around I would google “wabbit” and look at all those larger than life wabbit photos. I got caught, though, drooling on the keyboard, and that was not a good thing.
Thank you to all of Emma’s friends and fans that sent me encouragement and positive vibes for my obedience exams. Now this pup is going to curl up for a nap and give this job back to Emma.
I’m joining in the Monday Mischief blog hop brought to you by Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog, My Brown Newfies.
Congratulations Bailie! And Emma, I’m glad to see you’re getting some rest. Puppies are exhausting and so is all of that office work!
It was quite the project but we are all super proud that Bailie did really well in the end.
Yes a good nap is in order after all that office work. Congratulations Bailie on passing Obedience 1. Well done you. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
Bailie says thanks. She is looking forward to staying home this week.
Congratulations, Bailie! You’ve done a great job! Most likely to fail? Rubbish. I bet Emma is proud of you and all your hard work. =)
The Internet holds a lot of wabbits, but you’ve worked so hard I think you deserve taking breaks with some wabbit photos.
Bailie was a real mess the first few classes. Mom was surprised she did not get kicked out. She was like trying to tame a wild bull, but then we all got involved with helping her out and Bailie started to get it.
We are all so proud of you Bailie! Well done. Off to Westminster to look at all the PBGVs Have a good day! Hi Emma!
Can’t wait for the day when they have GBGVs…hopefully in a couple years. We are close!
We knew you could do it! Good job Bailie!
We are proud of her for sure!
Congratulations Bailie! That is awesome and now you and Emma deserve a nice long nap!
Lots of napping planned around here…with some nose work homework, but that is fun.
Congratulations Bailie – we all knew you could do it – you have such good teachers in Emma, Katie & of course your mom! And well done on your first blog post!
Bailie was exhausted after her tests and the blog was a lot for her too. She is happy to be done for now.
Hooray and congrats! i knew you could do it!
We all figured she could do it, but whether or not she would do it was the question.
Hard work pays off, nice job! I never doubted you for a minute. Congrats.
She was impressive and we are really proud of her.
Is there nothing more beautiful than a “P or GBGV” at rest like Emma…and Bailie after she finished her blog? BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Bailie!! Atta girl! 🙂 In ONE week I fly direct flight to Duluth, pick up my Sparkle at the boarding area, and 45 minutes later leaving to head directly back to Orlando. I am so excited. Panda not writing today. I am. Betsy 🙂
The weather should be warmer, so good you are not coming til next week. Can’t wait to see and hear all about her!
Well done you on doing so well in your class and your first post! I see a weekly ‘Bailies Barks’ in your future!
Oh boy, don’t give her any ideas 🙂
Congratulations on passing your exam! If there was a superlative for “most adorable!” I am sure you would have won that as well as passing your exam!
Thank you! I kind of know I’m cute and that can get me into trouble 😉
That was a great post.. But don’t worry Emma I am your number 1 fan next to grandma..
Thanks Elvis! Sometimes it is good to just take a break for a day 🙂
WooHoo!! Wild paw clapping and a couple of howls being sent your way from Bentley & Pierre. We knew that you could do it and you wrote a great post. I hope you were receiving at least “minimum wags” for your three day work week!
My sisters were jealous that I got to go to work. I think they forgot how stressful the office can be!
Bailey you did a PAWsome job. Please let Emma know she was missed but we’d sure like to hear from you again real soon.
I don’t plan on making blogging a habit, that is Emma’s thing. I will just help her out sometimes.
Oh wow! Congrats! You definitely deserve some rest!
Have a great day!

Thank you! It sure was a lot of learning work, but I did it.
Good job Bailie!! I knew you had it in you, now on to bigger and better things!!
That’s right, and Mom has lots of things planned…ugh…
No wonder your tired Emma, we are sure little Bailie is a rascal BOL.. Well done Baillie WooHooooo. We had intruders the weekend, so wez all behind. They did play ball with me though 🙂 xxoxxxx

Yikes, intruders! Did someone fall asleep on your watch patrol?
Well now I really understand “workin’ like a dog.” Good for you Bailie! Pawsome job!

Working like a dog is truly exhausting!
Congrats Bailie!
Thanks!
Goodness, I hope you are paid well for all that hard work! Good idea to google Wabbits. If you get another chance, maybe try googling bacon. Congrats on passing your class!!
Maybe just food in general, I am food obsessed!
Congratulations Bailie! You earned it! Love seeing you at work with your Mom. Looks like you work hard there. 😉
It was hard work, no time for sloughing off there!
Hooray Bailie, ya sure done good! Now you can both take a nice snooze!
Behave like a couple of cats for a few days you mean?
Way to go passing the class!!!!!
Thank you!
HUGH congrats to you Bailey and mom. And so nice of Emma to let you tell your story with great pictures. Love it!
Thank you. Mom said if we really worked hard I could do it and I did.
Roooo Bailee – well done on passing your exams! *Waggy tail* Now you can get onto more impawtant things like nose work and guarding the house. And Bailee, do you think you could send me the links to those wabbit photos? Only for research photos, of course! *waggy tail*
Thank you! I would Alfie, but I don’t have any email address. Only Emma has one. Mom says I’m too young for that 🙁
Way to go Bailee!
Thank you!
Hey Bailie
Big congrats on passing your class buddy! I’m not surprised a student of Emma’s is doing so well! Emma love that pic of you zonked out, it’s so cool you’re apprentice is now able to take a bit of work off your paws!
Hope you’re having a fun day
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
I have to get that girl’s attitude adjusted a bit. She doesn’t have the right work ethic just yet, but I’m working on it!
Great job and congratulations to you both! I agree a nice long snooze is the next best step.
Thanks! We are all happy to have that hurdle behind us.
Congratulations, Bailie! Emma must be impressed with you to let you blog for yourself!
Since it was all about me, she figured if I messed up, no big deal.
