I was recently contacted by The Petter to review their pet planner. My sisters and I are busy dogs, so I said sure, we could use something to help us keep track of our schedules. I especially liked their tag line “Because Your Pet Has A Life Too”.
My Petter Planner arrived it was really cute and fun looking which fit our family well. I couldn’t wait to take a look inside to see what it was all about!
The front has a page with two big pockets where you can put your important documents. I stuck my ribbon in there just for fun. The first calendar pages are really fun as they have a list of important pet websites, and holidays – not just the big ones either, but things like National Puppy Day, Love Your Pet Day, stuff pet people and bloggers can really use.
The calendar days have plenty of room to write down several events or activities. They also have mind boggling quotes and facts about animals on top of the pages. On the right side there are Post It notes, a Post It note pad and orange page markers so you can flag important dates like my birthday!
The back of the calendar section has a place for up to five pets to list pet info, space for important contacts such as your vet or dog school, a place to put in your pet’s family tree, and a place for notes or scrapbook items.
With three dogs and two cats in our house, this is ideal to keep track of when we need to go to the vet, take medicines like heart worm or tick repellant, school dates and our general information like chip number, AKC registration, medications, medical history, etc. The thing that Mom and I thought it would be perfect for is when we have a pet sitter. Mom always tries to make notes about everything, but she could just leave The Petter for the sitter and all the information is right there if she should need it. We have our calendar on the phone and computer, but there is something about having a calendar in your paws that is just nice and this one is ideal if you have pets.
The Petter has offered to let me give away one planner to one of my readers! Simply follow the instructions on the rafflecopter to enter. Contest is open until midnight central time on February 16, 2014. Entrants must be at least 18 years old and have a mailing address in the USA. Winner will be notified by email, if winner does not respond within 24 hours, a second winner will be chosen.
Disclosure:
The Petter sent My GBGV Life The Petter to review. I did not receive monetary compensation for this review and giveaway. These are my own opinions based on how I felt about the product. You must be 18 years of age or older to enter and the prize will only be sent to mailing addresses in the USA. The Petter will ship the prize directly to the winner, I am not responsible for missing or lost prizes.
What a cool product and great giveaway! We’re country dogs, so our social life probably doesn’t compare to yours!
We have classes, photo appts, groomers, and the vet, so for all five it can be a lot of stuff. Mom says she is almost as busy with us as moms with mini humans and activities.
That is just the best planner ever. Love your pix. Don’t include us as we are not in the USA. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
You need to move over the pond so you can win more stuff π I survived moving over it!
Thanks, Molly! And a big hello from us across the pond! π
Katie has a busier life then I do. It would be great to keep track of all her play dates. I think the best thing, as you said, is when you travel.. All instructions in one place. Emma, as usual, you look adorable!
Thank you. I tried to look a bit Valentiney for this week. It is a fun planner for sure.
The Petter is perfect for play dates, and traveling, as you and Emma mentioned! Good luck!
Jack has such a busy social life, I think he definitely needs one of these.
I have to see if there is a spot to list his girlfriends…maybe on the contact pages π So many females are looking for a lab type with six pack doggy abs!
Pets + social life = The Petter! And yes, there’s room for Jack’s lady friends. As Emma mentioned, there are contact pages in the back of the planner to keep phone numbers, addresses, emails, etc. Good luck!
As always, Emma, you are beautiful. I am going to check into the planner with little Sparkle arriving on Monday. Something I need with 4 special poopers. XOXO Betsy
Very true…and speaking of poopers…remember puppies poop like 5-6 times a day, so stock up on the bags!
LOL!!! I bet that reminder was from Emma talking about Bailie!
Sister rivalry…we have so much fun, but I get really mad at her too!
The Petter would be great for your 4 poopers! Lol! Good luck Betsy (and Panda)!
That’s the most important thingy on earth, Emma. I sadly live on the wrong side of the pond, but with that planner you are the best-organized dog ever. Thanks for a super review and for fabulous photos!
Thanks…you can move over to the US, it is simple, my sister and Katie did it, then you can win more stuff!
I wish we could :o)
This is such a great idea, especially for multi dog families. There are so many things that I find that I need to write down now and although I can make note in my phone, once I silence the reminder, it’s forgotten.
It is really nice, we love it.
Thanks, Kimberly! The Petter is perfect for multi-dog families…it really helps owners keep everything straight. Good luck!
I would love to have that planner! I leave sticky notes everywhere. Maybe with a planner for the dogs, I would be a little bit more organized!
Enter to win, it would keep your dogs organized!
The Petter would be a great tool to help you get more organized! Good luck!
Wow! A place to keep track of all my important information? And it has orange stickers? Where do I sign up? By the way, Emma you look just precious in that first photo! LOVE it.
*Cairn cuddles*
Oz
Thank you Oz, I try to look professional for serious reviews π Enter, maybe you can win. Even if you don’t need a planner you can keep the post eats and eat/shred the rest LOL!
No shredding allowed! LOL! Good luck, Oz! π
That’s such a great tool in a multiple dog household! I have my phone calendar too, but as you said there is nothing like a calendar in front of you!
And one just for the dogs and if you leave them with a sitter all the info is right there.
Exactly, Jodi! Emma’s right…pet sitters love it because they have all your pet’s important info in one place. Good luck!
That’s a great idea, especially for you guys who are so busy.
Mom says she feels like a mini human mom lately with all our activities!
i could use his since i have 3 little girls to keep track of
We are three girls and it works for us π
So sweet! It would be perfect for your 3 girls! Good luck, Sandy!
Gosh! I have two girls, Tiffini and Daisy, with very busy schedules! Grooming appts. Play dates. All the things that young girls do. This would be a great help to keep them both organized!
Ideal! We have lots of classes and appts to keep track of.
Emma’s right, The Petter is very ideal for keeping track of Tiffini & Daisy’s schedules! Good luck, Carol!
Ahhhh poop! Lol U.S only eh? That looks like a pawsome product! I’ll have to see if I can find one! I think it’s a great idea to keep track of your pets life!
Great post!

Frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky
I know, having lived in Europe many years I understand the frustration. Now very happy to be back in the US although we do miss all the doggy freedoms in Germany!
Hi Jenna & Mark! Greetings from across the pond! And don’t fret…The Petter is available at ThePetter.com!
That looks like it would be great for the pups to track all of the important stuff – how many treats did they get today, where did that find that special smelly spot, etc. I think they need one!
You can keep track of just about anything you want π
Emma’s right! Keep track of everything, smelly spots included! π Good luck, Heidi!
Pawesome review! Mama’s interview at Paws To Talk had Petter interview before it today! Wooohoooowoooooo!
That is cool. It is a super fun and useful calendar.
Hi Kuruk! Loved your mama’s interview on Paws 2 Talk!! So honored to be on the same show as her!!
That is very cool, but we’re not much into planning…except for meal time!
For cats, we just got a rubber stamp that said nap time and put it on most of the time slots!
What a cool planner! It would be great since Bentley has a hard time typing events into my cellphone! BOL!
I’m all paws with those tiny cellphone keys myself LOL!
Lol! Bentley would love The Petter! Good luck, M.K.!
Something like this could stop our Momma from using bad words when she looks at her calendar…
Now that would be a good thing! What bad words are you talking about…bath, time out, stuff like that?
Yes, The Petter is THE cure for all bad words…Lol! Good luck, Cathy! π
These do look pretty cool Emma! I’m sure it’s going to help you stay organized with your busy life π
It does help because we sure have a lot going on these days!
What a super cute idea! With 3 fur babies this should would help keep them in line!
We are three dogs and two cats, so it is great!
The Petter would be furbulous for your 3 fur babes! Good luck, Stacey!
Those glasses are just too cute on you!
Kind of red for Valentines Day/Week π
That looks like a great idea for a busy pet family like yours! Love the photos too! Love Dolly
Exactly!
That looks like a pretty handy dandy item! Me and Walker have our schedules down pretty pat. But sometimes the Mom Person gets confused so something like this might help her keep things straight.
My mom always thinks she has it all in her head, but there is too much these days, so she needs to write it down.
Human brains are just full of too much stuff.
True!
Hi Emma, My contest has ended and I picked my winner but I am asking those who entered my contest to enter yours for a second chance. I sure hope that is Okay.
Wags
Carma Poodale
That is awesome! The more the merrier π
Hi again Emma, Bentley has a valentine’s Day card for you but we don’t have your email. Would you send it to us at thereturns7@gmail.com please!
Just sent it to you π
Looks great – hope my birthday will make it in *subtle hint!*
Did you happen to notice that I mentioned my birthday in the post? Wink, wink…
Already in my diary ;0)
What a cool idea! I sure could use help staying organized!
We just seem to keep adding to our schedules, so this is a great way to keep track of things!
Thank you! Good luck!!
What a great idea! Love it! Thanks for the give away!
Your dogs are busy like we are, so I’m sure you have lots to keep track of and you have kitty cat too. It works for up to five pets, so you would be covered.
This is so cool! I always have a calendar posted by my desk where I write down when the pets need their meds, when I clipped their nails, etc., and we’ve been tracking Luke’s weight on there to see how fast he is growing. I love planners….they make me feel so much more organized, and I could sure use that these days!
Thanks, Jan! I love planners, too! The Petter is perfect for keeping track of all you mentioned…everything from medical history to grooming. Good luck!
Well, let’s hope you win one or you will need to order one!
I am fascinating by this thing, even though Silas’s “busy” calendar is more like “laze on the sofa.” I do like to keep records of what kind of training we do on which day, and I never could wrap my head around digital calendars.
We just don’t seem to connect with the digital calendars as well as we do one that is in our paws either. This one has so many great uses!
Ok, those pictures are the CUTEST! We have lots of classes, shows and appointments to keep track of! And I just started a pet sitting business so this could help keep all that straight too!
Aren’t those pics the cutest?! Emma is so fashionable. The Petter is a perfect fit for keeping track of all the events and your pet sitting business! Good luck, Jenna!
Thank you! It is great for keeping track of all sorts of stuff from appts, to medical stuff, important contacts, etc.
We have a dozen animals!! It’s crazy here with 9 dogs & 3 cats! Would be great to track everything π
A dozen animals is a lot. We are crazy enough with just five – three dogs, two cats! You really need a Petter!
A full house! Emma’s right, you really do need one! Good luck!
This is a fabulous tool fur any pet owner! Terrific idea!
It really is, even if you just have one house cat you need to keep track of vet appts, possible medicines, other important numbers, etc.
Thank you!! Good luck!
That is really cool Emma, and you’re right…it does seem like a perfect match for you and your family. It’s all about the fun (and getting to class on time)!
With three dogs and two cats of my own, I’d sure love to win one of those too…so I’m going to try for the petter too. π
You have the same mix as we do and it has space for five pets, so perfect! Good luck!
Good luck, Donna! π
that is a really cool idea. I would like one of them to track all our hunt test events during the summer. You did a great review on it, I never heard of it before and if i don’t win I think I have to get it.
Thank you! And yes, The Petter would be a great tool for tracking any events you’re participating in. Good luck, and be sure to visit us at ThePetter.com!
It is great for busy pets like yours!
