What critters are braving the snow, Emma?
Mostly squirrels. They fly around in all the big trees. Sometimes I see a deer out there too.
was it a squirrel?
No, like a bizillion squirrels. They scamper and run from tree to tree, play chase with each other, generally make me crazy!
that looks like a pretty cozy place to be watch critters from…
Beats sitting out in the cold, that’s for sure!
Hope you get to see some wabbits Emma.
Mainly squirrels, but I know in another few weeks the wabbits will be out and about. They will have Easter on their minds, so they are easier to catch…they forget about me π
What is there Emma?
Tons and tons of squirrels!
It looks like you are keeping a very close eye on whatever is out there, Emma, good job!
Lots of squirrels in all those trees…makes me nuts!
They are OUT! saw many squirrels yesterday. A sign of SPRING. Happy Black n White Sunday. Golden Woofs
Yep, those tree rats are out playing around. I’m waiting for one to be a bit careless so I can grab it.
You should keep a blog of all the animals you see today!
I think it will just be too many squirrels to count!
Did you find any? It looks like fun! Love Dolly
So many squirrels, but until I can learn to climb a tree I won’t be able to grab one.
Definitely very intent on whatever’s out there!
Squirrels are serious business!
So focused. Great shot!

I’m always focused when it comes to critters π
It HAS to be a squirrel. I just know it!
My mud puddle pal would know! You are correct, tons of squirrels.
Are you seeing something chase worthy?
Good heavens, yes! Tons of squirrels but the snow is too deep for me to chase them.
A wabbit? A squirrel? A doe, a female dear? What is catching your fancy, Emma? I do not watch or wait yet. XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
I was about six months old when I started being interested in critters. Today I’m watching lots of squirrels in the trees.
I will catch on SOON! I have taught myself how to get outside through the doggie doors. I even made my own doggie door by pushing out the screen around the pool…but only in ONE place. My nose stays real busy when I am in the yard….AND I like to DIG! oh, I am VERY fast! While I am at it let me say I can now jump on the sofa and recliner, and I like to sleep on the end table. The mom says I am very smart! Sparkle the PBGV
I never have been much into digging which I hear is a good thing. We aren’t allowed on the furniture so I have never done that either. I’m sure you are trying everything you can, and maybe you are learning by observing the other doggies?
Bonnie says that she agrees. She loves to watch the outside – can sit by the window for hours waiting for something to move. =)
I usually fall asleep if nothing exciting happens but I keep my post.
Critter watching is the best!!!!
have you seen a squirrel or a yeti? Have a sunny sunday!
Tons of squirrels playing in the trees!
You would’ve been so proud of me today Ems, I chased a bunny (though it was big so might’ve been a hare!) Didn’t catch it but certainly enjoyed the chase:-)
Awesome! The PBGV was actually bred for wabbits and the GBGV for hares. I’ve never seen a hare. Bummer you did not catch it!
Critter watchin huh?? hmm…..which types of critters were you watchin? Squirrels? Was it squirrels? I betcha it was squirrels! ….wait, did someone say SQUIRRELS/?????
hehehe have a pawsome day!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Squirrels, tons of them racing around in the big trees. Fascinating stuff!
All three of my dogs and all four of my cats have enjoy that same activity.
–Woofs (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats
My cats enjoy it too, but my dog sisters aren’t much for window watching.
Oohh, Pierre would be so jealous! He goes insane when a squirrel gets in the backyard! Your view is lovely. Bark More, Growl Less Barking from the Bayou!
I have ruined the woodwork around my front window from going insane and trying to scratch my way out to the critters.
Those squirrels just hop around in the trees to intertain you I’m sure of.
Sometimes living in the city has it’s advantages- the only critters Wilhelm, Brychwyn and Huxley watch out our windows are people walking by and the neighbor kids playing!
I love watching the wildlife. We see people and stuff too, so I guess we have it all!
Ah yes, critter watching. Is there anything better? Wasn’t it nice to get outside and do it too?
Yes and no. Now that the snow is soft, I really sink in and it is deep!
Shouldn’t you be out side snow romping Emma?
It is a melty mess out there. I was out a lot too today, though.
I luv critter watchin too.
An awesome hobby!
I’d be out chasing those Squirrels. have a super Sunday Emma xxxoxxx
Mollie and Alfie
I would love to, but that was at Gramma’s house and her yard is not fenced.
What kind of critters did you see Emma? We have been chasing squirrels in our backyard but haven’t caught any yet:(
Watching squirrels. Some day I know I will catch one!
Inquiring Doodle minds want to know – what did you see Emma?
Squirrels, tons of squirrels racing and playing in all the big trees.
Love this photo! Very pretty. I bet those critters didn’t dare come too close to your house! π
Tree rats seem to understand the concept of windows, so they do tease me sometimes.
Better keep a sharp eye out. The brown dawgs saw SQ’s in the yard today.
They are all over the place here…I think they smell spring.
Just wait until all that snow melts and you can start doing some serious critter chasing!
It is melting now…what a huge mess it is and we really sink into the snow now too!
My gang likes to critter watch also and they make a lot of noise doing it while in the house. Have fun.
I don’t say much unless I am in my front window and a critter is right there in front of me, then I make a huge fuss!
