“Afternoon Tea”
Julie McGann Fine Art Children’s Portraits
Julie is Mom’s cousin. She specializes in photographing children, but she also loves pets and dressing them up like little people. Julie offered to make one of her creations that is part painting, part photograph for us dogs. Mom sent the photos and Julie went to work creating this adorable afternoon tea party scene with Katie, Bailie and I. Julie is located in Rochester, NY, but has done these portraits for people all overΒ the world. She is also open to doing more pets. To find out more about her work, see other portraits, or to contact her click on the following links, just tell her Emma the GBGV sent you! They make pawsome gifts! Facebook Page, Website, Etsy.

We’re up early this morning Emma, love the portrait. If we had sister’s we would certainly want one for them.
She does stuff for boys with cars or boats, what ever the imagination wants to see π
So cute! She is very talented!
She really does fun stuff.
So charming! Love it π
We are really impressed too.
We agree charming. That made us smile. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
It is a bit “English” which we wanted.

Bunny
Thanks, Bunny π
How big is the painting? Is it hanging on your wall, Emma?
It is a digital file that I will have printed. I think the dimensions are normally 11×16, she has a place she prints them and a paper she recommends.
Oh my gosh!!! How cute is that!!!
I know, isn’t it!
You all look so calm in the painting. Good thing there are no squirrels in those trees!
One squirrel and the party would be over for sure!
Love it Emma, you three look so cute . xxxoxxxx
Mollie and Alfie
Thanks, she did a pawsome job!
Oh wow, that really is beautiful!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
We are impressed with it.
Lovely! π Have a PAWsome Wednesday. We missed the snow again … we got rain instead. Golden Woofs
Well, we are just used to the snow, so a few more inches is no big deal.
Cute idea, you guys look great. Isn’t afternoon tea the best?
π yes it is.
Oh, that’s adorable. Definitely going to check out her Etsy page!
She is super creative and will work with pet or human photos.
I saw this on FB this morning and I thought it was so gorgeous!
Thank you, we love how it turned out.
You guys need to book a trip to France and hang this in the Louvre for the world to see.
Oh, now there is an idea. Does Eko want to come along as our escort?
Thats beautiful! Many thanks for sharing this wonderful creation. My mom dreamt about a tea party like that as she was a little puppy , but the guinea pig the cat and the dog were not wellbehaved guests :o)
Hope the guinea pig made it out alive!
yes, only the cloth was removed in a rude way :o)
Emma, your tea portrait is darling! Julie does beautiful work. Thank you for sharing her info. Yes, one squirrel and it would over.
I think I better have a real tea party indoors for that reason!
Ah! This is so freaking cute! XD Your friend is an amazing painter! π
Thank you, it is all done with photos and photo programs, no real painting involved.
I’m impressed! Your cousin is very talented.
She does amazing things with photos.
Oh, that is just so sweet. What a wonderful job she did!
She is really good at this niche! Lots of publicity for her already!
That sure is beautious!

This is absolutely adorable. It would be darling on a little girl’s wall. π
I think Mom will put it in her home office so we can all see it.
That is really beautiful Emma, she did a wonderful job!
Thank you, we are very happy with it.
That’s just splendiferous looking, Emma! All three of you look so sublime.
Wow, what a fun comment π
This is so cute! They look just like you guys. I used to like dressing up my cats and having tea parties with them. They were boy cats, but they always wore dresses.
Mom used to do that to her cat growing up!
Such beautiful and creative work! I’m going to check out more on Etsy!
She is really good and has great ideas.
OMD!!! That has to be the most adorable portrait EVER!! What a treasured keepsake <3 I'd love to have one made. I'll definitely visit her site.
You just provide your idea, like golfing or cars, etc, she will tell you what pose she needs for the project and then she goes to town. Lots of fun stuff she has already done. We are here first animals but she would happily do more.
That is really awesome, she did a beautiful job.
Thank you, we are really happy with it.
Love the portrait! It’s stunning!
Thank you!
OMD! That is a most beautiful portrait. Guess what? We live in Rochester, NY too! Your mom’s cousin is very talented. If she ever needs a super model boxer looking boy have her give me a shout.
Walter
That is cool! We have lots of family in the Buffalo and Rochester area. DoodiePack is also in Rochester.
If you ever make it to Rochester we should try to meet up! There is nothing better than meeting Blogville friends.
Mom hasn’t been to Rochester in many, many years, but maybe we will road trip it one day!
Such a beautiful picture!!! Happy Wordless Wednesday!!!
Thank you π
Wow, what a stunningly beautiful portrait! It’s so sweet and pretty. Something to treasure, for sure. I’ll have to check out her website. She’s very talented!
