It is spring, can you tell?
Can you tell Bailie and I apart in black and white? She is about my size, just that skinny teenage girl body! From a distance we look real similar these days. Luckily I am black/white/tan and she is brown/white/tan. Hopefully you all can recognize Katie! She is that beautiful white lady that blends into the snow!
It may be spring on paper, but in our yard it is still time to play in the snow. It has melted a lot but since we had so much, it will take some time. The spring weather is a bit chilly too which doesn’t facilitate the melting process. We were all out looking for signs of spring but other than a few small patches of grass we did not find much. It will come, it always does.
I amΒ joining the Black and White Sunday Blog Hop sponsored by Dachshund Nola and Sugar the Golden Retriever. Sometimes photos are simply more fun in black and white!
We will send you some our sun to speed things along. Have a serene Sunday and let us all have some big easy today.
Best wishes Molly
We have lots of sun, but the air is so darn cold!
Katie looks like she enjoys the sunny snow a bit more that you and Bailie, Emma. I’m sorry spring is so slow to come to you but I would trade a bit of your spring snow for this weekends insane spring yard clean up in a second!
Katie is much bigger with a big thick coat, more of a winter dog. She loves to just hang out in the snow π
We had SPring temps last week … this week, back to Winter π Can’t wait for SPRING!!! Have a PAWsome Sunday. Golden Woofs
We have a nice warm day and then it gets cold again. Spring is taking its time.
Katie and I still have snow in CT.and it is still chilly boson we will all be complaining about the heat. But you guys look so happy no matter what. You sure have a good life!
We prefer winter to summer as with all the heat we can’t do much but we just deal with what we get.
Not much sign of spring here either. It looks like our next week is still going to be winter too. We’ll probably go from this to hot weather and skip spring completely!
You girls do look so much alike but I can see some differences even in black and white (her dark ears mostly). Katie sure looks content just lying in the snow with the sun on her!
Last year we had not spring, so maybe it is the new trend? Our ears are the easiest way to tell us apart.
Rain here today Emma π We can always tell you apart π xxoxxxxx
Mollie and Alfie
Mom knows us so well, she has no trouble, but lots of folks say it is hard.
Luckily Bailie has those brown ears too. Katie looks so pretty in the snow. Hope it melts soon and the grass comes back!
Well, I think it will be a while, two chances for more snow next week and it won’t be above freezing much until at least the end of the week. It is what it is.
It will get there. Soon you will have nice green grass to run on.
Soon it will be too warm and I will get my pool out π
lol, we at least have less snow than you so it looks more like spring here. Have a great Sunday.
It is so cold again and more snow and sleet tomorrow.
Our spring has disappeared. We’ve had rain and hail
Yikes, don’t get hit in the head with hail!
I will try to send you some of our 50 degree weather. I can tell the difference in you both. You both are so cute that it makes my eyes smile.
Happy Sunday
Thank you. Mom says it is obvious but lots of folks are saying they have a hard time telling us apart. We had a day of 50 but now we are back to single digits.
We actually do have seasons here in Florida and Spring is definitely here. Nights are not as chilly and days are getting downright hot! The Spring plants are blooming. The pool temp is up to 79 degrees and the mom is going to take me into it soon! Happy Sunday! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
I’m sure it won’t be long and it will be too hot here and I will get my dog pool out.
Don’t worry spring really is on the way, I just know it… it has to be after the winter we’ve all had. And I can tell the two of you apart!
Mom just keeps reminding me that we had our last snow on May 8 last year…hopefully not again this year.
Hang in there! Warmer temps coming this week!
What? Snow tomorrow and maybe later in the week too they say…oh well, we will just keep waiting, spring will find its way eventually.
Our yard is still blanketed with snow as well! We even just had another snow storm the other day!!!! We welcome it though, being huskies and all!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
We really love winter and snow, but this time of year it just makes a mess and isn’t much fun, so it may as well melt and be spring.
Blimey, it certainly doesn’t look like spring where you guys are!
Fantastic photos of your pack.
Hope you had a lovely weekend!

No spring here. It was actually just lightly snowing outside. Oh well, spring will come at some point. Thanks for stopping by!
Hey Emma, because of your blog, our mom has been working hard at walking us a lot more. She said you wrote that good long walks help make your day calmer and happier! It sure is making our days happier. Keep up the great writing!! Your doodle friends in sunny, somewhat warm (!) Colorado.
Hi there! That is awesome! Walking is so healthy for dogs and their humans! I bet you have more energy but are also more mellow at home! It makes my day to hear I am helping some of my dog pals get more exercise!
Wow Emma, you should come down to the Bayou until your snow melts! I can always tell you from your sister. Katie looks like a snowdog. I’m anxious to see pics of you with flowers. I know you’ll be beautiful. Have a fun Sunday! Your Basset, Bentley
I think the flower photos will be another month or two. It is snowing here and there today and supposed to snow again twice this week. I will survive, it is better than hot weather I think.
I’ll hope you get the spring soon. Have a great day.
Maybe in a few weeks?
We’ve been having some chilly winds here too, but no more snow, except for a few random patches here and there where the sun doesn’t always reach it. Spring will come eventually, like you said. In the mean time, keep having fun with your snow! π Lovely photos, by the way. Bailie has grown so much!
Luckily, the snow for today has moved south, so it will just be a dusting, but there is another storm later this week. Nothing we can do about it so we just deal with what we have.
Cute pictures! Hope ya gets some real spring weather soon!
It will happen, we just have to be patient.
Wow! You have even more than I do! I bet your yard faces the north. Ours faces south. Mostly ice now. Not much snow left. I bet you girls don’t mind the snow huh? π
They are almost the same size now and so similar in looks. Love Katie. π
The backyard is on the north side, but even our front yard is still covered in snow pretty much. We love snow, but now it is either frozen and slippery or wet and we sink in, so not so fun anymore but spring will come.
Wow, you three are so beautiful and cute.It is amazing how big Bailie has gotten.

I know, that stinker just grows and grows. She needs to fill out now.
Can’t believe how much snow you still have. At least ours melted but it snowed this morning again & cold and more coming! Spring?? Love Dolly
I think on the weekend it is going to warm up, but one never knows with the weather people.
Hmmm it still doesn’t look too springy. Katie’s fur does blend really well with that snow. Especially in the black and white style photo.
It is much easier to spot Katie in the summer on the green grass!
Hope spring comes soon at your place.. but as i own a Siberian Husky, if left upon him, he would make it snow all the year round. ^_^
We love snow too, but the snow this time of year is no good, more like ice.
It does still look like winter to me!
It is, cold, snow flurries, and lots of ice, but maybe the weekend will be warmer.
Those are beautiful pictures of all of you. Still cold here…blah. π
Below zero wind chills tonight, great!
Love those pictures! You two are so cute and Katie is stunning! It is still a little chilly here but we don’t have snow on the ground. Hope it warms up soon!
Lovely 5 degrees this morning with a below zero wind chill, but they say 52 on Sunday, so we will see.
