We are not a tennis ball family, but we always have four or five in the yard. I have no idea where they come from, but they are there. Bailie likes to chase them if Mom throws them, but she doesn’t return them. Usually, she collects them and chews on them until it becomes boring. Sometimes Katie will pick one up and gallop around with it. I never touch them myself, Mom mows over a couple each year. They have no importance to any of us, but because we are dogs we have to have some in the yard!
The grass is still on the brown side, Bailie has a more brown “tweed” fur coat, and with the evening sun, this photo just came out perfect to be used with sepia.
I’m joining in the Sepia Saturday Blog Hop sponsored by my pal Ruckus the Eskie. If you have a sepia related photo,(doesnβt just have to be photos of pets), grab the badge and join in the fun!
Beautiful
Not bad for a little sister π
Tennis balls are great for playing fetch π and yah, the humans here play tennis seldom here too!
None of us play fetch, Bailie just likes to gather them up and chew on them.
We use to love tennis balls but now we only have eyes for squirrels LOL. Have a super Saturday.
Best wishes Molly
Bailie is the only one that has much interest, but mainly just for chewing. No one plays fetch or anything here.
Great shot!
Thank you!
Glory and gman like tennis balls. Have a great weekend.
Bailie just collects and chews, we rarely play with them.
I don’t think we have a single one around. The dog that lived her before us had a million of them, so every once in awhile we used to find one under a bush or something.
Mom’s last dog was a tennis ball lover. Don’t know where these come from but we always have a few around.
I’ll bet you really have a ball cutie!
π
I have a tennis ball as part of a (ha ha) “sturdy” tug toy. I chew and pull on the cover of the tennis ball, and I have made a mess of it! Bailie looks beautiful in sepia. XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
That she might like. She likes to play tug with Katie.
Ballie looks adorable and I feel the same way about tennis balls! Love Dolly
She is pretty cute, I have to admit.
It’s great, it could be an evening at Wimbledon where they had to interrupt the worlds championship because “someone” rustled the tennis balls.:o) Have a fabulous weekend
We don’t like tennis balls either but we sure love your picture!
We have them around more just for our friends.
Baillie looks especially peaceful with that tennis ball in her mouth. I wish tennis balls would magically appear in my yard.
Just chillin and chewin π
That is a perfect photo for sepia. Luke isn’t showing a lot of interest in the balls either, other than for keeping away from his sisters. If no one is chasing him to try to get it, he loses interest and drops it. I do hope that grass turns green soon!
Katie is the one that snatches them and runs to get a fun game of chase going.
Happy Sepia Saturday!!!!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Same to you my friends!
Beautiful with a capital B photo.
Lots of Woofs from Earl an I at Earl’s World!
Thank you! The little pest can look pretty decent!
So cute! Petal prefers stuffed animals and treat puzzles over tennis balls, so we don’t have much either.
She just collects them to chew on. Not even sure where they come from since we don’t play with them.
What do you mean “no tennis balls?” Leo wants to know if he should send a “Wilson” your way!!!!
Katie has two soccer balls. She loved playing soccer including headers in the air when she was younger, but now she doesn’t have the drive anymore.
We love tennis balls at our house! If mom’s not careful we will chew them up and eat them. Your picture is beautiful Bailie! Have a great weekend!
Our lawnmower is so far the only thing that chews up tennis balls!
Great photo Bailie!
Thank you!
We’re not either but do you know, they appear in OUR yard too? Go figure! MOL!
I have seen my cat bro Bert push one in the house, but not outside since he is an indoor cat.
Cute picture. The brown dawgs are never so lucky to find tennis balls in their yard!
Don’t know why they are in our yard but Bailie enjoys chewing on them.
This photo definitely came out perfect. I am not a tennis ball type of dog either!
Hope you had a good Sepia Saturday!
Thanks, we thought it looked pretty good in sepia.
