Everyone knows Dog Fun is key at my house! For this reason, my dog belly was tickled pink when Pet360 asked me to join them in their campaign β 60 Reasons Why Life with Dogs is Best. The 60 Reasons are divided into five color coded categories on their fun slide show: Dog Health, Dog travel, Dog Nutrition, Dog Adoption, and my assigned category, Dog Fun.
Life with dogs brings out your inner child or puppy!
Now, I could howl all day about all the reasons why Dog Fun is best, but they asked me to narrow it down to just one bark. After conferring with Mom, I decided the best reason for me and my family as to why Dog Fun is best is: Life with dogs brings out your inner child or puppy! Let me bark honestly here. Mom is no spring chicken, she is already in the double digits, even older than my sister Katie, but she wants to do fun things that kids do. Dog Fun allows her inner child and my inner puppy to come out! As with children, puppies just do it, go for it, no worries, no embarrassment. Dog Fun recreates this behavior.
In the winter, Mom loves to play with us in the snow, even digging snow forts and tunnels!
We go out for walks in pouring rain storms, stomp around in puddles, and get soaked to the bone, but it is fun!
Mom climbs into our dog tunnel with us. We play in there and even take selfies!
We go on adventure walks through the woods. Sometimes we are off road and play hide and seek behind trees and bushes.
My sister and I play chase. Mom often joins in the chase, but she can’t catch us!
Dog Fun allows Momβs inner child to come out without her being embarrassed and my inner puppy to come out without appearing silly. Fun is play, play is good, and play helps keep you healthy! Get out and have some Dog Fun with your pup!

I cannot imagine a life without dogs. It is truly the best.
That is what my mom says too.
Play and fun is the best. We love a bit of inner puppy/child time. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
It is fun when moms are like little kids again.
Great reasons why life with dogs is good. Love the “baby” pictures. π
Thank you.
I have had dogs in my life since I was five years old….I could not imagine a time where I would ever be without one – what could be better then to wake up each morning and having a soft head and ear to tickle?
Mom had one dog and actually got a second one because she couldn’t imagine a morning without a dog to walk or feed. Dogs are her life.
I think I have to agree – dog fun is one of the best reasons. It helps keep you young and allows you to be silly without feeling like a jerk!
Exactly. If Mom was digging snow tunnels by herself, they may send her for a brain evaluation, but with us, no problem.
Cuddling with dogs are the best. They welcome your hugs at any time!
Oh we love hugs, kisses and cuddles, but fun is good too!
Having a dog is the best! They love you no matter what!
We sure do love our humans no matter what.
I agree! Having dogs really makes us find the fun in life. How can you not play tug when the dogs wants to, or run in the park?
Exactly! Dogs help humans have fun which is healthy.
I concur – nothing but kids and pups living in Doodleville. Sweet post…
Thank you…we are all immature but happy. Who cares what the neighbors think!
Emma, that is the BEST reason I have ever heard about how Dog Fun makes life with dogs the BEST! Playing with us sure does bring out Ma and Daddy-dog’s inner child/puppy! Oh, I wish we could’ve collaborated because playing with dogs is HEALTHY for people and pets…which would have fit right into the category I was assigned! It could’ve been double-WHAMMY posts! BOL Excellent post!

This was all so last minute! Most of the topics really run together. Your post was pawsome too. It is a fun campaign idea and I’m happy to be a part of it.
I agree! It definitely brings out the inner child in us!!!
I find myself playing around so much with them, you would never know I am “suppose” to be all adult and stuff!!! BOLOL!!!!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
My mom has a big birthday coming up this summer and she says she only feels like half her age. Play really keeps one young!
Whoa, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen an Emma puppy photo. I never realized her ears were black! Is that an undercoat that is still the same color? Did her blonde curls just grow over it, or does Emma secretly dye her hair??
We all fade. Bailie has faded a lot too if you look at her puppy photos compared to now, but she is still darker in the face. I went from sable to blonde…except I don’t act like a blonde π
That’s awesome Emma! I think Dog Fun was the perfect choice for you. You, mom and your sisters sure have a lot of fun. I like doing fun things too, but I’m not sure my dogs do. LOL
We are a wild and crazy group!
Dog fun is the best! When mom joins in it is even better, I agree Emma! your doodle friend, Dash
I don’t think my mom was made to be an adult. She just doesn’t enjoy acting her age.
Everything in life is better with a dog! I just wish they would let me take Daisy to the grocery store, because she’s way more fun and nicer than most of the humans I encounter there! LOL
So true! In Germany we could go almost everywhere but the two places we were never allowed were grocery stores and bakeries.
Something for you at DogDaz http://dogdaz.com/2014/06/05/thankful-thursday-liebster-award/ Come and get it!
I will have to stop by. Lots to do today, so I haven’t gotten to many blogs yet.
That is a great reason! Dogs + Humans = Happiness! Emma, you were a precious puppy!!
Love that equation! I bet you were an adorable Bassett pup! Did you trip over your ears a lot? I did.
That sure does look like fun, but I couldn’t find my inner puppy!
Maybe your inner kitten?
Life with dogs is just great! I like it when my mom acts like a puppy when she dances with me or when she sings songs to me ( I turn 5 this year and I know that the wheels of the bus go round and round ugh!). A life without dogs would be super boring, that’s for sure! Your snow fort looks great!
Thanks for the wheels on the bus reminder…Mom hasn’t had it stuck in her head for a while, but now she will π Have fun playing!
Emma, they gave you the perfect category…..you, your siblings, and your Mom are always having so much fun. It is true that we humans want to have a second childhood, and having dogs gives us the perfect excuse to do so. I never find myself smiling quite as much as I do than when I’m out playing with the dogs.
Mom just loves to play with us and act all silly.
One of the reasons I love dogs so much is they give me a reason to play every day! I love playing silly games with Ace like chasing him, hiding from him and just goofing off. It is definitely a stress reliever. He’s no puppy, but I’m glad he still loves to play.
Even old dogs still have some puppy in them that Mom likes to get out. Playing with us always makes her happy.
You can tell through your posts and photos how happy you are with your dogs. I wish we had more time to talk at BlogPaws. I love dogs so much for helping me live in the moment.
Thank you. I wish we had had time to talk, but there was always so much going on, and everyone wanted your time, so it was just all to short. Nashville…we will have to set aside a time!
Dogs really do make life more fun! I just love your post and the pics!
Thank you. We love life and spread that to humans.
Dogs are awesome, I couldn’t imagine life without at least one furry companion!
My mom feels the same way.
It’s so true. I’m willing to look silly to make sure my dog is happy… and that’s a good thing. I don’t worry about what other people think as much anymore!
I think it is especially true for those that don’t have mini humans like my mom. She loves being crazy with us.
Yep, I regress when I spend time with Honey too. Sometimes I think she acts older than I do. π
My sister Katie tends to look down her nose at Mom and us, but sometimes she lets her inner puppy out too.
Great post! Dogs definitely keep us young.
Thank you. Mom says we keep her young and keep her going in general. If she is down, she just has to look at us and things are better.
Us dogs are so much fun! I remind mom to have fun every day! Love Dolly
That is right! If our humans are being boring we just have to stare at them and bug them until they get moving and play with us.
What a fun campaign! I can think of so many reasons why my dogs make my life better but the fun they bring to our lives is one of the best parts. Playing with our dogs keeps us young at heart and is one of my favorite pastimes:)
That is exactly how we feel too. Life is far to busy and serious, humans need to stop and play more, have more fun!
My bipeds have lots of fun playing games with me! It’s good for all of us.
Exactly, and it sounds like you all have lots of fun adventures.
Moms are sure fun creatures!
Especially when they don’t act their age!
