Today starts my seven day celebration week of Bailie for her first birthday. I will let her have a bit more of the limelight here and there for her special week both at home and some days on my blog and social media accounts. I will try not to be mean to her, and try to help her catch her first wabbit if one comes into the yard. I thought I would kick off this fun week with a nice black and white photo and her name as we see it. I tried to be a good big sister and leave any negative words that popped into my head out…it wasn’t an easy task for me. Sometimes she can be a real pest, and I do get jealous of her, but overall, she is a great little sister. Enjoy your last two days of being a puppy, Bailie!
I amΒ joining the Black and White Sunday Blog Hop sponsored by Dachshund Nola and Sugar the Golden Retriever. Sometimes photos are simply more fun in black and white.
Almost one… That is very grown up. Almost. Thanks for sharing such kindness about Bailie, Emma. Everypup wishes for a big sister like you!
She is a real sweatheart, but sometimes she does get under my fur…sibling stuff I guess.
Wow time sure does fly. Happy Farther’s day to your daddy and have a lovely serene Sunday.
Best wishes Molly
As long as pigs don’t fly, we will all be fine π
You are such a good sister, Emma, even though it’s not always easy. I’m sure Bailie is going to have a great birthday week with you in charge of it!
We are going to try to make it a great week and a special day.
I agree, sometimes little sisters are not easy to maneuvre :o) But she is a cute little girl and it’s great to have fursiblings to share your secrets and your treats :o) have a super sunny sunday!
The sharing secrets is good, but treats…I would rather never share treats π
Hope you catch that rabbit, Bailie!
We are hoping one finally comes in the yard. Someone put the word out in the wabbit community about my record with wabbits and they seem to be avoiding us.
You have been a great big sister just as Katie was to you. You have a wonderful family and that is something to celebrate!
Katie is still the best big sis. She has the patience of a saint and is always so loving. Bailie and I are both lucky to have her as a role model.
you are so kind, Emma! The mom and I were working on my name (some of the things the mom suggested were NOT nice!) XOXO Sassy, Pretty, Adorable, Raucous, Kind, Loveable, Energetic the PBGV
That is pretty good! It is not easy to fill all the letters. I’m working on Katie next.
You are the best big sister ever Emma! Love the picture and you picked out some really good words to describe Bailie! It’s going to be a great week at your house!
It will be wet as it won’t stop raining, but fun nevertheless.
What a special and thoughtful birthday gift to give your sister Emma. We look forward to the week
Every now and then you have to let the nice out. It all comes back to you in time they say.
I’m glad you thought of nice stuff to say. She is a great dog and will grow up eventually. LOL I can’t believe she is a year already.
I know. Mom is sad she won’t have a real puppy anymore.
We are happy your special sister is having a very special week.
We are excited for her. She always is so happy and has so much fun.
Oh, Emma! Now I have to say nice things about my sister. Mom always reads your blog out loud to us and she said that now I need to say nice things about Lilly! Actually it won’t be too hard. Happy Birthday Week!! We love your blog! your doodle friend, Dash
Sometimes us siblings just have to do these kinds of things. It kind of makes me feel good, though.
Emma what a great big sister you are! And happy birthday week to Bailee! Love Dolly
You enjoy your special day! Maybe you will get that cat for your birthday?
You are a good big sister Emma. I hope you have some fun this week celebrating with Bailie, something tells me that you will.
Most likely, but for sure there will be some good food!
How exciting! You are a good sister Emma, though that “exceptional” could be used to mean good or bad things π
What a great bday week kick off. So nice of you Emma to share your blog with the special bday girl.
Well, as you know, in a multi pet household it is always about sharing.
Happy birthweek, Bailey.
I think she will have a blast!
Happy Birthday, Bailie! Hope you have a barking good birthday week!
I know she will as first birthdays are special.
Very sweet of you Emma! Love this photo of her π
Thank you.
Emma, I am proud of you being so selfless for Bailie’s birthday week. Remember, birthdays mean goodies for you too. Give her a long distance huggle from us. Love, Bentley
She might just die from huggling too much. That girl can’t get enough…huggleaholic I think! I’ll pass an extra one on to her.
That is so sweet of you to share the limelight with Bailie and I am sure she is most appreciative! That photo is sooo adorable!! Emma you are a good doggy! Barks and licks and love, Dakota
It beats sharing with my cats at least. She deserves it. One is a special birthday.
Lovely pic
Thanks!
WOW! 1 year old already. Just 1 week … how about a month of Bailie Barkday celebration. Have a wonderful Sunday. Golden Woofs
She gets a week and next Sunday starts Katie’s week, making half a month of birthday. I think we will have enough celebration. We have a lot of work to do this month too because Bailie and I both have ORT coming up on July 2, and CGC in less than two weeks.
Emma, that is so generous of you – even if it is just for a week! Someday she will repay you for your kindness.
I’m sure she will as she is a real nice, polite type of girl. One is special, so we need to do it up big for her.
Aww you are such a good big sister, Emma! If I had a younger sibling, I don’t think I could be half as gracious!
I try to be nice, but I often put her in her proper place. This week I will try to be extra nice, though.
Happy birthday week Bailee. π
I know we will have a lot of fun!
Ooooo, a week long celebration, love it!!! Happy Birthday Bailie!
Oh yes, it will be a fun week and then next Sunday starts Katie’s birthday week!
Bailie are a cutie.
She says thank you π
Awwww, she’s so cute!
Not bad for a little sister.
What I love about your blog is your obvious love of your dog. Great image π Now I’ll be trying to figure out what I’d so with our dogs’ names.
Thank you. We are sure loved by our mom. The name thing is hard, but on one long walk the right words finally popped into our heads. If nothing else, it is a great brain exercise.
A whole week of birthday happiness is a wonderful idea! Happy Birthday, Bailie!
What a lovely idea!
Thank you!
oh Bailie, happy HAPPY #1 to you!!!
She says thank you!
