It’s summertime which means it is picnic time! Humans are always filling their picnic baskets with goodies like cold fried chicken, chips, and other tasty items, but drool no more! Fill your own basket with Jones Natural Chews and you won’t even want what your humans are having! Take if from me, Emma the GBGV, Lamb Lung Puffs and Beef Trachea Windees are essentials for your summer picnic basket if you are a dog! My good friend, Flea, came up with the idea for a giveaway of these products. I tell you, Flea is awesome and if you don’t know her, stop by her blog which is all about yummy dog treats, and give her a woof! I met Flea at BlogPaws this year which was huge for me since she has the best ever wabbit jerky! That is a whole different post, so I best stick to the treats of the day.
I thought it would be a good idea for Katie, Bailie and I to have a little “tasting” picnic of our own to show all my friends how yummy in a puppy dog tummy these all natural, made in the USA treats really are. ***TIP*** Make sure and use your picnic napkins as the treats may crumble making it is easier to find the crumbs on a napkin than in the grass, and it is proper picnic etiquette.
Once the bag of Lamb Lung Puffs was open, my first instinct was to see if I could completely fit inside the bag. The smell was amazing and I wanted to become one with all of those treats in the bag! Mom said I needed to mellow down and let Katie give the Windees a try first…something about seniority order.
We were a bit concerned the Windees might be a bit small for Katie, but they were not. She is a gulper usually, but she chewed and chewed on her ring for over a minute. The Windees are made out of USA beef trachea tube, are oven baked and are excellent for senior dogs as they have lots of chondroitin and glucosamine. Katie loved hers and really wanted to eat all six that were in the bag but was told to pace herself a bit. Katie highly recommends Windees for any dog, but especially seniors.
***WARNING***
While watching Katie, we learned a very important lesson! Never leave your picnic basket unattended. These are high value treats and if left unattended often fall prey to nasty thieves…such as my naughty cat bro Bert. Now I don’t know if cats should eat Lamb Lung Puffs or not, but Bert felt he should eat them. I put my paw down on that idea and reclaimed our picnic basket!
Next up, I wanted to give the Lamb Lung Puffs a try. They are super light, made in the USA, low fat, high in protein, baked, and have an outstanding aroma. Being a scent hound, I do know something about aroma! I just loved it, and considered eating Mom’s fingers if she didn’t hand it over a bit faster!
Look at my little sis Bailie! Now that grin says it all! It should be the face on the bag! Bailie was absolutely amazed by the taste! Notice how large the Lamb Lung Puff is? No worries. One of the beauties of these treats is they break into small or smaller pieces real easily! I prefer to munch on the largest one in the bag, but to be used for smaller dogs, or for training, being breakable is a huge plus.
Bailie and I love these and each of us give them four paws up! Katie also got to taste one and loved it as well.
Because Jones Natural Chews is an awesome company and because I want the best for my friends, we’re holding a giveaway so you can fill your own picnic basket with a bag of Lamb Lung Puffs and Beef Trachea Windee Rings! How pawsome is that!
All you have to do is fill out the rafflecopter and one lucky winner will receive their tasty treats directly from Jones Natural Chews. USA only, sorry.

Oh my – that would be one awesome picnic basket. We have heard lots about these treats but they don’t have them in any of the stores near us.
We have to drive a bit to get them, or go to BlogPaws, but they are worth it!
Flea visited us a while back and brought us treats! We loved all of them and couldn’t get enough! We think Flea is the bestest person ever!!!!
Flea is pawsome! I got to meet her and do some shopping at her booth at BlogPaws, such tasty stuff and the wabbit jerky is to drool for!
We love picnics….and that kind is more up the dogs’ alley than what I usually pack! That Bert….he is something else, I guess those treats really did smell good, but we can’t believe he actually stole one!
He steals our dog food, bones, anything that may be food related he wants. A real troublemaker!
Great picnic food Emma. You and I had the same idea – put our heads in the bag…best way to inhale those treats!
That is right. I wanted to stuff my mouth full before pulling my head back out!
It really is not what I think because I have never tasted the treats but…Schooner and Skipper LOVE the YUMMY taste all of the treats!
Funny, my mom isn’t interested in our treats either. Humans are so odd!
Hi Emma. A picnic sounds like a really great idea. Mom said the napkins are a super idea and you all looked adorable. Hey guess what we went to the vet for our check up and we are in great shape. Mom was so happy! Keep on walking!! Your doodle friend Dash.
That is awesome that you had great news at the vet. I bet they were impressed! Fit is fun and really pretty simple π Great job!
Awesome review and how cool that Jones treats are enjoyable by kitties too!
Thank you…I just wish that cat would leave our stuff alone. I think he is out to conquer the dog world!
These treats sound yummy!
They are, and healthy too.
Everything looks, sounds, and smells (I can smell them here because I am a scent hound!!) yummy! I liked Bert getting into the action. Enjoy your treats. XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Be glad you don’t live with Bert. That guy is always doing something to ruffle the fur on us dogs!
We are still enjoying these treats at my house Emma. Great Review!! As you pointed out the lamb lungs are perfectly easy to break and use for rewards or training purposes. We did not enter the contest though, since we already have some it would seem too greedy!
Enter with the dogs names…dogs can never be too greedy π
I like the way you think!
π
BOL! I’m so glad that even Bert likes the lungs! Cat food actually has a lot more protein than dog food, so I imagine that the lungs are good for the cat, too! And I agree – Baillie’s picture would be great on a treat bag! Thank you, Emma, for a great review and giveaway!
Thank you Flea for asking us. Don’t be surprised if the mailman brings you a box with a cat in it someday. If Bert does arrive, you better lock up anything edible in the house. The cat is off his rocker when it comes to food!
Maybe Bert would motivate our Bosco cat to eat something besides cat food. And only one particular cat food. Sure!
Y’all were sure having a yummy fun time, even Bert!
I figured my kitty friends would enjoy seeing my naught cat bro Bert in action!
Using napkins seems like the perfect way to ensure no crumbs are lost during the nomming process.
It is sure easier than trying to pick them out of the grass!
I love a good picnic but a picnic with Jones Natural Chews?!? Now that is a GREAT picnic! And who doesn’t LOVE Miss Flea?!? She smells just like treats! BOL I’m not sure about the Jones Lamb Lung Puffs but cats can eat other brands of Lamb Lung Puffs without getting sick. That Bert is too funny!

If someone doesn’t love Flea, they are just plain strange! Bert is just a problem, a dog wanna be! Hope you have some Jones for a picnic π
Very important essentials
Lily & Edward
Exactly! We want every dog to have the right picnic supplies, not just the humans!
That looks like an amazingly delicious picnic…you girls are very lucky!
Healthy and yummy keeps the Mom and us dogs happy!
I love the variety!! Bet of all the the quality assurance!!! Means alot to me and Lady Girl!! I say AWESOME PAWSOME and Lady says arrrroooowwoooo. And lots of cuddles and lickies.
They have so many good products. I spent a lot of time sniffing through their booth at BlogPaws and narrowing down my choices was so hard!
Emma I’m afraid you have to wear your pawlice cap now and your picnic basket needs the yellow crime scene tape :o) Butt at last not even cat’s can resist this yummy treats, hope Bert will enjoy it !
Mom took it away from him, those are for my sisters and I, not him. We don’t steal his stupid cat treats! Sheesh, that cat is such a pest!
I’d love to have a picnic with my pack. I love Jones’ products. With all the issues with imported dog treats, I love that Jones is made in the US.
Jones products are wonderful and so tasty too. Mom has to drive a bit out of her way to get them but it is worth it!
Maybe you need to change Bert’s name to Yogi (as in Yogi Beat). He couldn’t resist picnic baskets, either.
Mom is always saying “hey Boo Boo, how about a picnic basket”. She loved that cartoon as a kid!
Great giveaway!
Is it open in Canada as well?
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Oh dear, I forgot to put in US only. Sorry. I need all my friends to move to the US. Heck, I moved from the UK to Germany to the US just for the giveaways π
WOW! What a very tasty giveaway!
Extremely tasty!
We loved everything about our Jones treats that Mom brought back from BlogPaws. She even bought us some from the pet store! I’d love to picnic with you β₯β₯ Your Basset, Bentley
We have lots of treats, so we could feed additional picnic participants π
We’ve never tried Jones Chews but those sound delish and we would love to try them.
Millie & Walter
Oh, you would be crazy if you didn’t like them! They are awesome!
My dog would love these Jones treats!
I don’t think I have heard of a dog that didn’t like Jones treats. They are so good and good for us.
Silly Bert π Glad you guys had a tasty picnic. Happy Tasty Tuesday. Golden Woofs
Bert wants to be a dog so badly! At least he was caught before he stole all our treats!
We have never tried these treats! If we are selected, we’ll be donating the prize to our local animal shelter!
They are really great treats! That is awesome if you donate them.
what a fantastic picnic you had!
I like to do it up big, you know.
Cats will still doggy treats if you don’t watch out. That looks like an awesome pick-a-nick basket (as Yogi Bear would say.)

Especially my cat bro Bert. He takes anything that isn’t nailed down.
What an awesome review. And we think the napkin etiquette is so right, because who wants to look for crumbs in the grass. Our bro-cat, Nine, steals stuff too. You have to watch those scoundrels.
Cats are dangerous!
Picnics are indeed fun adventures and it looks like you girls had the perfect set-up! YUM!
Thank you. We had a scrumptious time π
I love that the goodies from Jones Natural Chews often have, literally, one ingredient. None of the bad stuff.
So right and they are so yummy.
These sure look yummy! Never trust a cat, they are always stealing things! π
Especially my cat bro Bert. He is always in trouble.
It looks like you had a wonderful time. I love the photos!
I hope Katie was watching Germany v Brazil last night – it was an amazing match!
Katie is ready for Sunday…Germany as World Cup Winner! We thought they would win, but it was crazy amazing!
Ahhhh… we wish Flea lives in Singapore… lol so we can get our paws on those natural chews too… π hahahahahahahahaha!! Glad you guys enjoy them! π
Every place in the world has special things. I’m sure there are things in Singapore I would be jealous of. Mom was only there one time, so I don’t know much about it.
Picnics are always fun especially with good eats! Glad you had a blast and Bert got some too π Great pics! I love that Jones Naturals Chews products are made with 100% USA meats.
I’m not happy about that cat stealing our stuff, but the treats are awesome! Bailie wrestled him down after the theft. She is good about that kind of thing.
I’d love to win!
Good luck π
We love Jones Natural Chews!!! Flea is awesome!!
I feel the same way!
Hi this is Fenris the Great Pyrenees here with my sister Tuiren the Beagle. Those treats looks super yummy and we were so impressed you put your paw down with Bert our cats scare us silly and steal our treats all the time. ~Fenris & Tuiren
That is funny, since my Kuvasz sister lets the cat order her around all the time too. My GBGV sister and I are not afraid to just sit on the cat or fight back when he gets out of line! Thanks for stopping by!
I like that their products are made in the USA!
That is such an important thing these days! Mom really watched everything she buys for us!
I love that they are made in a state right below me. What a awesome review and Bert kills me!
It might be a good reason to move to that state…but then again that might be a bit extreme just for treats!
I love that Jones Natural Chews are made in the USA!
Exactly, and they taste awesome too!
I like that they’re made int he USA with natural (usually single) ingredients.
It is amazing that they are made here with only 1-2 ingredients and we love them so when those other “bad” treats use all that funky stuff. We prefer natural goodness!
I love that they are made here with ingredients that are not imported, there is a difference and I want food and treats that are farmed here, not just processed here. My dogs love picnics too. So glad you are enjoying your summer.
Jones treats are simply awesome and healthy. You are correct, made in the USA has to mean every part of the process.
