Sunday is take it easy day at our house. We sleep in until almost 6am if you can believe that! Mom calls is lazy Sunday although she runs around like a fool cleaning, laundry, running, walking, and who knows what else. I know I find a nice quiet place to sleep and just snooze most of the day and I love it. Sometimes I sleep in one of my beds, sometimes just on the floor. It all depends on where I feel most comfy that day. Any of my friends out there enjoy a good Sunday snooze?

We might have showers, but right now it is cool, breezy, and ideal for napping in the yard.

Friday I was sick all day, yesterday I felt better but had to stay home and take it easy. Last night I got my wild pants on again, so today I’m resting.

Mom just can’t sit still. Her idea of relaxing is a long run followed by a nice walk with the dogs that didn’t run with her. She can’t even sit down and watch TV for more that a few minutes without getting up. It doesn’t interrupt my sleep, so I’m not complaining 😉

We too are sleeping in today – only we got dad up at 5:30a.m. because my sister Lucy had to go OUT!! NOW everyone except mom is snoozing. Mom is scheming – her favorite thing to do when the house is quiet.
We slept in until 5:45, that is when Mom woke us up. She is an early bird, but we don’t go out until 6 or 7, so we snooze a bit more when we get downstairs and she is at the computer. Have a fun day and take care of your mom…whether she is scheming or not.

For years, Mom can’t sleep past 5-6am. Even if we go to bed real late, she is up. Oh well, we like early morning.

We had some play time early this morning, because now it’s raining so it looks like snoozing for the rest of the day! Well, for the dogs anyway….Mom will be getting some much needed housework done too, at least until the Nascar race starts. 🙂

She tries to relax, but she is not real good at it. Always has to be doing something.
Okay, I’ll admit it. Sometimes I curl up next to my dogs on the floor because they look so comfy. Though usually they wind up curled up next to me on the couch.

We have awesome weather, low 70’s and windy. I’ve been doing a lot of my napping outside. I feel fine now. I have never been sick before, so it was kind of weird.

Mom pretty much has to wake me up to move so she can vacuum. I’m a real good sleeper.
I am laughing. That is what we call a lazy day Sunday too! Emma – I think your mom and I need a REAL lazy day Sunday! I have already taken the dogs to the park, washed dishes, weed whipped the yard, and groomed Maggie and Jasper. Now I am off to do laundry. I hope you are getting more sleep than I am!
We are pretty good about just sleeping and letting Mom run circles around us. Later in the day she always wonders why she is tired…silly lady!

We are lazy on Sundays too, but today we got a good walk on the beach first thing in the morning. I loved doing this. Made the rest of the day that much more relaxing.
As long as we get the exercise in, the being lazy part is great.

I enjoy a nap when not much is happening. Sunday is often a day for a longer walk than usual for us.
