Schroeder and I are working on the catcher position. Have you ever seen him without his beloved piano? This is a first for me! If you are keeping track, Schroeder is number eight…still two left before the set of 10 2014 All Star Peanuts Characters is complete.
Today, Iβm joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws today! Donβt forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
Schroeder is very handsome … and he’s got the ball in his mitt so he’s doing very well!
Not bad for a piano player!
I wish I knew too! Hope mom is recovering from her birthday. Love Dolly
Mom is doing fairly well considering her age!
no piano….my goodness!
Crazy, I know, but I guess he needed a break.
Hehe, cute photo!! Keep on sharing we love these peanut photos!
Two more to go and then one surprise one.
Very cute catcher position and pic. Hope Mom had a fun birthday. Have a great WW and week. XS at Talent Hounds
Thanks! Mom had a great day and is now settling into her new decade.
Were any of the characters wearing numbers on their backs representing famous players?
No, they were all just wearing various Twins uniforms with their own names and numbers on their backs.
Good question – maybe he has it behind that catcher’s vest?
Maybe a miniature piano?
I like this one, have a great day.
Thanks!
No piano?!? WTD? I was hoping to hear some Beethoven! BOL Happy WW Emma.
Oz
It would have been great having some music in the park.
I hope you find the piano!
I don’t think he has it with him. He left it at home.
Emma, as always you are prepared for the game and lovely. I gotta go check on the mom…she appears to me in crisis mode seeing Schroeder without his beloved piano. Silly mom – now we may be listening to Beethoven today. XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
You can listen to Beethoven, but it has to be played by Schroeder. Good luck, maybe Peanuts reruns.
Nice one. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Thank you!
It’s got to be around there somewhere

I was thinking music in the park, but it was not to be.
yes, where is the piano…Schroeder could play a Base-Ball-ad for us :o)
He could play take me out to the ballpark!
How can he be without his piano?!
I know, we were really surprised.
That is a new look for him.
Finally he doesn’t seem to be such a brainiac!
It looks like he’s traded the piano for a mitt, and his old muse for a new one!
Kind of a refreshing change. I was getting bored with Beethoven.
How pawfect that you put the ball glove and helmet in front like that! Great shot!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Well, it was a lesson about being a catcher π
You look pretty relaxed standing in front of such a famous icon.
After all the Snoopys last year and the characters this year, I am used to them now.
Interesting … where is it? Happy WW. Golden Woofs
He didn’t have a piano anywhere that we could find. So very out of character for him!
That Schroeder had many talents…from musician to baseball player! I’m trying to figure out who is left that we haven’t seen yet in this series (without looking back).
I just hope he doesn’t injure his fingers playing ball.
Huh. I never pegged Schroeder as the sporty type. But I suppose when everyone else is playing, he’s gotta play along! (He could have been playing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” on the organ though. Might have been a better fit for him…)
I’m with you on the song choice, but I guess a piano was too big to fit in with the figures.
Probably only for baseball would he step away from his piano….
I guess, but it is hard to imagine that he was comfortable without being able to play Beethoven.
We hope you’ll find someone to throw you the ball ! Purrs
That will be tough as I only have friends that fetch, none of them throw.
I think the only time that he doesn’t have his piano is on the ball field. This is one of my favorites in your series!
I’ve never seen him without, so you must be right.
Good point. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him without his piano. It must be around there somewhere!
No piano in the park, so I guess he actually can live without Beethoven for a little while.
Cute photo!
Thank you!
I bet you two would have the most brilliant games!
I think it would be best if I take over the catcher position and he plays Take Me Out To The Ballpark on his piano π
That one is very cute. So glad that you found these!
I’m glad we found them too!
Love the picture! We like him in the baseball gear! We think it is much cooler than a piano! Just sayin’!
I’m not big on piano, so I have to agree!
