I was all ready to work on my review, when Mom had to make a “pit stop”! Thanks to my new SnapLeash, it was a snap for Mom to leave me hooked to a sign while she dashed into the biffy. I know humans focus on where we dogs will go potty, do they have poop bags, etc, but dogs worry about what they will do if their human needs to run off somewhere real quick. The SnapLeash solves this dilemma.
What exactly is a SnapLeash? SnapLeash comes in two sizes, three colors, and is really seven leashes in one! The leashes are made of high quality premium thick nylon with strategically placed grommets and double ended snap hooks. The red, one inch by six foot leash is our personal favorite.
The SnapLeash also comes in 5/8 inch by six foot size. Both sizes are available in black, red, and blue. I was sent a 1″ red one and a 5/8″ blue one. They say 40lbs is the size cut off, but we prefer the 1″ SnapLeash. What are some things you can do with a SnapLeash?
- Walk your dog as you do with any leash, but this leash adjusts from three to six feet in length, depending on what you need at that moment.
- Walk, run, or hike hands free by placing the leash around your shoulder, waist, or snap it to your belt
- Walk two dogs at once using the snap hooks on each end to hook up the collars and hold the leash in the middle.
You can easily hook your pup up to a fence.
Simply tether the family dog up to playground equipment while you play with the mini humans.
In a snap, unhook your dog and reattach the hook as a handle to go for a walk.
Keep your pup secure in the bleachers while you take in a ballgame!
Before you panic, please note these photos are for demonstration only. Mom and I do not approve of tying up a dog and going out of site. Tethering a dog is great if you are close by and just want to secure your dog for a bit. Make sure the spot you choose is safe, secure, and do not leave your dog alone. Let commonsense prevail! SnapLeash is guaranteed for life if it for any reason falls apart or breaks, simply return it and they will send you a new one! We love this leash and will get tons of use out of it! Today I’m joining the Barks and Bytes Blog Hop hosted by 2 Brown Dawgs and Heart Like a Dog! Join up and share in the fun, or just visit a few new blogs!
That’s a very smart leash. I’m glad your mom don’t hook you up and leave though, because we have read a lot about dognapping. And who want to leave our peeps? Not us 🙂
Oh no, we are always in sight!
Hi Y’all!
Ah, I think they have a winner here and those leads will be “snapped” right up! BOL!
Y’all come by now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
They will be snapped up! We need to snap up another for ourselves.
Those are a great idea but we too would not like to leave a dog tied up around here. Glad it is OK where you are. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
We are only tied up when we are right near mom.
Great reive and pictures!
🙂
This is a really cool concept. I, as well, would not tie the dogs up somewhere and leave, but its a nice hands free alternative if you’re just relaxing!
It’s nice when Mom is putting out nose work hides or laying tracking tracks. We can watch and she sees us.
Great review! We got one of these too and mommy thinks it is pretty cool!
We wish we had thought of the concept!
now that is a clever idea – it is good to see someone putting thought into our stuff
It is super practical, we love the flexibility of length and being able to be secured for a short time.
Great review, Emma! You found some uses for this that we didn’t even think of yet (love the first one). We also received this to review and will be doing so soon….we really like it as well.
Sometimes we dogs need to be thinking about our humans and the bathroom 😉 We are going to get another one of these because they are great.
Very cool – I can see how they would come in very handy when I have to send my human into the store to buy me treats and I want to stay outside and watch the pretty girls go by…
It seems like something is always coming up where we need to be secured for a few minutes and it is such a hassle, but no more!
Very clever but ewww on the biffy! Mom uses the potty at the park sometimes and leaves me outside but that’s it. She can’t handle the whining! Love Dolly
Actually, I like to squeeze in there with Mom, but she doesn’t appreciate my help. She hates using those things but she has a weak bladder.
Interesting. We were happy to hear it was demonstration only, BOL
Snorts,

Call me the demo dog!
How cool! Great review, thanks for sharing!
We love the leash!
That is so clever. I’m glad your mom hooked you to the light post and not to the porta potty – that could have unintended consequences if say a wabbit were to pass by 😉
You are so correct. I may only be 40 lbs, but for a wabbit I could pull a biffy!
You look too cute with those shades on Emma. Don’t know if I would leave Harley alone in my neck of the woods, but I can see it coming in handy when I’m standing around jaw jacking and need my hands free for something else. Great review girl….
We don’t get left alone, it was more for the sake of a demo. It is a super handy leash!
In a snap the mom ordered one to keep in her car. I only hope that whatever she hooks me to will be strong enough to hold me. She says we may see me flying down a street with something large clunking after me. She of little faith… XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Even the 5/8″ one is good up to 40lbs. They are nice and strong, can get wet, very durable. We keep the 5/8″ one in the car for when Mom forgets our leashes, but the 1″ one is our leash. So totally practical.
That’s a pretty cool leash!
Definitely the most practical one we have ever had.
Emma, so glad you added that last part about using common sense when tying out a dog! I would hate for someone to misuse that leash. It does sound like a very handy leash though. Excellent review.

I was posing for examples and then thought people may think I get tied up and left places which never happens. Heavens, I can’t even be in the fenced yard without Mom keeping her eye on me. There are times always where Mom needs some free hands and needs to hook us up for a few minutes and this is perfect for that.
I like the idea of this leash. It’s great that you can choose between so much lengths. And the color is great too, even for a boy like moi :o)
You could go with the sexy blue 😉 I like red since I am a red kind of girl. We are going to get a black one for Bailie.
What an awesome idea! The best ideas really are the simple ones. It would be perfect for tying up when we eat at a patio or adjusting leash size when we’re in tight quarters.
Exactly. There are always times where Mom needs her hands free and this makes it so easy! We also have 6ft and 3ft leashes, but this makes it no longer necessary to choose since we can just adjust the length.
Just saw this on another blog this week, this looks like a great product! Wonderful review as always!
Thank you. We really love it!
Oh wow! This is so cool!!!! Very very interesting!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Totally practical!
That sure is bright and pretty! i love the sunglasses too Emma!
Red is my color, so it is purrfect!
Great review Emma, thanks for joining the hop!! I’ve never heard it referred to as a ‘biffy’ before, but I really love that.
I love the idea too of using it to walk two dogs. I was actually just thinking about that this morning…BOL I can see the convenience of having a leash with such versatility!
Mom is always needing a free hand or two, and this leash makes that possible easily! Maybe Biffy is a MN thing kind of like pop or soda?
Never heard of these before… they are BRILLIANT. THANKS fur tellin us about them.
So simple, and we just love them!
That looks like an awesome leash! I’m a huge fan of leashes like that! I will have to check them out!
We use leashes just like with without the grommets and options, so this is perfect now!
Thanks so much for joining the hop. We really liked the leash too. Funny about the pota potty….lol.
You know a GBGV always needs some humor in her posts.
I think it looks like a great product!
The most useful leash we own.
That’s a really simple idea of using the hook and grommet at the other end but I never thought of it and never saw a similar product over here. Great idea! … Also feel a little sad for the poor little dog sitting by themselves while the little humans play with their big humans at the playground though. Not fun at all! 😛
Lots of times dogs aren’t allowed on the playground, so it is best to just tie us up and we would rather be with you than left at home.
That’s true. 🙂
Neat concept!
Wags (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats
We’ve been using this leash like crazy and need to order another one.
I don’t leave Maya and Pierson tied up unattended either, but I can see some good uses for this. If we go to the park and I just want to sit an relax with a book, I can do it a lot easier without the dogs pulling at the leash in my hand. I can hook them up to a tree or the park bench, whatever I’m next do, and flip the pages away while they sit by me or explore.
Exactly, or we get tied to a tree while Mom sets up a nose work search or tracking run. Lots of uses!
That seems like it could really come in handy! I’ve never seen anything like it. I think it would be great when you’re eating outside and want to keep the dog nearby, but you need your hands free.
It’s that hands free thing that makes it such a great leash!
Thanks for sharing! Visiting Snap Leash now! Happy Friday! 🙂
It is our favorite leash now!
That is a pretty cool leash. ☺
It’s our favorite one now.
