It’s so great I’m turning eight! I could hardly wait! Because we are super busy with nose work and tracking during my birthday week, Mom decided to celebrate last weekend when we had time to really have a fun day. Notice my pretty necklaces? My sweetie Bentley gave them to me. Well, actually he had his mom bring them to me at BlogPaws. They are real Mardi Gras beads. My sisters and I will share them but I got to wear them all on my special day. Thank you, Bentley!
As you know from Tuesday, we had some pawsome bacon cake and ice cream to celebrate turning eight!
Today is also Bailie’s first gotcha day. I got her for a sister on my birthday last year. She said she was fine just celebrating my birthday since it is already a party with lots of good food. This was our first “sister’s” photo on the day she arrived last year. Bailie sure has changed in the last year!
My sisters were pretty excited about my birthday too.
Then we heard our favorite words…ready, set, eat!
Mom says it looks like the dog version of the hot dog eating contest on the fourth of July! Everyone is in a big rush!
The cake is crumbly, so Mom was glad we were eating it outside. It is just too hard to keep in on a plate when you have to eat with your mouth!
