What a great idea for fall – I decided to bake some cookies using fresh pumpkin! That was my brilliant idea until I had a kitchen disaster on my paws, head, and everywhere else! We love the taste of pumpkin at our house and I hear fresh pumpkin is real healthy, so why not give it a shot. I had no idea the pumpkin guts would be everywhere and create a kitchen disaster. Now what am I going to do?
Thank Dog for my baking assistant Bailie! I had her get on the phone right away and dial up Chewy.com, 1-800-67Chewy. Chewy.com has products from over 300 different brands and fast shipping too! They have warehouses all around the country to get the products to their destinations in just a couple days! If she orders up some tasty Grandma Lucy’s Organic Pumpkin Oven Baked Dog Treats, we will have them faster than I can clean up this exploded pumpkin mess!
The package arrived safe and sound at my front door, just as we had ordered.
I’m keeping a tight paw on this bag as they sound really good! No sharing of these if I like them!
Mom always wants to take photos, but I really want to get to the “snack” of the situation and get a taste! Once she opened the bag, I refused to keep my nose out of it!
Look at these adorable little pumpkin bears! They are the perfect size for training or a real light snack. If you are a tiny breed, they break easily too.
So what is so special about these cute little bears?

Finally I got to have a taste and I will not lie, they are delicious! No more kitchen disaster for me when I can just order up Grandma Lucy’s Organic Pumpkin Oven Baked Dog Treats.

This post is about food, so I’m joining the Tasty Tuesday blog hop sponsored by Kol’s Notes and Sugar the Golden Retriever. If you are looking for tasty ideas, take a look at what other dogs are baking and eating!
Oh indeed call chewy.com, those look and sound wonderful! Great pictures.
They are true dog lifesavers! Love them!
Have you got all that pumpkin cleaned up, Emma? BOL – what a mess. Great review! Jeffie, Rudy and Rosie love these pumpkin treats and the cranberry ones, too.
When we got the bag, Mom thought we would be disappointed, but they are super yummy! We did get the mess cleaned up too.
Cute and tasty. Have a terrific tasty Tuesday.
Best wishes Molly
Yep, you got the meat of the post!
Baaaawwwwwwaaaaaaaahhhhhaaaaaaa! Dat is da best review EVER!
Wags,
Ranger
Awww, thank you!
That’s the way we like to bake at our house…call someone to deliver it to us! We love Grandma Lucy’s treats though and have tried many of the flavors. I don’t think we have the pumpkin, so will have to get some of them.
We really wanted that flavor since it is fall and they are good.
Oh dear dawg, Emma. I have been away and almost missed your pumpkin disaster! So glad Mr. Chewy was able to come to your rescue…I sure hope the cleaning lady came as well. BOL Those treats look super yummy and super cute! I love the taste of pumpkin too so I may just have to order myself some! Great review.
Cairn cuddles,
Oz
I’ve noticed you have been missing. Glad you are alright and you should try the teddys, they are good and small too, so real good for smaller dogs.
BOL!!!! You crack me up Emma!!!
So glad Chewy cam to the rescue!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Chewy saved the day for us for sure!
Oh, Emma, what a pawsitively pumpkin disaster! I am happy that Ms. Chewy could quickly come to the aid of her doggies. Enjoy, 🙂 XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Chewy was there to help and the teddys they sent are real yummy, especially this time of year!
Thank HEAVENS for Bailie. She saved the day!
I was quite thankful for my assistant and Chewy.com!
Emma, sounds like your style of baking is like my husband’s. He calls it “making dinner” when he gets out the credit card and orders takeaway Chinese food.
As you know, I love to bake, but sometimes even the best chefs in the dog world have disasters!
BOL those treats are so good
Lily & Edward
They sure are!
Emma-dog, y’all crack me up! I have a whole pumpkin sitting on the dining room table right now, but it’s not for the dogs. It’s for the birds! I’ll fill the halves with water and set them in the coop for the chickens and duck.
That is a cool idea! Will they peck away at the pumpkin too?
Your kitchen looked a lot like mine does every time I try to cook. And I have thumbs, so not sure what my excuse iT!
Maybe it is the male thing? Usually, I’m a top baking dog chef, but even us great bakers need help sometimes.
I’m glad Granmy Lucy was there to help you out. And what’s better than to eat that tasty bears together with your friends… while your mom cleans the kitchen :o)
I let cat bro Bert lick up the mess. He doesn’t realize he is my servant, but he is.
From PAWSONAL Experience….. it is Better to BUY the pumpkin in a CAN…
OMD we have those SAME PUMPKIN SNACKS and they are OUT OF THIS WORLD…
JUST like Chewy.com is…. We have been buying OUR Kibble from Chewy since BEFORE Ernie came… It is SO EASY and FAST and is CHEAPER than from the Pet Stores…
I know Chewy has pawsome prices and we can find everything we need, plus that guy with the brown truck leaves it at the front door. We are thrilled!
Haha oh Emma. I tend to have a similar issue with pumpkin in the kitchen. It’s just a mess! Those treats are the cutest 🙂
I think I will stick to Chewy.com or canned pumpkin!
BOL! We can totally relate! Thanks goodness for Mr. Chewy!!
Getting pumpkin out of the furs is a nightmare!
Emma mom is having a hard time believing that your mom made a mess in her kitchen! And Bailee saved the day no less! Love Dolly
Every creature needs to have dreams 😉
Y’all seriously should have your own cooking show on the TV thingy!
We would love to, but still waiting for Hollywood to call me.
We’ve tried to cook with fresh pumpkin before as well, and we totally agree that it’s far easier to pick up the phone and have Chewy deliver some! Plus I don’t think we could make cute little bears like that anyway. 🙂
Those little bears would be tough to make, big bears, maybe?
those were the most popular cookie reviewed this month – get job
I have seen those bears making the rounds, but they are real yummy!
Those look tasty!
They are really yummy!
Oh Emma! What a mess!!! Glad Chewy was there to bail you out!
Chewy.com really saved the day!
Kosher? Hey, we think that’s way coolio! Too bad they’re not kitteh treets!!
They are dog treats, but cat bro Bert eats them…he is part dog we think.
That looks like a mess! Good thing you had backup, though! Whew! Your backup looks really yummy- and shaped like a bear to boot! Can’t go wrong! We tried the baked apple treats from Grandma Lucy’s and they were great. Maybe we’ll have to try the pumpkin ones, too!
Apple or pumpkin, both are perfect for the fall season!
Wow! Those pumpkins should come with warning labels! I love your cooking photos even when the recipe goes wrong! OMD! Little teddy bear cookies are so cute! I’m going to tell mom to check into Chewy’s. We haven’t ever had a Chewy delivery.
We love Chewy. We started with just getting review stuff, but now we are ordering almost everything from them. It is priced well, and if we get our food, it is free delivery as we are over $49.
Those are Harley’s favorites also – He goes through a bag in no time. Great post Emma, tell Bailey she was quick on her paws jumping into action!
We weren’t expecting them to be so great, but they really are tasty little bears.
Oh Bailie!!! We totally love all of your pics!! Chewy is the BEST!!! We just LOVE Chewy! So glad they could help!! We have never tried those particular treats…we have to check them out…thanks for the heads up!! xo Chloe and LadyBug
We were amazingly surprised at how good they are! We weren’t expecting much, but they turned out real tasty!
Those are yummy cookies. Brown dawgs have had them before. Much easier than making your own. 🙂
They look lovely, really tempting.
Don’t tell Katie, but I laughed when I saw her sitting in the box!
She was not amused about Mom’s idea, but she did it anyway.
OMD Those cookies are so cute! I’m sure I would have ended up doing the same thing… the only thing I make with a real pumpkin are toasted pumpkin seeds.
We heard the seeds are good for us, but we didn’t toast them. Maybe we will toast the ones from our Halloween pumpkins when we carve them.
Very convenient for lazy humans who don’t cook! Haha!
Very true!
