Recently, I was so excited! I got to go to Pahl’s Market all by myself with Mom! Pahl’s is a garden center near our house. They have all kinds of fun stuff, so we thought we would check it out together. It is nearly impossible to go shopping with three dogs and sometimes even two is difficult, so I got to take in my first garden center and have Mom all to myself. Pahl’s was all decked out for Halloween and fall, which made it extra fun!
They have this cute little red house we see all the time from the road, so I had to stop and check that out in the fur.
If you need pumpkins, a garden center seems to be a great place to find them! They had pumpkins all over the place, inside and outside!
Anyone need a jumbo chicken? This one is looking for a new home! My Gramma collects chickens, but I think this one is too big for her kitchen.
One of the greenhouses had a hay bale maze. This super scary monster was “hanging out” at the start. I was not afraid, and had no trouble posing with him.
The last creepy dude had another even more odd friend across the aisle.
Can you believe all these pumpkins in the greenhouse? As far as I can smell, it’s just pumpkins and more pumpkins! Crazy!
If you need mums, (I mean the flowers, not a mother, for those reading from the UK) they had quite a nice selection.
I did finally manage to get a good up close sniff of some of the merchandise in one of their real pretty displays. The one on my right with the ugly, long nose sure looks nasty!
My favorite find in the whole garden center was this lady. I really love her hat…you know I love hats anyway. What a fun outing with just Mom and me! I think I want to go more often! Do you ever get to go to garden centers?
I am joining the Monday Mischief blog hop brought to you by Alfie’s Blog, Snoopy’s Dog Blog, My Brown Newfies.
Looks like an interesting place to stop!
Mom said we can go back at Christmas time, that will be fun too.
I am glad you finally found a decent “pumpkin patch.” Every picture was bee-u-te-ful! I am glad you did not stay beside the mums too long…you would have been SOLD quickly for $29.99! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Oh my, I never thought about being sold! Never found an actual pumpkin patch, but a fun place isn’t bad.
What a fun place to visit with your mom Emma! We don’t have anything like that here, maybe in the suburbs. We had a pumpkin patch and doggy Halloween contest at the park yesterday that was lots of fun. Love Dolly
That sounds like fun. Most garden centers here don’t allow dogs, but this one didn’t mind a bit!
What fun and you sure found some great things!
It was a really interesting place to visit.
That is one cool garden center! Love the pumpkin lady!
She was super cute. Mom wishes she could make one for our house, but no chance.
That place looks like a great spot for fall scenery! What neat ideas they had for decorating/landscaping- and they let dogs in, too? That’s a pretty good deal! Looks like you had tons of fun- I can imagine their spring landscape ideas would look gorgeous, too!
It is perfect for fall stuff and Mom said I get to go back at Christmas time too! I guess they have a ton of flowers in the spring and summer. I know in the summer they have a drive thru corn window because I have been through that before. It’s a great dog friendly local place.
Now that is a cool garden centre. What a fun place to visit. Have a marvellous Monday.
Best wishes Molly
It is really nice, and kind of fancy like me 😉
Looks like a fun outing. That hay maze would be a good place for your nose work!
Mom would like to try tracking with Bailie in a maze like that, but there are always kids around, so it wouldn’t work.
Oh, your garden center sure is decked out for Halloween, Emma! That little house is so cute and some of those pumpkins look mighty tasty! Happy Monday
Oz
It is a super fun place! I can’t believe Mom never took me there before, but better late than never!
That looks like a really cool place Emma!
It was really fun and lots of good smells too.
I love that little red house. Looks like they have lots of fun stuff.
It’s a really nice family owned place with lots of unique items.
You are one brave soul posing with those monsters
Lily & Edward
They were creepy weren’t they.
what a great place to visit and you were so brave with all those scary things hovering around
Lots of scary stuff there, but lots of fun stuff too.
Now that is an awesome pumpkin patch! Filled with lots of great smells I’m sure. That first photo is great -perfect seasonal colors.
It is a real fun place, nice and big with lots to see and sniff.
Emma you look beautiful, of course. And a trip alone with mom –hooray. Sometimes little sisters need to just stay at home. Happy Monday! your doodle friend Dash
Sometimes it is fun to get to do things without my sisters.
that looks like FUN! We have a few near our house but Mom never thought to bring me there!
Most of them don’t allow dogs around here, but this one was real dog friendly.
It’s a scary but funny place you went to.
A bit of everything. I can’t wait to go back at Christmas time.
I love how decorated it is! All those pumpkins too 🙂
It’s a real fun place with tons of fun stuff. I get to go back again when they get the Christmas stuff out and I can’t wait!
what a cool place! who lives in that red house? is it empty? maybe all the ghosts and skeletons spend the night there? I totally love the pumpkin with the yellow nose! Is the nose a pumkin too or a pepper?
I think the nose was a gourd or squash or something like that. It was a super fun place…the house is empty and available for haunting I would think 😉
How fun! We don’t have anything like this near us 🙁
It was real fun and you fluffies would love it too. Plenty of space for you and your waggy tails as well.
What a fun outing with your mom! I love that little red house, it would make a nice dog house to play inside. ☺ I imagine your nose was working overtime with all of those smells!
That house would be an awesome dog house for sure! The place was real fun, tons of stuff to look at and, of course, sniff.
What fun! Especially love that last photo of you, Emma. You’d rock that hat!
I should have stolen the hat off that lady, she would never know!
You were the cutest pumpkin there! Not sure about that scary dude.
Wags (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats.
We aren’t big into scary, but for Halloween one needs a couple scary photos.
What a fun place to visit!!!! Your mom is awesome!!!!
It was great and we really had a nice time.
That sure looks like a fun place to snoop around!
It is the best garden center around I hear.
What a great place to visit
It was a lot of fun with lots to see and sniff.
I love to go to garden centers, but have never take any of the dogs with me. That’s something to think about! That garden center there looks especially cool though, they really get into the spirit of the season!
I can’t wait until Mom takes me back at Christmas time! Most garden places around here don’t allow dogs, so this was really great.
Mr. N has been to one complete with rabbits! It’s his favorite.
Any place with wabbits is a great place, I have to agree there!
Emma, there’s nothing wrong with a little Mommy and Me time. Harley and I have our favorite garden center also. Cute photos!
I love mommy and me time. I always have to share her with my sisters, so I really love the extra attention.
What a fun outing with Mommy! And a beautiful spot! But Rita would have been terrified of those creepy dudes. Poor thing hates Halloween! You’re so brave, Emma!
Katie used to have a fear of yard decorations all year, but she finally got over it. I don’t mind that stuff at all.
Glad you and Mom got to spend some special time together. It looks like fun.
I really love to be all alone with Mom and get all the attention!
Wow, dat are a ton of pumpkins!
I know, it was amazing how many there were!
What a fantastic adventure you had. Doesn’t look like you got into any mischief though – you were a good doggie.
Technically, no mischief as in trouble, but I was hanging out with creepy dudes and doing lots of sniffing the merchandise.
What a fun and festive outing! I don’t take the dogs to garden because they would pee on everything!
Girls are much easier. We never thought much about it until we got into nose work and the boys are always having peeing issues. I enjoy marking too, but don’t have the same needs as the boys I guess.
what a pretty market… love the photos that come out of there! 🙂 You look great!
It’s a great place to go for ideas and plants and stuff.
Love the photos, Emma. And you’re so brave posing with all those scaries!
I have no fear of them, but watch dog Kuvasz Katie is often scared of stuff like that.
Hey Emma
That place looks pawsome!! We don’t have anywhere like that here, doh!
Have fun on Halloween guys!
Your pal Snoopy 🙂
It is a great place. I hope to go back at Christmas time.
It’s nice to get all the attention sometimes, Emma! I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many pumpkins in one place!
In an house with five pets, alone time is extra special.
Our garden centers do not allow animals:(
Most of the ones around here don’t either. I’m guessing people let their dogs pee on stuff and that is why. But this place is real friendly. Mom has never seen a dog there before, but they said dogs are welcome, so I went.
What a neat garden store! The mums look beautiful and look at all those beautiful pumpkins! Fall is definitely our favorite time of year!
So many pumpkins, a girl doesn’t know what to do!
You look so pretty among the orange pumpkins. it looks like fun and how special to have mommy to yourself.
Mommy and me time is always really special to me. I’m a real mom’s girl.
