Ladies and Gentlemen, my cute face is now in a new book! As you know I have done some modeling in the past with Barbara O’Brien. She decided to put together some of her favorite dog photos and create a book which she titled DOGFACE. I received an invitation to the book release party and was also asked to bring Mom along with me, how exciting! The party was held in a facility that normally holds dog training and agility classes, thus the odd decor.
Because Barbara is an animal person, she did ask that anyone coming to the party bring a donation for shelter pets. What a great idea that was! Look at the pile of stuff, and this was just at the beginning of the party! I helped Mom pick out a bag of food at the store before we went so we would have something tasty to donate.
Even though we arrived right when the party started, there was already a line to buy the book. I had to wait patiently like everyone else to buy my copy. Luckily, I did see several people that I know at the party, so while waiting we got to hang out and catch up which was fun. I also got tons of petting and attention from strangers wanting to know more about me. It’s a good thing I had Mom bring my business cards along as I gave out quite a few to new friends I met.
Finally we were at the table, and I was able to put my paws on the actual book. I only needed one copy for myself, so that is all I bought. Mom let me use my own money to buy the book which was fun. Now that I sometimes make some money, I can afford these types of “fun” purchases.
After getting my very own copy, I had to go through it and find myself. My photo is on the right hand side close to the back of the book. You can see the resemblance, can’t you? I’m using my serious look like I did in the book. It isn’t that I don’t want the other dogs in the book, but I put my paw over the other dog so people would focus only on me.
Next we had to get in line again to get my DOGFACE book signed by Barbara. I guess if you go to the book release party, and you know the author, it is proper to get their
pawtograph autograph. This line was really long! I’m thinking since I’m in the book, I should be able to go to the head of the line, but no. We waited around 45 minutes and I was getting bored as you can see. I kept looking up at Mom to ask how much longer.
Eventually, we made it to Barbara and she
pawed signed my book for me. I also got to take a nice photo with her and DOGFACE the book on the page with my photo. Once I had accomplished this, we were set to head home! Thank you Barbara for putting me in your book and for letting me bring my mom along to your book release party! Hope to see you in front of the camera again soon!
If you would like to get your own copy of DOGFACE, minus the pawtograph autograph, it is available on Amazon.

well that is just too exciting – you are a famous doggie for sure now !
I’m pretty darn excited about it.
Hooray!! Is Bailie jealous?
Bailie doesn’t really care, she is pretty easy going. I would be jealous if it was her in the book and not me though.
How exciting! That’s a great photo of you, Emma!
Thank you. It’s fun being in another book.
What fun! You are famous. Thanks so much for joining the hop!
I try my best to get my mug out there. I love the attention.
Autograph, autograph. Well done to you. Have a tremendous Thursday.
Best wishes Molly
I should have given pawtographs at the party.
Emma, you look beautiful in ALL your pictures. I doubt I could have waited in line for 45 minutes, but it is pawsome you got Barbara’s pawtograph! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
It was worth the wait. I had to thank her personally for putting me in her book.
My mommy is really concerned about your mom. That was an awful fall she took. I hope Bailie gave the nasty driver her middle claw! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Mom looks like a zombie, but she will be alright. She took it easy yesterday and got a good rest last night. Bailie is still trying to figure out what exactly happened and why Mom was lying down all of the sudden. Thanks for thinking of her, but we have her covered.
Wow Emma, that is super cool. You look awesome too!
Thank you.
Emma, two books. You are so famous and you deserve it!
Thank you! Actually, it is my third book as two years ago I was in my friend Snoopy’s Mischief Master Class book. I love it all.
Emma, your talents are many! Not only did you write a book, but your pretty face is featured in a book!
You did well with having to do all that waiting, we agree you should have gotten to go to the head of the line.
It was very nice that the author made it into an opportunity to get donations for the shelter pets too.
Barbara loves animals so it was appropriate that she had the donations.
Congratulations Emma, you are truly photogenic! Very cool. =D
Thank you, it is pretty exciting.
Emma – That is PAWsome! How exciting, congrat’s my FURRend to you and your Mom. Love all the photos’ happy to hear you enjoyed the PAWty too! Way to go Girl…
It was great, I love all the attention. Mom says I have a bit of an ego, but I don’t know about that.
Wow, you’re sure piling up those book appearances. It’s only a matter of time before someone tries to write an unauthorized story of your life. π
Oh, that would not be a good thing. I sure hope that doesn’t happen.
The rise of America’s Next Top (Dog) Model continues! Surprising no one, your page in the book looks awesome.
Do you know when that reality show is taking auditions?
Emma, you’re famous! Congratulations on the advancement of your modeling career. Watch out for the puparrazzi!
I love the puparrizzi, the more pics the better for me π

Sadly, Mom didn’t make it into the book, not enough fur on her face. I’m the face of our family π
Congratulations Sweetie! Of course, I think that you should be on the cover and every single page, but I may be prejudice. XXOO Bentley
Sometimes you have to wait until almost the end for the best part. That is what my mom told me about it.
you bought the book with your own paws and with your own money? great! I like confident girls! can you give me a pawprint on my cheek as an autograph? I will never take a bath and I never will wash it away :o)
I love a good fan like you! I am a girl that likes to handle things with my own paws.
Look at you in a book! That’s awesome!
Pretty cool I think.

How wonderful!! It’s always nice to get recognized for our accomplishments! Thanks so much for joining the blog hop. I think I straightened out the blog so there’s no confusion on the contest prize. Although if you really want a fire hydrant or garbage can….LOL
We were really hoping for the garbage can for all the poop around here! It was just funny because we had no clue there were more photos coming and that all happened before Mom’s face plant…can you imagine how it would go down now?
Dang, that looks like it was a super fun time Emma!
She is doing a cat face book too in the near future. I have a feeling that party won’t be as social π
