Well now, who is that adorable little puppy? Debucher Baguette (aka Emma)? Oh yes, I was going to post about milestones today and today is a big milestone at our house. Exactly eight years ago today, Mom flew to London to meet me for the very first time and take me back home to Germany with her. Hard to believe that was me as I look totally different now! If you want to find out more about my early years, see my GBGV parents, and find out how I ended up in Minnesota, of all places, check my About Me page.
A few days ago I hit another milestone, I completed three years of blogging! My blogiversary was November 8, but I rarely post on Saturdays, so I decided to combine milestones and make one nice post. For an eight year old dog, I have quite a list of accomplishments! Back in 2007 when I left my GBGV parents in the UK, who would have guessed I would be the founder and CBO of the My GBGV Life Empire just a few years later! Mom says it isn’t an empire, but I think it is. I’ve worked hard on my blogging and social media skills to get to where I am at right now! I’m also very proud of myself and have developed an ego to go along with my position…says the mom…I tend to disagree with that notion.
I’m also pretty darn proud of having traveled to five countries and eighteen states in my eight years. My goal is to hit at least seven more states in the coming years. We shall see if I hit that goal or not. I love to travel, and I am real good in the car and in hotels, so it is a good possibility.
The other crazy milestone I have reached is to be appearing in an actual book for the past three years! All three books make excellent gifts for dog lovers or just for yourself if you enjoy dog books…that is a hint…the holidays are right around the corner! The books are available as e-books or in print on Amazon. Click on the book titles to see them on Amazon.
In 2013, last year, I published my own book, Tales of a French Scent Hound! In my opinion, one of the very best books on the market!
And this year, if you recall a couple weeks ago, DOGFACE came out with my adorable mug as one of the featured dogs.
I have accomplished many more things in the past eight years, these are just a few of the bigger milestones, and I hope to have many more in the future. Sometimes a girl just needs to brag a bit, but I think I have done many things a dog should be proud of and tell the world about.
To celebrate what I have so far achieved as a GBGV dog in this world, I’m going to giveaway a pawtographed copy of my book, Tales of a French Scent Hound, to one lucky reader. To win, all you have to do is post a comment telling me what you enjoy about my blog, and/or what you would like to see on my blog. The giveaway is open to anyone over the age of 18, residing on the planet earth. If you live outside the USA, you will be responsible for any customs fees if any are incurred, and I cannot guarantee delivery prior to the holidays.
