Hey, there! It’s me, Emma, in the manger with Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus. Since there were no wise men, I was blending myself in as one wise dog. They weren’t very friendly folks, didn’t even say one word to me when I posed with them!
I think in Minnesota a family needs more than a manger for shelter! What is that I see? A baby Jesus clad only in swaddling clothes? That baby is going to freeze to death if they don’t bundle him up – how irresponsible of them! No wonder his arms are stretched out, he wants help!
Looks like I better check him out and see if he is alright. Man, I keep hearing Jesus is the reason for the season, but I’m not so sure. I think an Eskimo may be a better reason for the season in Minnesota! Happy Second Sunday in Advent my friends! Remember, don’t leave your pets or children out in the cold!
Today I’m joining the Black and White Sunday Blog Hop, with a splash of Christmas red, sponsored by Dachshund Nola and Sugar the Golden Retriever. Remember to stop by and visit some of the other blogs on the hop to meet new friends!
