Just another -17 Fahrenheit morning in Minnesnowta. I have to wear my blue (not suede) shoes to keep from getting paw freeze in these temps. I have my furs all puffed as well. Sure wish I had red shoes, but my size is blue which can give me the blues.
Today, Iβm joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws today! Donβt forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
Nevermind you still look pawsome even in blue. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Best wishes Molly
Thanks.
They match your collar, so you look very co-ordinated!
Right now they do, but starting on Friday I will have a different collar and it will be a fashion disaster!
Me too Emma, me too, sigh. Love Dolly
Life can be tough for us pups!
Don’t have the blues Emma… You look so cute in your picture. Your puffed furs are so pretty! Get back inside and have an awesome day!! Maybe your mom will let you bake something today!! your doodle friend Dash.
Thank you. Looking forward to the warmer temps coming up so we can get back to our regular schedule.
Well, I think they look nice, Emma! Sure better than your actual paws being blue! π
Now that is a good point and being in MN as you know, that could happen.
yes, with your coloring, definitely red! Plus all the connotations of red shoes. You look mahvalous tho
LeeAnna at Not afraid of color
Sadly, my size is blue, and Katie is purple. I think red is super tiny dogs.
It really sucks when a girl can’t get the right pair of shoes huh Emma? I must say I do like your blue shoes and matching collar though.
Right now it coordinates, but we rarely wear blue because Mom says it is for boy dogs.
Katie think you look smashing!
Thank you.
Brrrrrrr! You look pawsome in your blue shoes and matching collar! Take care of those paws. XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Thank you. At least I’m coordinated, I guess.
I think you look fabulous in your Blue (not Suede) Shoes! Happy WW…and have some fun in the snow for me!
Oz
It is warmer this morning, so we had a long walk, saw some wabbits and then Bailie and I went to town with chase and wrestle in the yard. Now, time for a nap.
Way better than having frozen toes. Blue is a coooool color.
Mom thinks blue is too boyish for her girls, but we don’t have a choice with these shoes. If we get the ones Torrey has, black is better.
blue shoes are better than the red ones… you always have to become a ballet dancer when you wear red shoes…that’s exhausting, because that dancers get no treats :o)
True, I hear they starve themselves and I wouldn’t ever do that on porpoise! I guess I am stuck in blue.
We are freezing here too! Sheesh! I just want out normal winter weather back, not this “can’t stand the cold” weather! BTW I think the blue looks lovely on you π
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
We have our heatwave today! Walking in +15, no shoes, it was great! I would think you will get it soon.
Oh my word! I won’t tell you I’m freezing at 56 F
Lily & Edward
It was actually a beautiful morning and we walked for half an hour in the crisp air, but the blue shoes I’m not loving.
that is waaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to cold for us – brrrrrrr we have shiver jut thinking about it
Which is why you are getting 2 bags of treats for enduring that snowy, cold photo π Not really, but it sounds good.
You rock those blue not-suede shoes!
–Wags (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats.
I still wish I could get them in red!
I completely understand your miffed look. A pup can only take so much.
Today we are above zero with a balmy 15 and a nice long walk. Felt almost like July!
Minus 17, yikes! I don’t feel quite as cold here now in Ohio. I think the blue shoes look great with your collar. π
We get that sometimes around here but it is beautiful, we just have to wear our shoes or we are in serious paw pain.
Great colour!
Mom and I think it is more for boys, but my size is blue, so I have to wear them.
Poor Emma. It’s hard to be a fashion plate in winter.
Perhaps you can get the mom to glue some rhinestones onto your boots.
Nah, not worth it. I don’t have to wear them very often, and they wear out pretty fast. No shoes today…back to bare pawed walking and chasing wabbits!
You know that I think you are cute in any color. The main thing is to keep those tootsies safe! Minus 17 is inconceivable to me! It will be in the upper 50s here, but very gloomy looking. β₯
I think red would be much better, I have to look good even in the cold you know. We were at +15 this morning, so it feels like summer and I could go bare pawed once again thank goodness!
You do look so very pretty on those though!
Thank you, but I prefer red.
You look so cute!
Purrs xx
Athena and Marie
Thank you, kitties.
Don’t you look precious in those tootsie warmers?! π
Woofs from Earl, Ethel and I at Earl’s World!
I’m not real sure, but they keep my paws from freezing.
You look great in Blue!
Thank you!
Emma, you do look Pawsitively sparkling in your blue shoes. I once had white shoes and wanted red, so I took my crayons and colored them. Crayons don’t work very well on patten leather, but then they also come off pretty good. MAybe yo could get red ones to go OVER the blue ones? then your feet would be doubly warm??? Just an idea.
I think the red size is super duper small, so that won’t work π At least I only have to wear them once and a while. I don’t want to look like a boy in blue.
We woke up to 16 below this morning, but it made it all the way up to 20 above this afternoon. The only good part about that is that 20 feels pretty warm after 16 below.
It looks like your blue shoes match your collar though, that’s good, right/?
This morning we had +15. Mom was sweating on our walk because it was so warm!
RIGHT! VERY good taste. Blue collar – blue shoes
Feeling a bit blue I guess, but it is always important to look good, you know.
BOL! This photo is just too much!
I think thank you is the right thing for that comment??? π
Dat are some crazy cold stuff!
Yep, we live real frozen up her sometimes in the winter!
I love your blue shoes!! <3 They look so good on you!!
Mom says they look to boyish for us girls.
Woowza, -17 F is doggy shoe weather for sure. The forecast called for ice rain this morning, but thankfully the weather people were totally wrong! HA! it was actually in the 30s and walkable weather!
We have a heatwave now…15 above this morning and up to 30 on the weekend.
Yikes -17? That should be illegal! Those blue shoes look very cute!
It is actually wonderful when it is so cold, but we can only walk for 20-30 mins in that cold.
I’m impressed you can walk in the blue shoe. I don’t think I would have been able to walk if I wear them LOL.
They are the easiest shoes to wear. We have tried several and these are great. Barely notice them once we get moving.
Well, I really like you in blue! Boca wears size red!
Maybe we could trade? Mom says blue is a boy color and she doesn’t even like my blue snowman collar very much because it is blue.
It’s ok! All the humans say red is so great, but I LITERALLY can’t see what they’re talking about! (Get it? Cause dogs are red-green colorblind?) *wags* – Gilligan from WagsAhoy.com
True! Blue and yellow are much better for us, but I’m told red is what I look best in!
It was -4 degrees F here this morning so mom had to put our booties on too.
Millie & Walter
I think lots of dogs have had to wear shoes the last few days, but thankfully, we are having a warm up so I can go bare pawed again!
I love your shoes, Emma! I used those boots on some of my dog running clients when I lived in North Dakota. I think the blue looks pretty on you!
Thank you. They are almost like wearing nothing which we like. Once they are on, we race and play as if we are not wearing them, but they crack and get punctures so easily.
You sure look cute in your shoes, even if they are blue! (You’d look really stunning in red though!) Man, you’re brave to go out in those temps!
It actually feels really nice, that crispy cold air! Mom says she loves the feeling of her face freezing, we don’t know what she means since we are covered in fur!
I like your blue shoes!
Thank you.
You’re lucky to have snow shoes, even if they aren’t your favorite color. My cousin dog cut her paw on some ice and after getting stitches she had to wear the cone of shame.
Not good! I figure we can cut our paws any time of year when we step on something sharp. Paw injuries are no fun at all! These boots are real easy to wear at least.
We like the way your blue shoes match your blue collar!!
We hope things warm up for you soon!!
Smileys!

We are back out of the freezer here now which is nice!
Not having your fashion represent you can be a very big problem. Have you considered transitioning to the new black boots? You would look stunning!
We go through these so quickly, Mom buys them on sale in the spring and last year the only color left was the blue, no black. Maybe next time. Since I very rarely wear blue, black would be much better.
Its been cold again here too. Nice boots.
We have warmed up, thankfully!
Our size is purple and they look so cute on the dogs. π
Katie has purple and looks good.
Paint them red? I wonder if you could dye them.
They don’t last us long enough to bother with it. They get holes from stuff on the street, or they get tears, so I will just have to deal with blue the few times I need them in the winter.
I love your little blue shoes – even if they’re not suede….
I love them too when they are not on my own paws!
