We are always joy full at our house since Joy is my mom’s name! But, for week three of the #PBSG #52Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge they specifically asked for the word joyful, so a photo of Mom wouldn’t work. I asked my photographer to help me out, she got this shot of me looking very joyful. I even amazed myself with that smile!
Since we took several other shots looking for joyful, I wanted to share a few with you all. My photographer is working on shooting in manual mode, but with the action, bright snow and shade areas, it is not easy to get the perfect shot, but I think we got a few you will enjoy. I’ll start with me practicing flying.

Nice photos. You sure look happy. Try taking pictures of brown or black dogs in the snow and bight sun. It is super hard to get faces. They seem to fall into shadow more often than not. When we go to training I practice on the dogs there. Usually there is an assortment of color so it is a good time to work on my photography.
Solid white isn’t always easy in the snow shots either but black and brown are real tough.
I have found goldens are really easy to take pictures of in the snow. I told hubby to get me one of those…lol.
It’s true! My photos of Sheba in the snow usually come out the best of any of the dogs.

I am joyful. We love racing around in the snow in the winter when it isn’t so extremely cold out.

It took my photographer a long time to trust manual, but now she does a pretty good job with it and the photos really do come out better than with auto or action mode.
