We are already into week four of our #PBSG #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge! The word of the week is dream, and dreaming is what I am doing and what my post today is all about!
As a new blogger, I entered several contests, but made the decision to never do it again. I learned popularity contests on the web are simply not for me. I don’t feel right hounding people to vote for me so contests are a thing of the past. The one thing I am interested in would be the Nose to Nose Award nominations. Being a scent hound it would be very fitting to receive a nomination! The BlogPaws Nose to Nose Award nominations are now open and nominations will be accepted through January 31. There is no public voting as the nomination winners are decided on by a panel of judges.
I often receive comments and messages from my readers telling me how amazing my photos are, or how much you love my writing style, blog or specific post. For this reason, I’m asking for your nominations. There are twelve areas for blogs to be nominated in. The ones I could see my blog in are: Best Written Blog Post, Best Pet Humor Blog, Best Dog Blog, and Best Pet Photo On A Blog. To nominate my blog all you have to do is go to the nomination site and fill out the form. Simple raise your paw in a vote for Emma to help my dream come true. To assist you in filling out the form, some of the information you will need about me is as follows:

I know you all won’t leave me hanging! I mean really, can you say “no” to my sweet little face? The problem is Mom doesn’t like to ask anyone for anything, but I’m a dog who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go get it. I got some only dog time last week which was really fun, but being an only dog would be boring in the long run. I do have to admit I would prefer catching a wabbit to a nomination, but maybe I can have both.

We know EXACTLY how you feel. After being “hounded” (sorry) to promote ourselves in the Petties last year (they suck you in, dangling that donation to your shelter if you win, yanno) we vowed we would NOT do it again. It just felt so …icky.
We’d like to win a Nose to Nose for cat blogging but we haven’t had the heart to ask for nominations on our blog yet, either. But we’re happy to nominate you, dear friends!

It’s good to dream big. I gave up entering contests too because of all the contest bots and stuff it’s impossible to win.
Contests are awful, but this award is great since it is just nominations and a panel of judges chooses.
