Valentines Day is quickly approaching, which means I need to get my Valentines made. Being a scent hound, this year I thought something my dog friends would really appreciate with their noses would be a lot of fun. This book seems to have some great tips for me!
Today, Iβm joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws today! Donβt forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
Gotta get ready for the big day – just no chocolates okay π

I don’t know of a dog who wouldn’t appreciate a real smelly Valentine.
I’m sure you have something creative and exciting cooked up for Valentine’s Day!
–Wags (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats.
Speaking of cooking, I will be in the kitchen on Tuesday making something tasty π

I’m making Valentines treats next Tuesday. Time to get back in the kitchen.
We need to STUDY Valentines???? We though all we needed to do was Eat the Conversation Hearts that come with them.
I want to make some nice stinky ones for some special dogs and I don’t know how π
of course, I bet that’s a super book! I wish I would have such a special valentine…as yucky and stinky as the chicken feet Santa brought to me :o)
I always get boring smell free ones. Time to spice things up in the Valentine world.
Oh, that would be a great idea for a Valentine! Looking forward to the β₯ 2 β₯ dance with you. Huggles, Bentley
I’m looking for something real stinky to make or you and your nose π XXOO

Stinky valentines? Sounds perfect to me!
Made for dogs, I’m pretty sure.
I can’t imagine why the title says “Yuckiest” when we all know “Stinkiest” is just divine! You look adorable, as usual Emma. I love when you get all dolled up!
Cairn cuddles,
Oz
Have to dress for the occasion no matter what it is you know. Stinky is wonderful and not yucky, but humans don’t seem to get it.
Smart to study up! I’ll probably get a Valentine for Rita, but not for the hubs. π
A nice stinky one…maybe scratch and sniff squirrel scent?
Looks like you’re actually reading lol
Don’t be silly, I can read, can’t you?
Not a smelly Valentine Emma – oh nooooooooo
What? We dogs love smelly stuff. I think these will be wonderful!
You look plenty Emma!
π
I can’t get enough of you in your reading glasses
LeeAnna at not afraid of color
I feel like they give me a bit of added “smart”.
That sounds like a fun project, Emma! π
I know it will be lots of fun. I may do it while Mom goes to the office.
ooooooh ROCK ON! That sounds like OUR kind too! ~ faraday
In that case, I best keep my cat bro Bert away from me when I’m working on the Valentines.
The stinkier the better!
Right on, and maybe a splash of good dried mud?
BOL!
You won’t be laughing when you smell yours in the mailbox!
Wow! that looks like a great resource. I think I will just give my sister a wide birth ( she is “tooting ” a lot lately, and maybe give my people parents icy pawed hugs ( if it keeps icing by then- or snowing).
Chablis
I will only make these special ones for my dog pals. For Mom she gets lots of hugs, cuddles, and kisses.
Human traditions and holidays are weird, aren’t they? I think the way you show you love someone is to get some extra sniffs!
Very true, but a special smelly Valentine in the mail would be fun for dog pals π
That book is your literary soulmate!
I know, crazy I found such a “bible” for myself.
Haha, seems to be a perfect fit from a K9 perspective! Which pup wouldn’t love a stinky, yucky day?!
You are correct. These Valentines are perfectly suited for canines!
We have to wonder how you found this perfect book!
The local library. They have lots of great books.
