Ever since I was a tiny puppy, I have always had a safe spot under my big sister Katie. When I was real young and other dogs would approach us, she would grab me with her front paw and pull me under her for protection. Since I still fit somewhat under Katie, I thought this would be perfect for the 52 Snapshots of Life week 18 word “below”.
Today, I’m joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Don’t forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
My friends at The Lazy Pitbull had the idea for the #PBSG and #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge. The linky for the current week will be posted on Friday mornings. Be sure to see what other blogs come up with for the word of the week!
That is a frame worthy photo!
Thanks. Katie sits kind of goofy these days, but I don’t mind. She does the best she can.
you have the bestest sister ever…and this photo is just wonderful, that’s heartwarming even on a siberian-day :o)
Thank you. Katie and I have a special bond. I love her to death.
That’s a really sweet story about Katie. I can easily imagine her protecting you like that when you were small.
I always wanted to meet new dogs and play, but she didn’t let me. She grabbed me with her big strong front leg and swept me underneath her until she was sure it was safe. She is a true sweetheart and we have a very special bond.
Katie will always be your big sister Emma. Make sure as she gets older, you start learning how to take good care of her. What a perfect photo about love….
She is almost 13 now and I do exercise a lot of patience with her. I will always love her and have a special bond with her.
How absolutely pawsome that Katie adores you as much as we do! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
She really does love me, even when I behave like a real stinker.
Aww wow! That is such a lovely photo!

Dory
I can’t imagine living in a herd of boys like you do! I bet they would protect you if necessary.
That’s what older siblings are supposed to do for little sisters. ♥ What a sweet picture.
Katie would do anything for her family. She is wonderful.
I just love this!
Thank you. She is my special sister.
Katie is such a good big sister! YOU ARE ONE LUCKY DOG, Emma. remember to return the favor as she ages and also keep being the good big sister for Bailey. It’s tough being the middle kid! You are doing an admirable job!
Someday I hope to be a middle kid – or even the older kid, my big sister, Lucy , is really smaller than me because she is only a PBGV, but what she losses in size she makes up in attitude!
Your friend, Chablis
Katie and I have a very special bond like no other. Bailie and I don’t have the same bond, but maybe in time. We enjoy hanging out, but it isn’t the same.
No matter how big you get, a little sister is always a little sister. Very cute.
I’m the smallest one in the family. Even little Bailie is bigger than me. A true middle kid these days.
You are such a cute pair. Big and little. Just bring in Ethel, and you’d look huge, Emma!!! I would believe that even Earl is smaller than you.

I’m sure they are smaller than me. I’m 38 lbs, Katie is twice my size!
Now that’s too cute!
Thank you.
OMD what a wonderful big sister Katie is, you are so lucky to have her. Love Dolly
She is the best big sister any pup could ask for. She is so patient, puts up with all our nonsense and still loves us.
Ahhh sweet

OMD I (Frankie Furter) USED to do that with my Kid Bro… NOW he is HOOGE and HE does it fur ME…
We ADORE that picture of you… UNDER your sister.
I think under and below are pretty much the same. Katie is tall, so she has dogs and cats under her a lot.
What a great photograph for the snapshot of the week.
Thank you 🙂
That is a wonderful safe spot under your big sister. That’s what big sisters are for.
She has been my true guard dog since I was 9 weeks old. I love her.
It’s great to have a safe spot!
She definitely keeps us all safe.
Oh my, we can sure feel that sister love!
Katie and I have a real special bond.
Aren’t big sisters great? That is so sweet how Katie protects you. What a great idea for this theme too, I’m not coming up with a lot of ideas for it!
The photo challenge sounded so easy at first, but some of these words are real challenging!

Big sisters are wonderful.
That is so cute! I’m glad that Katie has been there for you from the beginning. We all need a little help in life – especially at the beginning.
Now being older, she needs help, so I try to be patient with her and hang out with her a bit more.
Aww, Katie takes such good care of you Emma! What a great big sister you have!
Mom and Katie both spoil me. I’m very lucky.
Sweet to see Katie still protects you Emma.

She is a real genuine sweatheart.
It’s always nice to have a safe place to be, especially if you are a little puppy. How sweet of Katie to protect you:)
Even now as she is older, she would still try her best to protect any of us if necessary.
Oh so sweet. I love that she protects you, and that must have been SO cute when you were a puppy.
Mom was always amazed at how she would scoop me up and put me under her.
Oh Katie! That might be one of the sweetest things I’ve ever heard. How lucky Emma is to have a sister to protect her.
Katie is a true dear, and she would do anything to protect us all. She didn’t like me the first week, but after that, we became BFF’s and still hang out a lot together.
What a lovely sisters moment!
Katie and I are pretty tight.
