Judging from these dry watering cans, I would say the April showers season is over with. The funny thing is, we didn’t get much rain in April, but May is looking wet so far! So much for the April showers theory.
I got to take a little adventure trip the other day, just me and Mom. We found these pretty, brightly colored, watering cans and loved them. Mom said one wouldn’t be the same as all the colors together, and we certainly don’t need like a bizillion huge watering cans, so we simply took a photo instead. You can find out more about our fun outing on my Monday Mischief post tomorrow.
Today I’m joining the Black and White Sunday Blog Hop, sponsored by Dachshund Nola and Sugar the Golden Retriever. Remember to stop by and visit some of the other blogs on the hop to meet new friends!

Looks like May showers here too!
Lots of rain coming up…bummer, but we need rain.
your mom is very wise. you can take a photo too instead to buy all things… maybe my mom got the message too hahahaha… seems the rain hasn’t noticed that we have may and the april showers are over… it’s still like living in venice here :o) have a super sunny may sunday :o)
Do you sing in a gondola if it is like Venice?
that’s a good idea… I sing falsetto… it drives my momma crazy :o)

You just can’t predict Mother Nature, Emma. Here’s wishing you dry days ahead.
It is looking pretty wet for at least the next week, but we do need some rain I guess…Minnesota isn’t supposed to be a desert!
Those sprinkler cans make a nice setting Emma!

I’m wondering if this was the garden center trip that resulted in muddy shoes…

Do you have May flowers smiling at you? XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Flowers are finally starting to pop up around here.

It looks like you went to a garden center, Emma, that is definitely a fun outing, can’t wait to hear more. We love the colorful watering cans too. We’ve been pretty dry so far…I hope you’re not sending all that rain our way! 🙂
We are getting a huge down pour right now. We need it, as it is really dry.

Just love this photo with the bright colored cans. bright colors are my thing. Have a great day.
We love bright colors. We find it so depressing how so many people wear tan and black colors all the time, brighten it up!

Very cute photo. Our weather forecast predicts rain all next week.
Our week of rain just started. I best start preparing our boat.
I just love funky things for the garden and those are great! We are supposed to have “April Showers” Monday and Tuesday, but we are super warm which I am sure you are too!
80’s with blaring sun and I was in the car the entire weekend at a nose work trial. Mom is slightly pink/red and I’m worn out.

We always have May showers, Emma. And June, July and August showers as well. April is one of the drier months in Florida. Happy Sunday!
May is looking real wet at this point, but we do need some rain.
Talent Hounds says
Beautiful weekend here thank goodness so May is starting well. Kilo the Pug and I are not keen on showers at all. X Susie and Kilo
It was a hot and sunny weekend here, but no one including Mom is a fan of heat at my house. Now the rain has started and it will also cool down a bit.
Golden Woofs: SUGAR says
It’s going to rain this week … just fixed the lawn and it will be good. Happy Sunday. Golden Woofs
The rain will really finish “greening” things up around here and we need rain, but it isn’t real fun.

This is the frist week that it hasn’t rained buckets on the bayou. We are hoping that it stays clear so the ground can dry.
You must have been facing north and sneezed as we are slated for at least a week with lots of rain…It blew north to my place.

Great photo. Your smile is more colorful then the watering cans!
Awww, thank you 🙂

We’re experiencing may showers, too. But we need rain, as well as sun, so it’s not all that bad… as long as it doesn’t collide with our agility days!!! We love your watering can photoshoot. Gorgeous; you look so happy that the rain has gone.
I spent the weekend at a nose work trial, but the rain did not start until 10 minutes after we arrived back home…very lucky!
Such a pretty photo, Emma!
Don’t you love when you get to go on a special one-on-one outing?!!
I love Mom and me time. Just had the entire day with her today and it was awesome!
So much fun! We try to make sure to get the boys some individual time every once in a while and they seem to really enjoy it!
Mom says Katie and Bailie don’t seem to really care much one way or the other, but I really need mommy and me time. We spent all day together yesterday at a nose work trial and I just soak up the special attention.

We had tonsa April showers – looks like more May ones are on da way too.
Lucky for us April was pretty dry, but May seems to be soaking wet.
Had to chuckle. I am reading this just after it rained here. Guess May will be a wet month after all. We definitely need the rain.
I absolutely LOVE the watering cans! Where did you find them?
We were at nose work trials in the heat all weekend and were worried about the storms yesterday afternoon. We finished up and on the way home were hit with a small shower. Got home, Mom took my sisters for a quick walk and seriously, 2 minutes after they got in the big rain with hail and all hit. We need the water, but are thankful it held off. Pahl’s Market is where we were.
What pretty watering cans!!
Perhaps May showers will bring June flowers for you all??

Some flowers are starting to pop up here, and I think the May showers will help finish the process of everything turning green and starting to bloom.

I guess Mother Nature is running a bit behind, sending showers in May. Oh well, it’s a girl’s prerogative to be a little late, isn’t it? I love this photo, what a cool effect to have just the watering cans in bright colors! I would have bought them all LOL! I can’t resist.

We love bright, fun colors at our house too. These cans were so pretty.

We definitely need some rain. It is so dry up at our cabin, they had a red flag warning. We also saw the start of a brush fire on the side of the road as we were leaving training on Saturday. It was not too big, so I am sure they were able to take care of it quickly. That is a nice photo.
We got a huge shower last night which helped, and this week there is a lot of rain in the forecast.
My Mommy wants to buy all the watering cans, Emma! She always does, but then she says “I’m not made of money” and doesn’t buy any watering cans at all. I like all the toys at the dog toy store, but Mommy makes gaspy noises when she looks at the price tags so I never ever get any toys at all. Not even one. Poor Bruin.
Humans are always hung up on the money thing. Thankfully I have some money of my own to help out with things and it gets us more stuff.

What a coincidence, same in Denver! The weatherman even said May is our wettest month and I always thought it was April. We got zilch in April and it’s been wet and cool since the calendar switched months. I’m not complaining mind you…last May 5, we got 4-5 inches of snow so the liquid stuff is much better. 🙂
We are big lovers of cold and snow, but right now, it is just a waste of snow since it will melt. We prefer rain now.
Tails Around the Ranch says
Me too, no shoveling involved. 😉

We haven’t been getting that much rain here either. Thankfully, we’re not as bad off as California.
We are no where near what CA is going through, and we will get a lot of rain this week.
