Happy Cinco de Mayo to everyone! I’m not a Mexican dog, but I’ll use any excuse to have a little celebration! This year I’m hanging out with my pal, Señor Frog. I’m going to whip up some tasty frozen wooferitas for our little party, and tell you how to make some yourself.
All you need is some low fat, low salt chicken stock, an ice cube tray, a blender, and the proper wooferita glasses. Put some of the chicken stock in the ice cube tray and freeze. Put some of the ice cubes in the blender.
Add liquid chicken stock to the ice in the blender. Be careful it may cause a #tongueoutTuesday automatic reaction as it sure smells good.
Blend up the ice and liquid well. Try to control yourself in the process. If you are a scent hound, your nose may go a bit wild.
Once blended, take the container off the base and get ready to serve up the wooferitas.
I always love to give my stuff a taste before serving my guests. I would feel terrible if the wooferitas did not taste good! These taste fabulous!
Señor Frog was dying to have a taste. I guess frogs like chicken as much as dogs. We are bellied up to my bar, and I think my wooferita is starting to hit my brain.
Man, these drinks are something! I’m feeling a bit woozy! Heavens, I’m even starting to see things! Señor Frog do you see a cat in a sombrero on the bar? I think if I finish my wooferita, I may not even remember celebrating Cinco de Mayo this year. Good stuff, but enjoy in moderation!
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
I am joining the Tasty Tuesday blog hop sponsored by Kol’s Notes and Sugar the Golden Retriever. If you are looking for tasty ideas, take a look at what other dogs are baking and eating!
Oh these look yummy! Cat? What cat?
I think the cat was in my head! They are super easy and yummy, the wooferitas!
What a tasty drink perfect for today. Bert you are so funny
It is even a bit warm out, so more perfect!
I am dying laughing over here! Nope I do NOT see a kitty in a sombrero…..hehehe……this is just too precious and hilarious!!!
Oh and I LOVE those margarita glasses!!
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Who ever heard of a cat in a sombrero? The glasses are pretty. I think they were real expensive. Mom got them at the dollar store, not sure what they cost, LOL!
I don’t see a kitty in a sombrero – I don’t know what you’re talking about. I think it’s time to lay off the yummy wooferitas for a bit lol.
I guess I’m a bit of a lightweight!
Happy a info de a mayo. Great idea for Katie but mine needs some tequila!
Not sure how tequila and chicken would be, but go for it! It will be an original drink for sure!
¡Hola! Señor Frog! I love your celebration… it’s great to have Wooferitas till you see cats with sombreros… he wait.. I see the cat too… bet there is something in my water …Happy Cinco de Mayo!
I think that pesty cat of mine is playing games with our dog minds. He is nothing but trouble.
Cute! Dogs (and cats) enjoy Cinco de Mayo too!
Cat bro Bert thinks he is a dog. We all will enjoy the day together.
Oh, Señorita Emma, did you forget to mention the tequila you sneaked into the Wooferitas? Your expressions are a dead giveaway. Nope, I had the mom check and we did not see a cat in a sombrero. We were wondering why you did not celebrate with Bailie and Katie? Happy Cinco de Mayo! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
I like to change things up a bit. Katie isn’t much for Cinco de Mayo and Bailie was busy getting into more trouble, so I took on the holiday with my frog friend.
It all looks delicious Emma…and of course Bert would be barging in.
He noticed I was in the kitchen and they I couldn’t get rid of him.
OMD! That is just way to yummy for words!!!!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!

HILARIOUS! Kudos to you, Emma, for whipping up the perfect dog drink for Cinco de Mayo!!
You know I love to be in the kitchen!
All this needs is a Jones Steer Stick as a stir stick.
Imagine what we could create if we were neighbors!
That lip licking photo is perfect! You guys really know how to throw a party.
I’m kind of a Martha Stewart, Julia Childs combo as a dog.
You are the best cook ever Emma.

We want to see a cat wearing a sombrero! We’re going to have to make some of these immediately!

BUTT Where is that cat you claimed to have seen????
I think the wooferitas are messing with me! I can’t take much, a case of Bowser Beer and a wooferita and I’m plastered.
I think Mauja and Atka would like some of these to celebrate this evening!
Very tasty and they would go with most meals as well.
You have all the fun Emma I’m not allowed to play in the kitchen! Love Dolly
Play? I certainly never play in our kitchen. I work like a dog on my recipes 😉
BOL….We just love Senor Frog and Mama said something about a few lost memories when visiting him in Mexico!
This looks like a very good idea for our next party Emma, thanks for sharing your recipe!!

Tasty and refreshing.
You drank yours fast! I hope that you didn’t get brain freeze. I hear that hurts! BOL! Happy Cinco de Mayo!
Mom talks about brain freeze. I don’t think I ever had it happen to me.
SUPERB idea Emma!! We just LOVE Margaritas!! We do NOT like the brain freezes mentioned above!! Happy Cinco de Mayo!
No brain freezes here. I think it happens more to humans. My friend says he didn’t have one either.
Those look super yummy and it sure looks like you had a great party!
They are simple and tasty.
Looks as if your Wooferitas were a total success! Being a guest in your house sounds pretty pawsome 😉
Oh yes, my dog friends love coming to visit!
Wooferitas. I love it! Hope you didn’t drink too many Emma. 🙂
PS…maybe that’s why they say frog’s taste like chicken? 😉
I don’t eat frogs, so I don’t know about that. The wooferitas were tasty, though.
Oh Emma! Didn’t you get a brain freeze? My Mommie says I can not ever get a brain freeze, then she mumbles the reason why… I’m sure it’s because I’m so amazing!!!
No brain freeze, just a tasty drink.
So creative! Looks like a terrific recipe!
It is about as simple as it can get, and yummy too!
That frog sure looks like a well-satisfied customer! 😀
He enjoyed his drink.
Whoa Emma, those look like some tasty ‘ritas! Hope the Cinco celebration was fun!
They were super tasty! You should make some for yourself.
