You can successfully teach your dog math! Simply use tools and terms a pup can relate to! This is week 19 of the 52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge, and the word is “teach”.
Today, I’m joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Don’t forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
My friends at The Lazy Pitbull had the idea for the #PBSG and #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge. The linky for the current week will be posted on Friday mornings. Be sure to see what other blogs come up with for the word of the week!
OK, so I’m confident I could learn some math …but not so sure about my human assistant.
I know I could teach you math. I know how dogs learn best.
adds up to the perfect dinner we think 🙂
Exactly! You get the math.
Haha great lesson!
Thanks, it is the new math I think.
Next thing we’ll have to go to school.
We go to school for some stuff, but the basics are home schooled.
oh boy, that’s the math I love… even my momma understood it this time. The photo is an artpiece, I would frame it :o)
I know how to put math in simple, easy terms. Glad you like it.
We love your kind of math! BOL!
It’s the new dog math.
Teach and Tucker said that’s their kind of math!!
I knew the dogs would all get it!
Pawsitively brilliant math lesson! I would like the hare removed before dining – that is why I did not eat the squirrel I caught – hair is nasty! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
A good reason to eat the wabbit from Merrick. It is all ready to eat and not as much work!
So the old dog is teaching the new dog? Good one! Love Dolly
Um, old dog? Katie wasn’t in the photo 😉
Learning is so much easier when it’s fun isn’t it!
Gotta keep it fun and simple for the kids!
Haha! And now for the exam question…If a squirrel runs away from Emma at 10 mph and a rabbit traveling in the opposite direction passes Emma on the trail moving at 8 mph, which will Emma eat for dinner first?
Paws down, the wabbit! Wabbits are my priority, squirrels are number two.
hahahaha!!! Ohhhh, so that’s the trick huh? hehehe!
Happy WW!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Math is simple if you explain it correctly.
Do you teach Spanish too!
Don’t know much Spanish, but I can do fluent British and fluent German 😉
Bailie should get an A+!
She is working hard on her learning.
We’re signing up for your home-schooling. Getting into the car and driving to Minnesota!

I better get some more desks lined up!
“If you think dogs can’t count, try putting three dog biscuits in your pocket and then giving Fido only two of them.”
Very true!
Any room for Kilo? He could learn a thing or two…
I have to find some more desks, but he can start making the journey.
Haha! Love it!

EXCELLENT Math Lesson !!! That about SUMS it up.
Clear, clean, and simple.
Y’all are sure smart ones!
I need to teach the cats some math next.
I bet the pups are signing up to learn that equation!
Bailie got the math right away!
They do know how to count. Katie knows exactly how many treats she gets a day and she makes sure she gets everyone of one of them or she sits are the treat bowl and barks.
I bet she can tell time too. We know when it is time to walk, eat, sleep…pups are smart.
Oh Emma! Today my Mommy said that we would start my blog for sure! Then she said she would start my blog with a picture of me learning something and I was soooooo excited about that! She got out my best doggie treats and her camera and a tripod and a bunch of other junk that didn’t look like fun. She set up the tripod and put her camera on it then, while she was working on making the camera not fall off I ate up all the treats, which was something I learned to do while she wasn’t paying attention!!! When Mommy saw what I had learned to do she did not say, “you are the most amazingness puppy in the world!!” Instead she said a much shorter word, and she did not take a picture of me, even though I made my best pose about being a clever learning dog. Then she went away for a few minutes to give me time to learn to chew on the fancy camera strap while it was dangling down below the tripod. I hope it was working because I learned it soooooooo good!
I hope we can make a good blog!
Not all dogs are good models, it takes a lot of hard work.
I absolutely LOVE this! Thanks for a big smile today!
Thank you. I guess you are a fan of learning.
OMST!! and all this time I’ve just been using algebra!! Now I know why the Tzus aren’t learning. Thanks for the tips, we are definitely going to change our training math techniques.
You need to keep it simple and something they understand!
Oh boy. You know who will try teaching us
Lily & Edward
Love the photo! Love it! I’m pretty sure my dogs can count. At least they know how many treats I take out of the box and if there are any left, lol.
Can they add, though? That is the hard part 😉
Dat are my kinda math!
I prefer to teach dog friendly math.
So hysterically funny and clever. Your dogs are really good sports. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Bailie and I love to pose and model. Our sister Katie, not so much.
YEP! talented and patient mom. LOVE Joy’s blog
Thank you 🙂
I knew you would come up with something good for this one, Emma! I’m sure math is just one of the many things you have taught Bailie since she joined your family.
We are having fun with most of the words in the challenge.
Wow Emma…proof that anydog can learn anything with enough time a patience!!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
It is important to make learning fun and use tools which get your student’s attention.
Wow, that’s so cute! Anything that equals dinner is perfect for me. BOL My Mom always says “There are three kinds of people in the world…those who are good at math and those who aren’t.” BWAR HAR HAR Get it?!?
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Police Commish
You make a pawsome teacher Emma! I bet that Bailey won’t forget this lesson. I hope your dinner was yummy 🙂
Bailie will nail her next math test for sure!
LOL. Cute pic! Rita knows that equation too!
Every dog needs to know the important math!
If you think that dogs can’t count, put three treats in your pocket and give them just two … I love that quote.
True, but addition is a bit more tricky, especially for young dogs.
For a puppy butt you sure look like an engaged student Bailie. Emma, I bet you are a “highly effective” teacher!
Because my lesson was using things she is interested in, she was really paying good attention.
You have the best props! Adorable photo!
Thank you. We just love having fun.
LOVE IT!
Thank you.
School is in session! Great pic 🙂
It is, and we are working hard on the math stuff!
Great pic. No squirrels around here though, does that mean we’re going to miss half the dinner? 🙁
I think the only way Sam could learn math is if I kept repeating one treat, two treat…
You guys are the best looking students I’ve seen in fur-ever! 🙂
Bailie was really interested in math, so it was easy to teach her using things she loves to keep her attention.
Looks like an ace of a student!
That Bailie can really be smart when she decides to put her mind to it!
That desk is awesome! It’s just the right size for your cuter-than-ever pups. Nicely done!
Jean from Welcome to the Menagerie
Thanks, it was an accidental garage sale find last summer!
That is the perfect equation!
It’s the new dog math 😉
A+ all the way. Great photo and perfect for this week’s theme!
Thank you.
Pawsome pic! You really aced this theme and taught me something.
You just have to make math interesting and any pup can learn.
Omg this is like the most perfect photo ever! The props, the expression….how did you even get an old school desk like the ones you use in school houses? I am serious in love with this photo!
Thank you. We love to pose and do silly things. Mom always wanted an old school desk, and last summer on a walk with my sister, she saw this desk in the driveway at a garage sale. She told them to hold it, she walked home, got her money and car and want back and got it for $20. A wonderful find!
That photo is so cute 🙂
Thank you.
Haha this is fantastic!
Thanks!
Another great set up and photo, Joy! Loving the hat and subject matter you’re covering! Emma, you look very attentive. What have you learned? What’s two treats plus two treats? 🙂
Thank you, we always have fun thinking of fun ideas. I think the answer to your question would be dinner for two?
