One of the best things to happen to my blogging empire was to make little sis Bailie my official PR Dog! I’m quite a diva dog and also very reserved and proper. I wait for people to come to me, and I don’t have much use for dogs I don’t know coming into my space. Bailie on the other paw, armed with just her furry self and some business cards took BlogPaws attendees by storm! She most definitely brought awareness to My GBGV Life and won over many hearts of BlogPaws attendees!
Shy is not a word Bailie understands. Her first victim on the night we arrived in Nashville was Tom Collins one of the founders of BlogPaws. She was all over him last year, and remembered him this year. Bailie is not afraid of starting at the top!
Bailie didn’t waste time getting cozy with Caroline Golon, another BlogPaws founder. The next day, she even had Caroline brushing her fur! No shame with my PR Dog!
During the Friday morning keynote speech, Bailie got Carol Bryant to lie down on the floor with her. They were schmoozing up a storm. Carol is the Marketing and PR person for BlogPaws, so Bailie knows who to “woo”.
Even Dexter, star of Carol’s blog Fidose of Reality, didn’t mind posing with Bailie. My GBGV Life does not discriminate. We love everyone one regardless of fur, no fur, feline, canine, feathers, white, orange, pink…only reptiles are not allowed. Sorry about that, but Mom can’t deal with reptiles.
Bailie’s secret weapon would be her huggles. She loves huggles, combination hugs and snuggles. At BlogPaws 2014, she started giving out huggles. Melissa, from Barking from the Bayou got huggles last year and couldn’t wait to get more this year!
Mauja and Atka reminded Bailie of Katie. They attempted to “get the wild pants on” a few times in the lobby, but the pet parents said no to that. Their blog is, It’s Dog or Nothing.
Andrick is the video guy for PetSafe. He openly admits to being a dog lover and to loving hugs. Can you see where this is going? Yep, the two of them shared a real nice hug/huggle!
Bailie met Chilly, but she was pretty scared of a dog with colored fur. It took her until the last night of BlogPaws to get up the courage to sit somewhat near and take a photo. A good PR Dog can’t let a thing like colored fur stand in the way of brand promotion.
Vivian was wild about Bailie. They met the first time at Yappy Hour and had huggles and snuggles at least once a day after that!
Charlie and Harley are two handsome boys she hung out with a few times. They were all spiffed up for the red carpet ceremony.
The boys mom, Rachael, was not immune to huggles either. Bailie had no qualms getting right up into her face. They have a fun blog called My Dog Likes.
We have a Newfie in our nose work class who is kind of the class clown, so when Bailie saw Jen from My Brown Newfies, she just had to huggle her!
One of the other Multiple Pet Mania hosts is Jan from Wag’n’Woof Pets was also at BlogPaws. Bailie enjoyed meeting her and took several different opportunities to huggle and kiss her.
Mom met Jodi in DC two years ago, but she wasn’t in Vegas last year, so Bailie was finally able to show her some love this year in Nashville. Jodi sure loved it! She has a super funny blog, Heart Like a Dog.
Last but not least, the pigs. Mom didn’t let PR Dog Bailie get too close as she was starting to drool…probably was thinking bacon! Bailie was fascinated with these two, though.
There were many more huggles over the four days, but not all were captured on camera, and we had to limit the number of photos in this post at some point. I’m so thankful to have a PR Dog who doesn’t mind getting out there and schmoozing with anyone at any time. Bringing her along was a great investment as she was totally in her element!
I think Bailie was one of the most popular dogs at the conference. It seemed like everyone was seeking her out, trying to get some huggles! She does her PR job very well.
She was born for that job! She is a good toy tester too, but PR is her thing!
Thank you for this Thursday morning wake-up SMILE!!! Ohhh Bailie didn’t miss a soul at BlogPaws!!! I greatly loved each and every photo and how Bailie “worked” the crowd! The photo of Carol on the floor with Bailie is just adorable!!! Bailie is sooo full of joy (and HUGS and KISSES!!) What a fabulous woofie! These photos were some of the best ever! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you. She was so in her element with her huggles! Since you couldn’t make it, she says to send you a virtual huggle.
Bailie makes a great PR dog, I mean, who could resist those big brown eyes!
And the eye liner! No wonder she busted out of day care. She had work to do and didn’t want to be locked up.
OMD, Emma, you have the perfect PR dog in Bailie! How many huggles did she manage to give in Nashville? she certainly schmoozed with everyone. I give huggles and lots of kisses to the mom. I am not quite sure what I would do in that environment. Would I be reserved or outgoing? I will have to think about that. XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
We couldn’t keep count as she offered everyone she met huggles. She just loved being in all the hustle and bustle and searching for her next huggle victim!
Great post. See, little sisters are good for something.
This is true. She can be a real pain in my fur, but overall, I love her.
She’s just the best; and you know she just wanted to go out and mingle more which is why she was trying to get out of their doggie daycare π
This is what we figured. She hated to miss out on any of the action.
What a fab PR dog you are too Bailie!!! Wow! You definitely made your rounds!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
And these are only a few of the huggles she passed out. There were far too many to capture them all.
It was so amazing to meet you Bailie and thank you so much for the huggles! It made my day !
She loves to huggle and make people smile.
It looks like Bailie had a wonderful time! And made sure everyone else did!
She was the life of the party most of the time.
Oh it was great to wnder around with your PR Dog Bailie , Emma :o) I specially loved this two piggies… well… not to pieces or for ham&eggs, just because they are cute lol
Bailie was real interested and then bacon popped into her mind so Mom kept her a little bit away from them.
I love my huggles and kisses! Bailie is such a sweetieβ₯
She was very happy spreading love all over the conference.
The best advertising money can’t buy! That puppy energy is irresistible.
Bailie was all over it! I prefer to let the people come to me if they want to meet me. We are quite opposite, but it works well.
I remember Bailie being the friendly PR pooch last year. She really has it going, dosent she.
She just loves being the center of it all and getting all the loving!
The key to good management is the staff you have!! Looks like having Bailie as your PR pup was a wonderful decision, Emma!!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Exactly. She can work wonders with her personality!
That is some of the best happy hugging ever Bailie!
Believe me, she did huggles from morning til night!
Isn’t it great when your staff does their jobs well!? Bailie earned a good performance review, it sounds like! Your doodle friend Dash
Bailie rocks the PR Dog job and since she loves it so much, it isn’t even work for her.
Thanks for the shout out Emma, it was a pleasure meeting you and Bailie and nice to be able to put fur to the name. π
Bailie definitely was working the crowd. How did the pictures on the red carpet come out?
Thank you for the red carpet pics. Two were alright, one was really nice and I have it posted on my facebook page! Great to meet you and Mom loved seeing you again.
OMD OMD That was a FABULOUS time you did have…. we love seeing all the pictures so we can DREAM of what it was like… You surely did get PLENTY of attention and stuffs…. that must have been GRRRRRREAT… You were like a STAR.
Bailie was a real star…sort of one of those obnoxious in your face types, but everyone loved it. I will have photos of my more mellow experience on Monday.
It looks like Bailie had a great time.
Bailie may have experienced fun overload. She was so tired every night it was crazy, but she had a blast!
Fantastic photos! Looks like a great time! =D
Too bad you weren’t there π
Bailey you did an incredible job meeting and greeting everyone. Emma’s right PR work is PAWfect for you!
Bailie is a born PR Dog. It is in her genes!
Oh that piggy cracks us up
Lily & Edward
Live bacon on wheels! No wonder Bailie was drooling!
It looks like you two had a fantastic time at Blogpaws! We call hugs “huggles” too! π
Bailie had the best time of all. I don’t like so many dogs around pestering me, and Mom had a great time too.
That’s so awesome! Sorry Sinead the small Boston terrier was too terrified to pose with your PR dog. I love hugs, but I had to skip out on them because she was worried!
Jean from Welcome to the Menagerie
That’s okay. I didn’t pose with other dogs either. I prefer to hang out with the humans.
Bailie is quite the lover! We hope she got paid well for all that PR work she did at BlogPaws.
Geez, she got a free trip and gets to share the swag. I think that is good enough π
I don’t think we got a chance to meet, but I saw Bailey giving out huggles all over the hotel! And I got a pic of her snoozing during the keynote speech, hehe.
LOL! I think she did make quite the name for herself with her huggles! She was bored by the speeches and sessions. Even though she was snoozing, she perked right up if she heard someone approaching as she wanted to meet everyone! She had such a wonderful time!
Looks like she had a lotta fun!
Bailie had the time of her life and can’t wait for next year!
Wow Bailie! Great work and that is awesome you got to meet all those peeps. Sure does look like a fun time!
She was one busy girl, but she loved every minute of it!
Hi Yβall!
Oh Bailie, you are one lucky, lucky gal! I would so have loved to meet you and any human or pawed one of any size who wanted to give me attention!
As for Chilly, I’ve heard that poodles don’t smell like a real dog. My Human used to have a standard that was her first retriever to train…she said most dogs just ignored him and he them. Some were leery around him too. So maybe it wasn’t all the funny hairdo!
My Humans had planned to bring me this year, but it didn’t work out…maybe if BlogPaws returns to central or east Tennessee in the future…
So glad y’all found me in my new location at http://www.browndogcbr.net. There is a link on http://browndogcbr.blogspot.com .
Iβm still workinβ on it. You need to click the title to find a spot to comment.
Yβall hurry on by now!
Hawk aka BrownDog
It will all come together, but the process is a real pain in the furs!
Wow, a real PR dog! It’s great that you can share the workload in your team! π
Yes, I have an entire team behind me which is nice. Bailie is a perfect PR Dog. She drew tons of attention to herself, thus the blog. She also does all the toy testing which she enjoys as well.
that’s a whole lot of great hugging going on, good girl Bailie!
She is a serial hugger. She may need to attend huggers anonymous!
Seriouslies! Bailie, can we hire you as our PR rep too? Our mom was so excited to meet you & Emma!
She does like cats, I mean she hangs out with cat bro Bert a lot, so she might work for you.
What a social butterfly! Looks like fun!
She is a total social butterfly!
Bailie is absolutely adorable. I hope to meet him at BlogPaws one day.
She plans to be offering free unlimited huggles in Phoenix next year, so plan to get in line! Her huggles are quite popular.
What a great post!
Thank you!
Heather is our resident PR dog. She loves meeting new people and easily wins them over with her sweet charm! Mr. K is more like you and he was not a fan of all the C-A-T-S at the last conference we attended. So glad to see you got to mingle with so many blog friends! Much love, The Scottie Mom.
We don’t mind the cats at all, even the rats and ferrets didn’t phase us much.
