I took this selfie last weekend in Nashville at the Sheraton Music City. Other than getting all kinds of loving and snacks in the exhibit hall, my favorite part of the trip was going for walks around the hotel. I have to say, Nashville has a lot of squirrels! Those rotten, little tree rats were dark brown, not gray like the ones at home, but they were just as nasty and loved to tease us! I’m smiling because I’m on a little walk all alone with Mom, looking for squirrels.

Iβm joining the Sunday Selfies Blog Hop hosted by, kind of embarrassing, a big bunch of cats at The Cat On My Head. If you want to give a selfie a try, join in the hop, or see how good or bad other selfies are to help you get the guts to try it yourself! I sure hope some other dogs join me today or I will be alone with the felines!
What a great selfie. I can tell you had a great time in Nashville. Those squirrels seem to everywhere, don’t they?
There has been a huge tree rat explosion, I think.
that is one fine lookin’ country selfie!!
Thank you.
Great selfie, Emma! So glad you got to enjoy some walks with your Mom….the grounds there were pretty. We never saw any of those brown squirrels though. We couldn’t believe all the cardinals around, did you hear them all singing on your walks?
No, didn’t notice any birds, Mom was watching for squirrels as were we. She says she always wants to spot them first.
What a fun time we all had in Nashville! Sophie and the Mom had the best time. Can’t believe they missed you, Emma! Anyway, that’s a lovely selfie!! Have a great Easy Sunday!
It is hard to believe you don’t run into people, but there are so many people and so much going on. Maybe in Phoenix?
Our squirrels here in Florida are gray. So far I have only killed one. π The mom was telling me about the squirrels she saw in Nevada. They were desert squirrels and were very small. Yesterday I was on bird and squirrel watch while the mom was in the pool. XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
In Germany, squirrels were rare and more red colored. I guess they are different all over. I’ve seen lots of those gray ones when I have been in Florida. Some of them like to run over the pool cage and make us crazy.
Very pretty selfie, have a great Sunday.
Thank you.
We haven’t been to the conference since it was hosted in D.C. Mr. K made it especially difficult to focus as he was too preoccupied with the feline friends there! If we go again, I think I’ll have to take Heather and Mr. K with me in spirit. Hope you had a great time! Much love, The Scottie Mom.
Mom sometimes leaves us both in the room and goes out alone. We are distracting at times, but overall, she likes to have us along.
That sure is a super terrific selfie!
Thank you.
we have been surprised not to see many squirrels here – especially given all the trees. Mom says the most squirrel she has ever seen was when she lived in Woodbury …Minnesota – they were everywhere
We have way too many here in MN, that is for sure. We see a good number when we are in Florida and they like to run over the pool cage and tease us!
That is a nice selfie.
I have to admit its fun to scroll through all of the cat pictures and there’s Emma’s goofy smile. I’m going to have to do something about multipet week just haven’t gotten around to it! Love Dolly
I’m not afraid to mingle with another species π Hope you get a good post or two together. There has to be something fun to write about with the three of you.
Happy #sundayselfie
Annabelle,Boo,Ping and Mr Jinx
Thank you!
What a cute selfie. Mommy remembers seeing you in Nashville!
I bet I wasn’t as memorable as my wild PR Dog sister Bailie who was passing out the huggles!
You DO take SUPER SELFIES…, Emma.
It is important for a girl to look good, you know.
Emma, That’s a great selfie. Squirrels can be annoying….even to us cats!
My cat bro Bert enjoys watching them with me out the front window.
We are not fans of squirrels around here! Pierre has made it his life’s mission to rid our yard of them. He has done a pretty good job. They sit in the neighbors yard and trash talk to him! BOL!
Mom despises them as Bailie flies out of control. I’ve learned to mellow down about it a bit, but not Bailie.
Well, Allie wonders if Faraday *really* qualifies as a cat…so multiple pet, different species, according to her!
My cat siblings claim to be different cat species too. Something about you felines not liking each other all that much…hard for dogs to grasp.
Awe cute!!! I love your selfies, Emma! π
Thank you. I try to do a good job.
Gorgeous selfie!

Thank you!
Love those flowers in the background Emma! We don’t have any squirrels at my house… but lots of wabbits!
I prefer wabbits as they are easy to catch. I’ve caught so many I’ve lost track. Squirrels are mean and hard to get a hold of since they cheat and climb trees.
Love it! I remember those flowers <3 I can't believe BP is over! Beautiful photo.
It always comes and goes in a flash!
Great selfie! Be nice to the squirrels, Emma π
Some day I will get one, but it is a tough job!
Great selfie!
Dem skwerrils is nasty!
Squirrels are downright nasty!
Squirrel walks are the best. Mr. N saw one in our parking lot the other day and was so excited.
For me it is fun and Mom loves watching me, but with Bailie it is a nightmare as she is so loud and can’t settle down. I was the same way when I was her age. We still walk in wabbit and squirrel territory as Mom knows we love it, and she can keep working with Bailie.
What a great selfie, Emma. Those squirrels just taunt us. One day they will all pay.
Believe it or not, I’ve come within inches, on leash, of catching some. One day I will
It’s okay to join a bunch of kitties in the Sunday Selfie. Mom Paula enjoyed talking to your mom at BlogPaws at the PetSafe luncheon.
As long as your are a self confident dog, why not. I live with kitties, so I am used to being around felines.
That’s an adorable selfie, Emma. We have to move to an area where I can find out all about squirrels. They sound great… for hunting π Pawkisses for a great week ahead π <3
Squirrels are mean and they love to tease dogs. I need to sneak my cat bro Bert outside so he can climb the trees and get the squirrels down to the ground for me to chase!
That is a wonderful selfie!
Thank you!
Haha! Just loving the Nashville selfie!!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Thanks!
Looking good in Nashville! I had better check out this multipet thingy there!!!
Harvey
Please do! Most of the giveways or contests are dog and cat friendly.
You have a super pink tongue Emma. It’s cute as can be!
Thank you. I think it is a healthy sign.
We are getting more and more woofies every week, and you were in exceptionally good company this week with a couple of new entrants in the dog category. Your selfie is very nice with the colorful flowers in the background. The grounds around the hotel in Nashville were quite beautiful according to our mom. Thanks for joining this big bunch of cats for our blog hop. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Most of us dogs secretly like cats I think. Hopefully the canine component will continue to grow as we love this hop! I wish some more kitty families would join our Multiple Pet Mania Month as it is open to pets of all kinds and most giveaways and contests are cat friendly!
Great selfie Emma and we’re glad you getting to walk around and look for squirrels. They are probably being extra careful with so many dogs there in one place;)
Squirrels think they are so smart, I don’t think they cared one bit about all the dogs. They were as mean and teasing as always!
Nashville suites you, Emma and you are SO good at selfies!
I am getting better with practice!
