Katie here today with a little tale of tasty from Chewy.com and Rocco & Roxie! I’ve been feeling pretty perky lately, and Emma wanted a day off from her blog, so here I am to do a review for her!
This tale of tasty has three characters, myself, Katie, cat bro Bert, and a random turkey.
It all began one day when Emma received several packages from various delivery services. Bert was right on top of it, literally. The cat has a nose for edible items that is unbelievable! He has no fear of being caught either.
I’m a fine lady dog and would never rip open boxes like the cat would. I have even learned to sit nicely and pose with the package.
Once Mom gives me the signal, I will go in and check out what we received this month. Did you know Chewy.com has more than 300 brands to choose from and shipping is free on all orders of over $49? If you order products on a regular basis, you can also have your shipments scheduled and sent out automatically! If you have any questions about products or your order, their helpful customer service team is available 24/7 to listen and help you with your questions and concerns.
Being a senior gal, my tummy can be a bit sensitive, which means I need to read the ingredients to make sure products are healthy and good for me before I dig in. These Turkey Treats from Roxie & Rocco are wonderful! Let me tell you just a few things I love about the way they are made!
- 7-inch sticks in 16-oz bags, sticks can be broken into smaller pieces too
- Slow roasted & naturally smoked for 15 hours
- The first ingredient is always meat, only from the USA
- High in protein & low in calories
- Great for training & rewarding
- Leaves behind no sticky residue
- No corn, wheat, soy or gluten fillers
- Made in the USA
How do they taste? I love them. I wanted to eat the whole bag, but Mom made me stop at just one.
By accident the bag got left on the dog bed for a couple minutes which is when the opportunist in the family showed up. As you can see, these are dog treats, but if you have a crazy, off the wall cat like Bert, he will love them too!
Hope you enjoyed my tale of tasty today. Emma will be back tomorrow, all rested up I’m sure!

Oh now you know that they are really good… when even the feline part of your crew turns into a pickpocket :o) enjoy that tasty sticks with Bert and have a super tasty tuesday!
Cats are never to be trusted. Be happy you don’t share your crib with a feline!
Gobble gobble bert you kill me.
and my mom would like to kill him most of the time!
you did an excellent review Katie and we loved seeing more of you
I’m learning to not mind the camera so much. I used to really rebel against it, but it really isn’t so bad after all.
Katie looks great!
She has some days that are better than others, but for the most part she is doing fairly well and if it involves food, she is always in a good mood.
Katie, you are looking great. Thanks for the review. That Bert is a real food hound isn’t he!
The guy is out of his mind. Stealing from dogs is not something most cats would attempt.
Good work, Katie!! Those sure look like yummy treats!
These treats are amazing! Mom says she could almost try one as they look and smell so good.
Katie – that was an excellent review. You covered everything. Enjoy those treats – you deserve them.
She did a good job, and she does get plenty of treats and special attention these days. No worries.
Great blog, Katie! You are a very special girl, and it was sweet of Emma to share. Are you positive Bert is not a dog (or pig) in disguise? XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Bert is much more like a dog than a cat, but now that you mention it, a pig may be the truth as he will eat anything!
Treats for dogs? Why not cats too? Can’t leave out the cat brothers!
We try to leave him out or he would eat them all! I don’t think his “I’m full” sensor is in working order as he eats until he explodes.
Bert looks ready to pounce! Can cats be bribed for photos with catnip like pups can with treats? Otherwise I have no idea how you would ever get a good shot.
Cats are real tricky and they are all different. Bert will do anything for food, and he has no fear of anything, so he is pretty easy to get to pose, but these photos were just him being Bert, no staging or posing.
I’m happy to hear from you, Katie! That silly brother Bert is always into something adventurous. βΊ Tell Emma to enjoy her day off β₯
That Bert is just trouble. Would you boys like a cat brother? I could put him in a box and mail him to you???
We love getting a Chewy box
Lily & Edward
I have never gotten one I didn’t love immediately!
That looked like some real yum fun and it’s nice to see that Bert got into the act!
If it was up to him, he would take over all food and treat reviews!
Nice to see you feeling good and writing blog posts, Katie! That was an excellent review, and your opportunist sidekick there is pretty cute too. Hope Emma is enjoying her day off, knowing she left the blog in good hands…er, paws, rather!
I never imagined being good at photos and blogging, but with a few years of being a sidekick under my fur, I’m catching on and not minding the photos so much.
Great Review Katie- a tough job but some dog has to do it (Kilo loves doing treat reviews). Nala was a brazen opportunist like Bert. But Cookie and Kilo would also steal her food if left within reach.
We dogs don’t touch the cat food, but Bert is not afraid to steal our food.
LOL I had to look twice at the random turkey photo hahahaha!!!
These treats sound tasty, and so very nice to see you doing a review Katie!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
We tossed in the turkey since it is turkey jerky, and mighty tasty too!
Katie you have done a fine job on this review despite nearly being furbombed by the mischievous Bert! These turkey jerky treats look delish! Thanks for a great review, so nice of you to give Emma the day off!
Love & Biscuits,
Dogs Luv Us and We Luv Them
It may be Emma’s empire, but in the bowels of the empire it is truly a family operation so we need to spread duties around a bit.
Hi Katie, great review! You are very photogenic, the pictures are beautiful!
I’m learning to work with the camera. I used to despise it, but it really isn’t all that bad.
What a fun and informative review, Katie. We think you did a marvelous job with both informing us and putting up with Bert’s mischief! We are sure Emma appreciates your hard work!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Putting up with Bert is a daily struggle for all of us, but we get through it.
We love any kind of jerky and will ask mom to get us some of those.
Millie & Walter
We are going to use them for our tracking because they are not greasy and Mom can carry them around easily without a mess and best of all, we love the taste!
We got those too, they wuz yummy. And our cats would luv to steal dem, but dey hasn’t gotten da chance.
Keep the cats away, they are too good to let them get a hold of.
Thanks for your tale, Katie π I have never before heard of Roxie and Rocco, so we’ll have to check them out!
We had never heard of them either, but this jerky is amazing. It will now be on our list of high value rewards for nose sports.
They look YUMMY!!
They are super tasty!
Way to go, Bert!
(Hey, I root for kitties! I AM a kitty!)
Cat bro Bert has lots of his own fans. I totally understand.
Katie looks very happy to be in charge of the blog!
You need to keep an eye on Bert, he’s worse than my cats!
My mom has had many, many cats, but none as troublesome at cat bro Bert!
Those treats look like a giant hit!
Very good stuff. We are now using them for tracking rewards.
