I’ve decided to take my neighborhood watch program to the next level, which includes Officer Emma on the street! I took the solemn oath to “Protect and
Be Served Serve” with my local fellows in blue, they may not know I joined the police force, but they will one day see the value of Officer Emma!
This is a view of the interior of my squad car, where all the wild driving actually happens! They don’t know it yet, but I’m an Autobahn approved dog from my time in Germany and can’t wait for my first high speed chase! Of course, I will wear my seat belt!
One of my first self appointed assignments was guarding the squad car from riff raff while the officer chatted with some criminal types in my neighborhood. He didn’t know I had the situation under control, but I’m happy to secretly help out other officers when I see the need. My neighborhood watch has moved on to another level with Officer Emma on the streets, it’s not just in the front window anymore!
Today, Iβm joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Donβt forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
is that a REAL pawlice car and a REAL pawlice cap? … I’m swooning…that’s my greatest wish to ride in a pawlice car with howling sirens… :o) I’m glad your neighborhood is in the best paws now… and please make a video when you turn on the sirens and the flashing lights ok?
That is a real police car and my police hat. I can’t wait for high speed chase with the sirens and fancy lights!
You GO, girl! Pawlice Office Emma to protect and serve. I feel much more safe! XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
I will kick crime to the curb around here!
I would feel much safer if you were part of my neighborhood watch.
I think my howl will really send off alert signals to everyone. Nothing will slide by me unless I happen to fall asleep.
Wow Emma!! Since I am the King of 24 hr security, I need to visit my local police too so I can wear a hat like that! Either your Mom is dating a cop or he is one nice guy do do that, or…your Mom got a ticket and decided to turn it into a photo op BOL BOL BOL!!!!!
My Mom dated so many cops back in the day that it is pitiful……..she was practically their MASCOT! BOL BOL BOL BOL!!!
Barks and licks and love, Dakota
We have a good friend who is a former state trooper, but Mom could never date a police officer. She enjoys breaking rules a bit too much!
you are going to have the safest neighborhood for sure – did you get a donut for all your good work?
We don’t have a donut place around here. All the officers hang out at the Caribou Coffee up the street. We actually found a lost dog on a walk a while back and took him to Caribou and let the police handle it from there!
Many police departments could use some better community relations skills. You’d be just the dog to do that job, for sure.
I think first of all we need to pass laws forbidding squirrels to climb trees, and then I can work on other crimes.
I am sure everyone is your neighborhood feels much safer now! Love Dolly
They do! I know they have always appreciated my watch from my front window.
Hey Emma!
Wow, you did an amazing job! Love that cool cop car too…maybe I should order one like that for our Blogville P.D.. You could get a job on our force fur sure.
Grr and Woof,
Sarge, Police Commish
Thank you. I take my job patrolling crime pretty seriously.
You go Officer Emma!! Keep up the great work!
Thanks. I love my neighborhood watch duties.
I feel so much better knowing you’re on the job, Emma! And I love a girl in uniform π
I think I will have to pin my badge to my collar since I don’t want to wear that polyester outfit!
Haley will be sending her suggestions of new laws that should be enacted after you get the squirrel tree ban into the books. π
That squirrel deal is a top priority!
You could be the cutest police dog in town.
Looks can be deceiving. I may be cute, but I am tough!
I’m assuming Bailie was in cuffs in the back of the car during these photos?
She got out of the paw cuff with her slippery wire hairs! I know a girl like her will get caught again, most likely with Bert!
We bet the police will really appreciate a good police dog like you, Emma. Well, when they find out you are on the job, of course :-)!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
First I’m going to do a good job so they recognize what a great worker I am.
Good looking out Emma.
Thanks. I like to look my best when I work.
Wow! Can you fix my speeding tickets now? I really want to howl along with you. My mom is super jealous that you have a Caribou Coffee shop. βΊ
I think Caribou is headquartered in MN. Since Mom doesn’t drink coffee, we don’t need one, so I should close it down and send it to you guys! If you ride with me, we won’t need sirens if we just howl.
Wow, that is SO cool!! You got to be a real officer!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
I’m real good with security stuff. I can howl with the best of them.
Go Emma! That neighborhood will much safer in your capable paws!
I have been working at my neighborhood watch from my window for years, and I think now is the time to move it outdoors and leave one of my fur siblings in the window while I go out to patrol.
Emma, Emma! You look so professional! Go girl! π
It’s not just what you do, but how you look. Being from the UK, I do usually look good in a hat!
You would do wonderful at sniffing out crime!
So far, I have kept crime at bay around here.
Oh my goodness Emma! What will you think of next? You are the most adventurous dog we know!
I like to get out there and be involve in as much stuff as I can π
Emma, you are by far the cutest police officer we have ever seen. Good luck with your new endeavor. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth ad Calista Jo
I hope I don’t have to arrest my own family members as they can cause some trouble.
I bet your neighborhood has no idea what they’re in for now! They better all be on their best behavior!
I will keep things in check around here for sure!
mom does a similar job so we are always behaving
Lily & Edward
Yikes! My mom is the one who enjoys a bit of “law bending” such as jay walking, walking on closed trails, speeding…nothing too criminal so far π No wonder you two have to be so well behaved.
That’s awesome that you are so dedicated to community service! LOL
I like to keep everyone around me safe!
I feel safer already!
I know I will do a really fine job!
Oh Emma! That is so kewl!! I’m going to be a police dog, too. I already chased a giant lawnmower all the way across the dog park, so I won’t need a car. I’ve also been keeping a very good eye on some suspicious dudes in a van that says “Verizon” on it, but my Mommie says they’re thieves…
I have my built in siren, aka howl, that will help me out.
You would make a great police officer, Emma! Cuddle those bad guys into submission! It must have been fun to get to investigate that car. π
I sniffed it over good as it was covered in the smell of crime!
Cutest officer ever! Hope you are getting paid well (in treats of course) for all your hard work!
I figure I can trick the bad guys with my cute looks!
Ya make da cutest police officer!
Thank you. I think hats do it for me!
I wouldn’t mind being pulled over by such a cute officer. π
I love fast driving, so I probably would never have the heart to pull over a speeder, just thieves and criminals like that.
Neighborhoods would be much safer with you on the lookout!
My eyes and nose are pretty good at picking up on crime.
Wow that is an important job.
Some dog has to look out for the neighborhood. May as well be me!
You be careful out there Emma!! I bet the police will be so glad when they discover all your hidden talents.
Way to protect and serve (or be served). Well done, Emma! π
I really love to be served, but now and then it is good to serve.
Amen, Emma, amen!
π
I’m sure everyone will feel a lot safer with you in charge!
Emma the safety hound is on the job!
Emma, you’re my role model. Mommy only allows me to be watchdog at the window and door. I hope someday to be “official” like you with a real police hat. I think I would rock the fashion world in one of those.
Rock on Emma. Your admirer, Honey
Thank you! Being born in the UK, I think hats are a natural for me and I love them. I’m very happy to help sniff out crime on the streets, and I know the boys in blue will appreciate my help!
Your a beautiful police dog.
