Freeze dried treats are a real hit at our house which is why I chose them to review this month for Chewy.com. I decided on the Orijen Black Angus Beef Singles Freeze-Dried Dog Treats and couldn’t wait to give them a try! Unfortunately, I was at the spa for a much needed bath, pedicure, and fur tune up the day the package arrived. The family troublemakers, Bailie and Bert, took it upon themselves to open my delivery and taste the treats.
There was some trouble right from the get go as Chewy.com sent along a bag of freeze dried treats, Orijen Ranch Raised Lamb to be exact, for Bert! Bailie insisted the contents were all for her, but Bert wanted his bag of treats.
Bert is not afraid of us girls in the least. He had no problem getting deeper under Bailie’s fur by really claiming the box as his own, and stealing the spotlight in front of the camera. I would never let Bert get away with that, but…I was at the spa.
The freeze dried treats made it out of the box, but Bert insisted on keeping the box for himself. Bailie was starting to really get fed up with the whole deal.
Bailie is a good model understudy and knows how to do a photo shoot but the last straw was when Bert continued to irritate her by trying to break into his treat bag early. Bailie couldn’t let him eat while she just sat there.
Worried about being left out, Bailie gave in and they both decided to help themselves to their own freeze dried treats! It was becoming a free for all. It is not good when I am not involved to keep those troublemakers in check!
The photographer was able to reclaim some order and Bailie tested her Orijen Black Angus Beef Singles Freeze-Dried Dog Treats like a lady. Look at that smile! Bailie’s face much says it all! To tell you a bit about these delightful noms:
- Single-source treats
- Made from 100% meat and nothing else!
- Freeze-dried to lock in flavor and nutrition
- Guaranteed analysis to mirror Mother Nature
- Low calorie and carbohydrate free
Bert was up next. Check out his focus on the Orijen Ranch Raised Lamb treats! He has a completely one track mind! Why are these freeze dried treats so good for kitties?
- Single-source treats

Overall, Bailie and Bert give these Orijen freeze dried treats from Chewy.com eight paws up and two tongues out!
What about me? No problem! Now that those troublemakers are in bed, I’m placing my own order for some tasty items online at Chewy.com! Did you know Chewy.com has more than 300 brands to choose from and shipping is free on all orders of over $49? If you order products on a regular basis, you can also have your shipments scheduled and sent out automatically! If you have any questions about products or your order, their helpful customer service team is available 24/7 to listen and help you with your questions and concerns.
Stop by tomorrow to see what food I’m featuring and possibly giving away on day three of Emma’s Food Fair Days!

seems that are treats for guys like me hehehehe… and I’m sure they are great! look what a long paw Bert got to grab one of that treats …and 8 pawsAND two tongues that’s like getting the Nobel prize :o)
We are talking about some seriously tasty treats here. It’s amazing how one can stretch for yums!
Those look so yummy! I would like to try Bert’s treats, but I bet he keeps them hidden from us canines! Hope you had a good day at the spa while Bert and Baiie test tasted the treats, XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
Bert wanted to eat the entire bag at once! Since Sophie doesn’t eat them at all, Mom did give us dogs some of Bert’s treats for training rewards and they are good. He steals our food and stuff all the time, so it is fair we get some of his.
Bert has one very scary look – wouldn’t want to mess with him! My two love the Orijen treats as well.
He does beat up on bailie and I sometimes, and he plays in Katie’s tail a lot. Overall he is pretty sweet, but he steals food all the time, even big bones from us dogs. We use the Orijen freeze dried treats for nose work a lot π
Oh, Emma. You should never leave home when you know a delivery is coming. Bert and Bailey need you to keep order! We love those Orijen treats and Chewy, too!
I didn’t know the shipment would arrive that day, and I had already scheduled my spa appointment. In the end, the two crazies in the family did do alright and no one was hurt in the battles.
Emma, next time you should schedule the groomer to come to your house. Things just get crazy without you there to manage them.
And where was Katie? Shouldn’t she have been helping to keep order?
I like to go to the spa to get away from my crazy siblings! Katie was probably sleeping. Her hearing is pretty bad so she sleeps through a lot these days, and she is scared of Bert, so she wouldn’t be much help.
We think it may have been a stroke of luck that you were having a relaxing spa day while this review was underway…..Looks like your photographer had her hands full!!
Smileys!

You are right. Working with Bert is always tough as he is so food crazed. It was better to let the two peas in a pod battle it all out on their own.
Mine would like these! Ethel is more of a troublemaker though…
The younger siblings always seem to have more of a nose for trouble!
I’m so glad to see that Bert got a package of kitty treats all his own!
Believe me, the guy doesn’t suffer! He steals our dog food and dog treats all the time. He always thinks Chewy.com deliveries are for him anyway, so he may as well actually get something for him for a change.
Those treats look yummy!
They are very tasty…even the cat ones…I’ve sampled them too π
Freeze dried treats are our favorite
Snorts,
Lily & Edward
They are a top favorite at our house too and for our high value sniffing rewards.
These treats look yummy! I might have told you but I’ve been spoiling Callie the Cat lately to get her to like me more and I think she would love to try these! π Have a fantastic Tuesday! π
Our sister Sophie doesn’t like treats much, not even these, but Bert sure loves them! Sophie doesn’t even like catnip. She is a strange cat!
You’ve got a warming pattern going this week – Frozen, Freeze Dried..next up must be dry and then moist treats π
LOL! Tomorrow is dehydrated! Never noticed the pattern, very observant especially thinking you are in the middle of moving!
Bert doesn’t look like one to mess with! Yikes!!! π
He is a cat who knows what he wants (always he food) and he is never to shy to get out there and get it!
That Bert is such a troublemaker…at least some order was eventually restored.
Food and patience don’t go together in his mind, but he sure enjoyed the treats!
OMD! That is gratitude for you! You do all of the work and they open your packages while you are having a well-deserved spa day! I hope that you ordered something fabulous to make up for the shenanigans!
Believe me, I pamper myself at the spa and on the palate. I ordered some great stuff and I might just keep it all for myself too!
Bert, dood. Way ta man – err CAT – up and take CONTROL!
I figured he would have a cat fan club behind him. Such a pesty guy he is! Always in our dog stuff!
Oh I bet my huskies are drooling right about now!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Most likely as these freeze dried treats are to drool for!
Well, it looks like we have some more Orijen treats we’ll need to try, and Sam will be able to get in on the action too!
Once the photographer got them under control, they did a good job without you, Emma, but you probably shouldn’t leave them alone too often!
No, those two are double trouble for sure. At least they got the review done so I didn’t have to work when I got home.
Freeze dried treats are big in our house too! I’m not sure if we’ve tried this brand or not.
We get the wild boar a lot for nose work training. Yum!
That was such a fun review and we enjoyed seeing Bert purrticipate too!
I’ve let Bert get a bit more involved lately mainly for my kitty friends. He is a fun guy, but a pest too.
We can’t believe those two broke into the box when you were at the spa. They sure seemed to enjoy both treats. We hope they left some for you.
Millie & Walter
Those two can’t be trusted! I did get to try some myself, but it was nice they had the review all done so I could just relax when I got home.
Looks like Bert took the chance to be boss when you were away. Funny thing about cats and boxes, lol.
Bert is bossy anytime, not just with boxes. He has beat me up when I’ve tried to get into my bed because he felt like lying in it. Cats!
My cats are always tryin to steal my treats – talk bout troublemakers!!
Bert even tries to steal our food out of the bowl while we are eating it! He has no shame!
Bailie and Bert seem to be in a real hurry to taste their new treats. We know Bailie would have waited as she was suppose to if Bert would have waited his turn. Then Angus beef treat looked really delicious:)
Bert has no patience when it comes to food. He steals and cheats like crazy!
Brown dawgs like those treats too, but no way would kitty even try. She is picky.
Our kitty sis Sophie won’t touch them, but Bert, loves them!
Hi Y’all!
Bet your order will more than get even with Bert and Bailie.
Y’all come on back,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Oh yes, I won’t forget anything I have on my list!
Mmh, Missy & Buzz have a thing for freeze-dried treats…I’m certain they would give those Black Angus Beef treats 2 tongue outs as well π
Once a pup discovers that taste, there is no going back! We use them a lot for nose work rewards.
oh my gosh, this was great, Bert your my favorite!
He is simply a bad cat through and through!
