It’s time for week 34 of the 52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge and the word is “school”. I think I’m ready for the new school year. What does this have to do with Emma’s Food Fair Days?
Well, today I only have a couple small food tips. The apple is important. Always bring an apple for your teacher to stay on her good side! If you teacher doesn’t like apples, we dogs love them, just don’t eat the seeds and core.
If you have trouble concentrating on your lessons after chasing squirrels and wabbits on your way to school in the morning, never fear! I highly recommend Merrick Power Bites! These healthy little treats will get your mind back on track in a jiffy! We use these all the time for small rewards when doing “school” like tasks.
Now for some informational stuff:
Did you know I got the keys to a 2015 Toyota Camry yesterday? My new friend DJ from The Drive Shop brought it to me right at my house! I get to drive it for an entire week! If you want to stay on top of my car adventures follow me on social media. I will be posting my photos along the way with the hashtag #EmmasToyotaAdventures You can find me at:Β Instagram, Twitter, Facebook. NOTE, I don’t always post the same photos on all my social media channels and the blog.
Have you been checking in every day this week to see what tasty food items I’ve been featuring during Emma’s Food Fair Week?
Make sure you have entered to win Dogsters Ice cream from day 1!
How about the day 3 Raw Paws Pet Food buffalo ears? Make sure and sign up to win those too!
Stay tuned tomorrow for day 5 and the final day of Emma’s Food Fair Days! I have another fun giveaway planned for you all!
My friends at The Lazy Pitbull had the idea for the #PBSG and #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge. The linky for the current week will be posted on Friday mornings. Be sure to see what other blogs come up with for the word of the week!
I’d be in your class any day, Emma!
Oh we could have a lot of fun, but maybe get into some trouble too.
I’m not really an apple guy (we use windows lol) but I will try the Merrick Power bites , that sounds like the perfect school-treat :o) I like the color of this car and it looks like something made for wild girls… but my momma noticed that it is not easy to enter a common lower car after driving an suv or a minivan the whole time. And she also noticed that the sight is completely different. Not only dogs are creatures of habit right?
It takes some adjustment switching from our SUV to a sedan, but it is possible and Mom really wants a sedan again one day, so it is a good test. We kind of like being in the backseat because it is closer to Mom too.
Love the school photo!!! I’m a Honda girl all the way, have fun!!
DakotasDen
We are VW folks, but we loved the Mitsubishi we had last winter and now we will give the Toyota a try. It is always good to test other brands as they may surprise you. If nothing else, we will have some fun adventures.
I am so glad that you have your license. I would ride with you anywhere.
It was a good move learning to drive. We are going to have some fun!
Glad you’re remembering to include snacks in your school day. Would hate to see you feeling peckish.
I have to keep up that GBGV energy level, and after walking to school a girl gets hungry!
Oh, Emma, did you have a crash in your VW? Cars are cool, but they do take bending and twisting to get into them for our humans. The mom now has an SUV which takes a leap of faith for me to get into the vehicle, BUT I can look down on all the cars! I do like red cars. XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
No, I’m just doing a car review for a week and we wanted to try out something different. Red is my color, so I’m loving it. We love our SUV, but it is fun to be in the car closer to Mom too. Stay tuned to see how we like it and what adventures we have.
What a feast you and your sisters are having Emma…if the weather wasn’t so cold, I’d come live at your house.
If you keep moving around all the time walking and running, it doesn’t seem so cold! Snow is a good workout too π
We love apples! Have fun with your Toyota Adventure!
I’m not a huge apple fan, but Katie loves them and Bailie eats them too. I’m hoping the teacher takes mine for me! Stay tuned for some upcoming adventure posts from our Toyota fun!
Looks like some delicious and fun school days ahead!!

A girl has to bring food or school would be real long and boring.
Starting school with yummy treats and a new car to try out? You’re going to be the coolest kid in class! π
I love to draw attention to myself π The car is only for a week, though, and then it turns into a pumpkin!
You always make us laugh cause you look like a person
Lily & Edward
I think that person needs to shave some facial hair, LOL!
Emma looks like the “bad boy’ in class! Could give Bailie a run for her money.
I was having a young naughty puppy moment. Most of the time I’m the more refined dog of us two!
Whoo – you lucky dog getting to try out that Toyota! Luke wants to know if he can hitch a ride to school, and then sit at the desk next to yours. π
I think Luke wants my snacks! I’m hoping to have some fun Toyota adventures.
I bet Delilah would get detention. LOL I’m glad she’s not going to school, I can’t imagine how many times a day I’d get a call from the teacher!
That would be Bailie. Heck, Mom even gets calls from daycare at BlogPaws to come get her since she is escaping and causing trouble!
I hope that we have a class together! BOL!
Oh yeah! That would be so fun. We could share treats and pass scented articles back and forth!
Emma – I just love your school photo!!! We are going “back to school” tonight. It’s Meet the Teacher night and we will have a 5th grader on our hands starting next week. Yikes! Going to check out the Raw Paws giveaway. Those look like something Shiner would like to munch on!
Shiner would love them, and they are great for seniors too! Good luck!
You are a very classy teacher!
I always try my best to look good you know!
Love the photo of you starting school! I bet you’re a good student!
I’m real good in school as I take my time and really focus well.
You should drive by my house, Emma! I’ll run so fast along the fence that you’ll be so amazed at how fast I am. I’ll bark and howl, too, because I’m a GBGV who loves to bark and howl. I think I heard Mommie telling somebody that I do too much barking and howling, especially when we’re riding in the car, but I know she secretly loves all that beautiful noise!!! The best thing is that my friend Becky is always out waiting for us when we go to visit because she can hear me from so far away!!!!
Yay for Bruin!
We don’t bark and howl in the car, but we do in the yard.
My Mommie is pretending she wants to know how in the world your Mommie stopped you from barking, because she’s pretending it drives her so crazy that she might drive into a tree… Isn’t she funny??
Now she has that look on her face that I think means she loves my barking so much that she just can’t stand it…
Just wasn’t allowed ever. Was told no, light break tap if I didn’t listen, and it worked. We don’t stand or move about in the car either.
My Mommie thinks you guys are a lot more cooperative than me. I don’t care much what Mommie thinks and I’m so smart I learned how to unbuckle my seatbelt. Now my tether is attached to the headrests, which is all right with me because I can still bark and howl really loudly. Somebody said I need a bark collar, and Mommie is thinking about it, but she’s not sure that spraying more water on my beard is going to be much help… Ha ha! I win!!
Lookin dat cute, you’d be da teacher’s pet for sure.
I would prefer if the teacher would simply pet me π
I love your class photo, Emma! π
Thank you. I was all spiffed up for the first day of school.
Wow, it’s a big blog and hard to figure out which one to comment on. Of course as always you look like the perfect student ready to start the day. I obviously missed something since we have had a rough month, but you (Mom) got the keys to a 2015 Toyota to drive for a week?? We would never be able to fit in a sedan so enjoy your test drive week:)
This week is a bit wild and crazy, but fun too! Yes, I do get cars to review on occasion. With Katie Mom would never want a sedan, but for Bailie and I we think it would work well. This is a good test to see if we like it or if we prefer the SUV. 2 Newfs would fit in the sedan, but it sure would be cozy!
what a great school picture for the challenge. Congrats on getting to ride in a new car, whoo hoo
Thank you. I am enjoying my car as well. Tomorrow I think I will take a road trip.
I agree, apples are super important!!!
Back to school starts a little later here in Canada than it does in the states. We have a couple weeks yet.
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
It is weird here, some kids are already in school, some don’t start until Sept. 8. Wish it was all at the same time as no one can remember the way it is now.
Whoa! Cool ride! Can I borrow it after youβre through with it! I passed Driversβ Ed in school
I have to give it back to the folks that gave it to me after a week or I will turn into a pumpkin π
Looks like you are all ready for school.
I’m about as ready as a girl can get!
You are one busy pup, Emma! Love the Food Fair Days idea and how lucky to be driving a new car around to test! You’re amazing, Ms. Emma!
I do sleep pretty soundly when I have the chance. I think it is because I have so much going on.
I love the old school desk! Or is it the old-school desk?! Either way works!
Mom always wanted one of those desks, and she found one last summer sitting out in the driveway at a garage sale while she was walking Katie. It was real cheap, so she told the lady to hold it, and if anyone wanted it to please call her on her cell. She had to walk Katie home to get the car and money. Luckily it was pretty early in the morning, so no one else came by and we got the desk. We thought of refinishing it, but the used look adds to its personality we think. The bonus is, it is just my size!
