Labor is the word this week for the 52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge. Can you believe it is week 37 already? Wow! Mom has been complaining about the bushes along our walkway saying they are taking over the house, so I did what any good dog would do, I trimmed them up. I don’t do fancy shapes, just straight lines but they look better than before. Always remember to wear your safety attire when you perform such labor!
Today, Iβm joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Donβt forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
My friends at The Lazy Pitbull had the idea for theΒ #PBSG and #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge. The linky for the current week will be posted on Friday mornings. Be sure to see what other blogs come up with for the word of the week!
Doesn’t Mom know that Labor day is not for working harder! Geesh! These parents!
I know. I’m always working like a dog around here.
Paw-some photo Emma!!! Mom says she would hire you to help with some trimming around our house! Have a great Wednesday! π
Thanks! I’m pretty woofed after tidying up around here.
Love this, you are too clever! A dogs day of work is never done.
I don’t know about clever, but hard working, yes.
Ummmm! We think your humans have a screw loose! Labor day is for resting not doing labor! BOL!!!! Well, we hope you got a lunch break at least! π
I always have plenty of snacks on paw to keep up my energy!
You are the helpful dog ever. You get a gold star.
I’m such a mom’s girl. I love to help out any time I can.
Looks like you had an active Labor Day! Way to go, we did, too π
We got lots of rest, but lots of labor too!
Look at you go!
I’m one hard working dog!
You are indeed!
I try my best to help Mom out with things around the house.
You are worked big way to hard, BOL
Lily & Edward
Always working like a dog around here but I don’t mind.
that’s girl power! can you come to help me with my hedge after you finished yours?…there are berds inside… a good snack for hard working dogs :o)
I’ll do almost anything for good snacks. You can have the birds, I’m more interested in furry critters.
Awesome photo Emma! I would like to know how did your mom manage to convince you to pose for this photo. You must teach Mister Cat some posing skills π
Only those who have seen me pose know how much I love to do it. People are always amazed at what I do, often without being asked. My photographer asks and I deliver. I love modeling for the camera.
Well i’m certainly glad you are wearing your safety gear!
Wanna come trim my hedges??
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
A dog has to take care of herself. I don’t want to get hurt.
“You don’t need hands to be handy” would be a good slogan for your business.
Good point. These trimmers work real well with paws too.
Look at you! I bet your mum is proud of your handiness!
She loves that I’m always helping her out with chores.
Hey Emma,
Look at you go girl. Power tools ARG! ARG! ARG! π
They are not just for boys anymore!
“Handy Dog, Inc.”? – your mom has the best props! And you do an amazing job posing for the camera, Emma!
Thank you. My photographer and I have a lot of fun.
I am not sure that I can express how much I LOVE this picture. It cracks me up. β₯
I guess you are shocked at seeing a girl doing such a manly job? I just like to be helpful!
I’m glad to see you were wearing safety gear.
One has to always be safe no matter what she is doing.
You have sure earned some extra yums after all that hard work!
I’m hoping for access to the treat drawer in the kitchen.
I hope you received overtime and treats for all that work!
WOOF!
Lots of good tasty treats. It makes the work go by fast thinking about my feast when I am done.
Emma, you are one multi-talented dog. We think you deserve a raise!
Thanks. I get treated pretty well, so I can’t complain and it is good to help out around the house.
Do you hire out, Emma? Mommy has a very long list and she promises to pay handsomely in yummy treats!
I have so much to do around my own house, I don’t have time to work for others.
Man Emma, your mom makes you work hard! But I guess a tired dog is a good dog. π
I sure do sleep well at night.
Emma you’re so cute and helpful! You should give lessons!
I’ve been trying to instill some work ethic in Bailie, but she just isn’t interested. Maybe she will be one day.
What a good dog you are, helping your Mama out!! We are glad to see you followed all safety protocol too!
Smileys!

Safety is always number one!
Boy is Honey going to be mad at you. If you’re trimming bushes, I’ll start expecting her to trim the sails.
No more napping for my fuzzy girl. π
Wow! I wouldn’t know how to trim sails. Would my hedge trimmer work for that?
You’re a dog of many skills, Emma!
I’ve got my paws in all sorts of things!
Glad to see you are wearing safety glasses! those bushes can really get in the eyes and the kickback from saws can be stinging to jaw shattering!!! your friend, Chablis
I have it pretty well under control, but safety is always first!
Wow excellent job Emma. We could use your expertise here. π
Someone has to keep our yard area looking nice.
Working like a dog, eh…Emma? Well done!
I do work like a dog. Mom says I play and work hard, but I sleep hard too!
Emma, not sure how the heck you do some of the things you do, but you’re a genius dog and your mom is a genius photographer! Great, fun photo. You are certainly a most multi-faceted GBGV!
I dabble my paws in lots of things I guess. Mom isn’t the best photographer, but I am a patient model and have learned to work with her. We both enjoy photo shoots.
Emma, you are a handy girl to have around!
I love to help out my mom around the house. She really appreciates it.
Be careful Amma. Those things are dangerous. I hope you charged her for the labor.
Safety first, so I have all my gear on for that. I get plenty of treats for all my efforts.
OMG – too cute for words!
Thank you. I enjoy helping out around the house.
Oh Emma you are the cutest landscaper! Thanks for wearing your safety gear π
It’s always safety first for me.
