It’s week 39 of the 52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge and the word this week is “shadow”. This time of year, shadows are abundant, so I snapped a couple of myself. I think my head looks silly in this shadow, don’t you?
Here is one of my shadow and I sitting down resting.
Today, I’m joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Don’t forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
My friends at The Lazy Pitbull had the idea for the #PBSG and #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge. The linky for the current week will be posted on Friday mornings. Be sure to see what other blogs come up with for the word of the week!
You almost look like you have wabbit ears in your shadow, Emma.
Yikes! That is not a good thing…or maybe it will help me sneak up on wabbits.
Fantastic shadow pics
Thank you.
Those are wonderful shadow pictures.
The hard part was to get my shadow and not Mom’s in the photo.
I bet your shadow gets tired. It’s a lot of work to keep up with you.
BTW, I spotted a pair of GBGVs walking through the marina yesterday. I hope they come back so I can meet them in person.
I know there are some on the East Coast, so that could be. Are you sure they were not PBGV’s. Love to hear about it if you do meet them.
Were you ever afraid of your shadow when you were a puppy Emma? Jax had that experience – hilarious.
Silly boy! No, none of us have ever been afraid of our shadow.
It’s always nice to have a shadow friend with you on your walk. Love Dolly
It’s kind of like a silent body guard.
you have a well trained shadow… imagine it would stay while you sit… oh wait that would be a cool howl-o-ween photo :o)
My shadow seems to imitate everything I do!
….that’s interesting… the shadow of a dog is a copyCAT :o)
Meeeooowwww…purrrrr…
Oh dear, Emma….watch where you sit or you will smush your shadow! BOL
Oz
LOL! A smushed shadow! I better be more careful!
I would like you to be my shadow.
I am sometimes my mom’s shadow.
Reminds me of when my youngest daughter was about 3 years old and she was always wondering why her shadow followed her around. BOL!
ღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
How cute! I’m not scared of it, but I know some dogs are.
Shadow images are really cool! Why have I never done this with Haley? I gotta add that to my todo list, lol!
These are real basic, but there are some real fun ones to be taken.
Shadow photos are FUN!
DakotasDen
Shadows are fun and fall!
Your shadow chases you everywhere, doesn’t it?
I just can’t shake the shadow.
Good thing you aren’t afraid of your shadow bol!
No, I’m not afraid of my shadow.
A big bad shadow

Good dog, bad shadow!
Without a shadow of a doubt, the cutest shadow of the day! ♥
Thank you. Shadows are kind of weird, but I think I have a good one.
Hi Emma, Shadows sometime look a little funny. I looked at mine one time and it was ten feet tall, crazy huh.

Sometimes I get that kind of shadow too, but I liked my profile shadow better.
Your head does look pretty funny in that photo! Our sun has barely been out the last three days, so we haven’t gotten to work on our shadow photo yet (it’s finally out today thank goodness)!
I think I mistakenly sent our sunshine to you all. We have rotten rain again here.
Hey, you both look very cute!
I guess if I’m cute and my shadow looks like me, it would be cute too.
I like shadows! Mom said I am getting a little brother who is going to be my shadow in about a month. Will we have have to share our shadow? I hope not.
Your friend, Chablis
Oh boy. Good luck to you. I’m sure it will be fine and you will have a lot of fun, but younger siblings are a lot of work.
We think you and your shadow look pretty cute today, Emma!!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Thank you. It isn’t a bad looking shadow.
I love your shadow pics! They are neat!
Thank you. They aren’t real lovely, but they are me and my shadow.
Your shadow are cute, but you’re even cuter!
Shadows can be funny looking as they don’t have much detail!
Your shadow of your head in the first pic almost looks like Homer Simpson. But that could just be me! 🙂 You are definitely cuter than your shadow, Emma! We like to look at Rita’s shadow when we are out walking because she can look very wolf-like!
I should have one of Bailie as her head hair is always standing on end and looks funny!
Great shadow casting, Emma!
Thank you.
I love seeing your take on the challenges Emma. Good job!
Thank you. Sometimes I do have a different perspective than most, but maybe it is because I am long and short?
Nice shadow shots, Emma! You’re getting better and better at the camera every day, especially your talent for both taking and posing for your pictures. That’s a neat trick. Sophie says she’d like you to teach her that one. This way, if she’s doing both, she can get the picture taking over with faster. Sophie’s not a big fan of getting her picture taken. 🙁
Tripod and timer function. It is not easy, but it works 😉 I usually just bring along my photographer, though. That works out the best.
Shadows do that sometimes! Nice photos!
