Animal is the word for week 41 of the 52 Snapshots of Life Photo Challenge. This word was tough. I had no clue where to find an animal since dogs aren’t allowed into the zoo around here. Finally, it hit me! I live with an animal, so I got to work and came up with this dog tourist at the zoo shot.
I took a good look at the animal sizing him up in my mind. He appeared tame, but I know better!
Just another shot of me and the animal. I debated about using this as the main photo, but then decided both of us looking at the camera might be better.
Today, Iβm joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop sponsored by BlogPaws! Donβt forget to stop by and visit some new blogs for fun!
My friends at The Lazy Pitbull had the idea for theΒ #PBSG and #52Snapshots of Life photo challenge. The linky for the current week will be posted on Friday mornings. Be sure to see what other blogs come up with for the word of the week!
you gotta watch those miniature lions π
This cat is relentless, nothing but trouble.
What a good sport Bert was! If I tried to get Callie in a cage like that, I would come out the loser!
Bert is much more dog than cat. A weird breed of animal.
I just can’t see Bert ever forgiving you for this Emma but nice try! Love Doll
He steals my bed and tries to steal my food, he deserves it!
Oh Bert, you are way too calm in that crate! Our kitty would be howling!! BOL!
He knows he belongs in jail!
There will be heck to pay for caging “wild animal” Bert! Love the ‘safari’ hat and the camera. XOXO Sparkle the PBGV
He terrorizes us daily anyway, so it won’t be anything new.
I love your creative interpretations of the picture prompts. Clever. π
Thank you. I try to think outside the kennel for the words and sometimes it works better than others.
Very cute and creative. Thinking outside the box, or cage.
Thanks. I try to figure out something not too mainstream.
it’s one of that bonsai-tigers, right? you should sell tickets to the visitors… that’s agood chance to get a lot of bones :lo)
Good idea. I can put him in the front yard and charge admission to all passing dogs.
Haha! A WILD animal indeed! Love that Bert!
He is a wild animal, most likely the wildest one at our house! Then he has the nerve to pose nicely like a well behaved animal for photos!
Poor Bert π He’s not a wild animal MOL!!!
Obviously, you don’t live with him. Any cat that steals my bed, takes food out of my bowl while I’m eating and steals a 1 lb hot roast out of the pan is an animal!
OMD! How adorable is that!! You guys crack me up!
α¦ husky hugz α¦ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
I had to find an animal somewhere and being wild, Bert popped right into my mind.
Well done.
Thanks.
Gotta watch out for those wild animals, Emma! He might stick his leg out and swat at you as you walk by. π
Believe me, I know. He has beaten me up stealing my dog bed before.
If you can’t go to the zoo, bring the zoo to you!
That was my idea π
You caught the wild animal
Lily & Edward
Trapped him good, but we had to let him go back in the house.
That is just awesome, and so creative! We love it! Is Bert mad at your Mom again now though? π
No, he was happy as a clam to just be outside since he is an indoor cat who is always trying to get out.
Between the bath and being caged, you had better sleep with one eye open! This is one of my favorites, we still have to think of something for “animal.”
This one was a tough one, but thankfully I got an idea. Finding an animal is not an easy task.
BOL! How creative! We love it! π
Thank you. Wild animal fits that cat to a tee!
Emma, so glad you know how to think outside of the crate! This is phenomena,l and Bert deserves the wild animal category. I don’t know many cats, personally who do not fit this CAT-a -gory. Your friend, Chablis.
p.s. my mom is setting up a smaller crate, getting a Sherpa bag, an x-pen, and getting little packages in the mail , and washing bowls and she keeps talking to me about a new baby brother that I will get to play with soon. I hope she is not getting me a cat!!!
Get ready for your life to be turned upside down! It will be a whirlwind, but maybe boys are not as wild as my little sis, Bailie. We do have a blast, but she is sure a paw full!
We don’t have any wild animals where we live – you be careful out there Emma π
This is one lunatic of a cat. I will be careful!
We love your hat!
Thank you. I love to wear hats.
Emma, you are a natural photographer. Love you choice of wild animal.
Thanks. I was glad the beast at least looked at the camera.
You’ve got one of those micro-tigers on your hands there, Emma! ?
Whatever animal it is, it is quite fierce.
LOL! You did a great job with the theme! π Very, creative and cute!
Thank you. I like to try to always find an “odd Emma angle”.
Good thing you caught the wild beast!
He is so full of trouble, he is a true animal and needs to be contained!
Love it! We actually have one that is reversed from when we first got Dakota/ Cody is sitting outside of Dakota’s crate and Dakota looks like he is in jail lol. It was before the days of blogging so my photo is horrible quality (well, most of mine are anyway! BOL!!) DakotasDen
Cat bro Bert deserves some jail time as he is so naughty!
You never know about cats. You just never do.
–Wags (and purrs) from Life with Dogs and Cats
We do know that Bert is usually in trouble!
Bert, do you resemble that remark? Too cute!
He pretty much does. A very naughty wild animal cat.
Luv seein Bert, such a cute kitty!
He is cute, but looks can be deceiving…he is very, very naughty.
Oh Emma, you caught yourself a tiger! You’d better give it some treats. π
No worries, I paid him well for his work.
Okay…we wanna know why Bert is in the cage and you’re not! π
Because he is a very naughty boy almost all the time and I was the one looking for an animal. He didn’t mind being a zoo cat for the photo because he got to go outside and he is supposed to be an indoor cat.
Bert looks mighty calm for a wild thing!
He has calm moments between his naughty rages.
Hahaha. Cute and very clever, Emma! We live with an animal. Rita’s dad! π
I sure hope he is not in a cage!
Emma…ummmm….we hope you were far, far away when that animal was released back into the wild! π
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Unfortunately, he was released into my house and promptly stole my bed…again…grrr…cats!
Poor Bert, no wonder he vexes you. LOL
I bet if he spent a week at your house you would no longer say poor Bert!
oh yes ~ we’re wild ferocious beasties, we kittehs are!! Pawesome visual (uh, Bert, is that okay if we say that???)
Bert doesn’t mind. I don’t think anything bothers him except not enough food.
well aren’t you clever! good job
Sadly, I had to let the animal loose in the house again π
Fun pictures, but that wild animal looks pretty tame…lol.
hahaha Bert I would save you!
That cat has such fake charm, really!
