Fall Comfort Food For Dogs
VERAโข makes premium pet treats at an affordable price! They use the highest quality cuts of beef and chicken in their products. We received Beef Recipe Fillets and Chicken Recipe Fillets for our review. A few important points about these tasty fillets:
- They are made of 95% real meat or chicken
- The fillets are soy, corn, and wheat free
- There are no animal by products
- No artificial colors or flavors are used
- They are soft and chewy, not crunchy
Vera Beef Recipe Fillets
We get a lot of chicken in our diet, which is why I chose to review the Beef Recipe Fillets. I love the taste of beef and couldn’t wait to taste these fillets. I couldn’t believe my luck when I saw the good sized pieces! Vera is not stingy on the size of their fillets. Each piece has around 56 calories, so it isn’t exactly low calorie, but we sometimes get these after a good workout.
I couldn’t wait to take a bite! I love them and they love me! Vera Beef Recipe Fillets are the perfect comfort food for dogs, in my GBGV opinion!
Vera Chicken Recipe Fillets
Bailie was up next to try out the Chicken Recipe Fillets. The Chicken Recipe Fillet pieces are nice and big, just like the Beef Recipe Fillets, and are around 50 calories per piece. If you have a smaller dog, or are more calorie conscious, the fillets can easily be torn into smaller pieces. Unfortunately, Mom often tears them in thirds so my sisters and I can split one fillet and have less calories.
Waiting for the photographer to “do her thing” is tough. Bailie wanted to dive into the chicken as soon as possible! Her teeth have a firm hold on that fillet in Mom’s hand! She loved the taste!
Why not give your dog a deli experience with Beef and Chicken Recipe Fillets from Vera? Your dog would love a 12 oz bag of tasty, healthy fall comfort food!

we are sure they taste good
They do, and we love the beef for a change.
Oh I bet that are super tasty treats. And I like the big pieces, so I’m busy for some seconds and my mom can relax for a (short) while :o)
They are big pieces but soft and chewy…a few seconds is all they last for us.
Those treats look nutritious. We just can’t have anything that big cause we try to eat it all at once
Lily & Edward
My mom usually tears on in a couple pieces and we share. I prefer a whole one, but Mom says I don’t need a whole one.
I like the idea of being able to break the treat into smaller pieces.
I don’t like the idea, but my mom does!
We think those beef treats would be spectacular! Paws crossed. โบ
Oh yeah! I love them too. We always have chicken, making beef a nice change!
Hmmm… comfort food. I love comfort food haha!
This sounds great though, perfect treat for the puppers!
แฆ husky hugz แฆ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
I guess you could try these, but they really are more for the dogs. Dogs like comfort food too!
Have to snag these last fall photos/treats while there’s still time – great shots!
We have such a wind today, I think the leaves will all be gone by tomorrow!
Zoe and Phoenix really liked those treats, too! I like that they aren’t greasy and it’s easy to stick a chunk in my pocket and rip small pieces off to give them as a reward!
You are right, they are not greasy. We haven’t tried putting them in a pocket, but it would work well.
Schooner and Skipper have never tried Vera. I am sure Schooner and Skipper would love it!
They are fairly new, but still super tasty! Good luck!
Those look really good. I love that you can break them into smaller pieces, though I’m sure the crew would be happy to each have their own!
We don’t like things torn into small pieces, but they are so good, we are happy to have any size piece.
Those look yummy!
They are very good.
Wow, it sounds almost as good as something you would cook up Emma!
I probably could make these, but it is much easier to buy them.
Those sure do look tasty, Emma!! Looks like they could satisfy a serious hunger craving!
I can’t believe your Mom tries to trick you like ours by breaking them into smaller pieces!
I know. Three dogs splitting one piece is simply not right!
I have never heard of this brand before, it sure looks yummy! And I love how nice and flat all the pieces are!!! ๐
Nice, flat, and big, unless your mom is a scrooge and tears them into small pieces!
looks and sounds very comfy. Beautiful fall photos.
They make our tummies feel real nice and comfy.
These treats sound like just the ticket for in between walk snacks!
We just love you all in the fall leaves!!
Smileys!
Dory, Jakey, Arty & Bilbo
Thank you. The fillets are real yummy after a good walk or romp in the yard in the leaves!
Those look super yummy! I think I would definitely break them into pieces for brown dawgs. They would say we are skimpy with the treats, but it is coming the time of year when they are not as active as the rest of the year.
We are coming into our active time and being out in the cold we burn a few more calories too. We still rarely get a whole one, but they are good no matter how big the pieces are.
Layla woofs she will always woof and howl and moan for soft treats and these sound yummy woof
They are nice and soft, easy to tear too.
